I know most aren't like that. Even the hosts that I have ended up being disappointed with in video almost always ask me how I am after I asked them. That's why it seems so strange, and it happens from time to time. Even if she gets video on another site, a good host usually says brb or something so that is just further evidence that she shouldn't be visited.

Maybe she is russian,,,in Russia different understanding whats rude than in western world. Even I am russian myself, but I was in western countries and even lived a bit, so i know how iportant be polite in your countries, as it showes your manners, education and class. When someone asks "How are you?" in English, they are asking "How are things?" They are not actually asking about the state of your health or how you feel at that moment. It is just a general question that people ask when greeting each other in person, on the phone, et cetera.

Additionally, the hosts always answer me, and in this case, the host said "great, ty". Do you think she was honestly saying that her health was great and every aspect of her life was great too? She understood the question. It was just a normal way of greeting someone. What is not normal, both in real life and on every site I have ever been on, including when speaking to Russian hosts, is for the person not to return the courtesy and say "How are you?" in
return. Also, many host immediately will say "Hi. How are you" before I even get a chance to type hello, and this includes Russian hosts.

You are missing the point about this "hru?" thing. To me, the failure to respond with a "hru?" or the equivalent is a sign that the host is not particularly good at her job. It shows that she is 100% focused on herself and couldn't care less about what the member wants and showing him a good time. Do members act the same way at times? Of course. But it isn't our job to entertain the hosts here (well, except for dungeon, I suppose, lol). And like I said, the few times that it happens, it is hosts below 4,5 stars that typically will fail to ask "hru?" once I have asked.

Well I'm not Russian so I don't know the correct translation. I was going by what the other host said who claimed she knew Russian. But hosts seem to look at "kak dela" as "how are you" when chatting. If I say "kak dela", I will be told "horosho" or "normal" just like I am told "good" or "okay".

I still think it isn't strange that the host won't say "hru" back. Even when I say "kak dela", the host will ask me how I am. And I definitely don't think it is a language issue since she knew to say "great ty".

Maybe a Romanian host would be confused since you ask "how are you" in Romanian the same way you ask "what are you doing". Sometimes when I chat with a friend from Romania, and I ask in Romanian, "hru", they will say "okay" and other times they might say what they are doing such as "watching tv", "work", et cetera. I could see a Romanain host thinking "what the f*ck is he asking what I am doing for? I'm working!", but given that she said "great ty" and others do the same, this is clearly not what hosts think when a member enters and asks hru.

Moreover, when learning a language, the first things you typically learn are things like "Hi", "What's your name?", "My name is.,..", "Nice to meet you." AND "How are you?" with the various responses. It is just how people typically interact.

I would have never posted the topic except for one thing: I noticed the lack of the return hru occurs with hosts that don't have the highest ratings. That is why I look at this situation as a lack of common courtesy and a sign that the host is not a top host. Or, it could be she is simply too busy and on too many sites. Once again, that tells me I should look elsewhere.

If you or others want to look at all of this as not a big deal, that's okay. But I am guessing anyone reading this that works as a host will say "hru?" for now on. And if her attitude is "Haha. No I won't.", then she probably has a bad attiude about other things so I wouldn't want to enter her video anyway.

Yes, even after 6 years living in UK i still struggle to say the right amount of PLEASE and THANK YOU. I had somebody pointing I missed saying TY in one ordering tea conversation. So the waitress asks if we'd like anything. I say "Can I have a cup of tea, PLEASE?" She says "Any sugar?" And I say "NO!" At which point somebody says awww how rude because I missed saying NO, THANK YOU. I tried so hard putting PLEASE and TY in my speech but it still doesn't come naturally LOL.
I personally think these 2 words are very overused in English. You can hear it 5-6 times for one simple transaction.

You are assuming that all members ask this question and that's not true. The ones that do, I usually assume that they are trying to figure out my mood and if I am fun. I answer and also ask them. As you said it is really a surface question or fake because if she did tell you that she was having a really bad day...would stay and comfort her or leave figuring she was a waste of money?
Honestly it sounds like you have set a rule for etiquette that is a fake, shallow question so if she doesn't ask in return then maybe that just means that she isn't fake and shallow enough to ask back!
Something else to keep in mind is that the viewer can't see how many people are in her chat and so if there are many in her room chatting and you come in asking that question ...it kinda sounds like you are there are there for chat and she might slow to respond but also maybe she is so busy with others that are getting ready into video that one more surface question chatter does not excite her....

My experience with the failure of the return hru? 1) does not happen much and 2) typically, and perhaps always, happens with hosts under 4,5 stars. I don't know what other members do, but I rarely have a problem with this issue and always will say hi, hru? That is why I find it so strange that a few hosts won't return the hru, especially after answering me and thanking me for asking how they are.

Most hosts don't want rude guys. What exactly should I say instead of hi, hru? Hi. Let's fuck? What would you propose? I guess I could say Hi, My name is John, but this is basically the same thing. And by the way, sometimes I will say "I'm John" and the host will say nothing. Even if I say "I'm John, u?", she will say nothing. It is the exact same type of thing. The failure to give a normal response and give her name is no different than the hru? situation.

If a host cannot take 2 minutes to at least say hello, hru? my name is..., then once again, she's probably not that good of a host. And in my personal experience, that type of behavior usually comes from hosts under 4,5 stars. I can understand that guys might waste a host's time in free chat, but I have had these experiences with hosts that don't know me. If she cannot take 2 minutes to at least say hello, et cetera, then she is obviously too busy, too rude, et cetera which would explain her lower rating in my view.

Other members can do what they want. When I see a sign of rudeness or a host that is too busy to even go through the preliminary introductions in free chat without any sign whatsoever that I am there to waste her time in free chat, in my view, it is time to move on.

It hardly is a secret, lol. And there are plenty of hosts with 4,5 and 5 stars. Are you trying to suggest that all of those highly ranked hosts are excluded from the secret one star attackers? C'mon! That is paranoia....yes we hosts, can be online on many sites at the same time, but as soon as we get pvt on one of them we close all other chats in other sites. Because it's REALLY HARD to keep track with all viewers at the same time. And to do a nude show for viewers from other sites we can only if we get pvt at the same time in different sites. Believe me, that's happen too seldom. And a viewer can feel it from the very first mins that model talking with someone else. It more likely can be yahoo or any other messenger we used to chat with friends between the sessions and hosts needs just some secs to say she is busy in pvt and thats all.. So dont worry if you get a host in 121...only you can see that show.

as another member pointed out in another post, yes, it was obvious she was still chatting away with others because of the bells and message notifies etc. i can see for several minutes that she would need to close all other windows and i can accept that. but when the chat dings and notifies just keep going say after 10 minutes, it is obvious she is not closing other windows and that my 121 is not really private and i do not have her attention.

Not ALL sites have free video. I know 2 very large ones that are set up much like cc. I have even been in 3 separate hosts rooms on 2 different sites at the same time. It is extremely rare for a host to only be on one site these days. That is just how the business is. If you are in 121, the host is not supposed to be on any other sites. That doesn't mean she might not be on yahoo messenger, for example.

I usually only go 121 with glamour and little shy hosts that require 121 for nudity. Occasionally, even without sound, it will become obvious that a host is chatting with someone else. I then have a decision to make: give her the benefit of the doubt, give her one star and leave (and maybe complain to CC), stay awhile and then give her one star. Unless it is obvious she is on another site, I will usually ask her what is going on to try to be fair about everything.

My decision will depend upon how things are going. Sometimes a host's English is poor so she might be using a translator. That could explain why she is typing a lot more than I am seeing. But if this is the case, I will usually know this before I ever went 121.

Sometimes I will ask the host why she is typing to other people. She will either give a good explanation such as she is telling other members to wait or she will lie and say she isn't doing anything like that when it is obvious that she is.

In terms of how I handle things, a lot will depend upon how the host and I have interacted up until I start suspecting she is on another site. Do I know her well? Did I suspect she was using a translator before? Was not paying much attention to me even though we were in 121? Did she reach down, apparently grab her phone (even if I didn't hear it ring), stand up and not show her face with one arm bent like she is holding something to her ear even though I cannot actually see it? Was she slow to respond even though she was not apparently using a translator and typing a lot even though I saw very little words?

The bottom line is that I just look at the overall circumstances and make a decision about what is going on. But make no question about it: if I am in 121, and if I conclude she's on another site too, even if I stay awhile, she's probably getting one star. Stalling, being on other sites, violating other rules, et cetera might not get me to leave right away if I think she's hot enough to keep paying, but that doesn't mean she will like my rating or comments in her and the viewer forum after the show is over. And if I didn't like the show enough to stay after I think she is on other sites when I'm in 121 and leave right away, I'm probably going to report her to CC and ask for a credit.

The good news is that I haven't had much of a problem with this. Most hosts don't seem to like to try to juggle talking to multiple members at the same time on one site, let alone more than one site so they often don't accept video from other sites even if I am in open and they are giving a show. But occasionally, I will run into a host violating the rules regarding 121 so I give her the poor rating she deserves.

I come to have fun. Part of having fun means the host isn't screwing me over. Until she does something that makes me suspicious, the fun continues. Once I notice a problem, the investigation as you call it, begins.

If you want to allow hosts to manipulate you and break the rules, that is your choice. For my part, I am nice and respectful to them, so I expect the same in return, which includes their following the rules. Once I see that they are not acting properly under the rules, that is a different story, and I am not so nice at that point.
