I used to complain about my taxes. That is before my accountant,
Ralph Norwood, gave me a surefire way to cut them in half.
Perhaps you can use the same method if you choose.
As usual, at tax time I grumbled about the high amount of money
that I paid each year in taxes.
I wasn't concerned about what my tax dollars paid for. I was
only concerned that state, federal, social security and other
deductions took a huge chunk of my money.
So like the vast majority of us, I complained.
I sat in the chair as the accountant crunched through the
numbers. Grumbling and complaining, I sat.
"I've got a way to instantly cut your taxes in half,"
Mr. Norwood said.
My ears perked up. I was at full attention.
In half! Did he realize how much money that would save me?
Had I missed a deduction?
Did he have a surefire tax shelter?
Was there a legal loophole that I was eligible for?
"How?" I excitedly asked.
"Simple, just cut your salary in half," Norwood answered.
That was over ten years ago, but it taught me a lesson that
I will never forget.
We complain when we are running short and we complain when we
are blessed with much. The key is, there is always something to
complain about and there is always something to be thankful for.
You choose.

Of course I feel guilty. The time and money I spend here could be spent elsewhere for other things that are more productive. Sexual addiction is an awful thing and makes you do things you wouldn't do. The question of non-adult vs adult pricing is a regular topic. First as has often been pointed out, was girls charge and what people pay is detirmined by market forces. this is for the hosts - about what percentage of the time are you always honest about your feelings for a guest. I am thinking that there is a lot of hosts that will tell their customers certain things like - no boyfriend - in order to enhance the fantasy for their guests. If I could guess - I would say about 85 percent of the hosts put on an alternate ego just for cc and becomes part of their job here so they don't feel that it is lying because they have to do it to make money. I am not sure I will get honest replies - because not many will admit to it but I was just interested in some genuine responses.

doncha think cynics and the like kinda project their own values or lack of them onto others? good-hearted, generous peeps tend to be more charitable to the flaws in others.

their lack of values or their hurt or sensitive and guarded nature, maybe too. it pays to be cautious, true, but it costs more to be overly so and assume everyone has only their own interests at heart.

what percnetage of the time are you honest with your feeling with your co-workers? with your staff at the department store? the supermarket? this is life kid, there is no possible way a host can be true to every single customer everytime. Hope I didn't burst your bubble.

well some of the hosts that replied mentioned having fallen in love with members here, having had relationships with them, etc. and it made me curious about how honest you were with the member you were in a relationship with. I am not asking if you told that member everything you did with other members in shows physically, because I think that would be too much for most guys to handle and would create unnecessary jealousy. What I am more curious about is if you were honest with the member you were in a relationship with about how you talked with other members... I mean did you still play a role with other members and tell them you loved them and had relationships with them and talk about being with them in real life and marriage and all that stuff... while at same time telling the member you loved and were really in relationship with that you don't do that stuff with other members cuz you love him and only him? And were you honest about this job with him? I mean did you tell him that this was just a job and those other guys didn't mean anything to you and he is the only guy you loved, even if maybe that was a lie and you actually liked some of the other members, maybe had feelings for them or felt pleasure when you did shows with them and looked forward to having them in your vid?

When I said I lied I meant lieing about being single a few years ago, but I never say "I love you" without believing it!! I never say I have feelings without having them!
And yes of course I am sincere and of course the guy I fell with knew it was my job here and I am supposed to entertain my viewers, so if he had a problem with that - well I don't know, he never said it.
I don't get it: why would someone lie the loved one? If you lie at the start or during a relationship, no matter how much u love the other one, the relationship won't work, the lies r always discovered.. So what is the point in lieing anyway?

oh geez? i don't understand ur being upset Charlotte, i did not say my question was directed at you nor did i mention anything u said from ur post. it was just a general question i put out to all hosts, no one in particular.
i know some hosts here fall in love with members, but i also know that some of them continue to lead on other members and have "fake" relationships with them, telling them they love them and talking about meeting in real life and marriage and the whole nine yards... while telling the member they really are in a relationship with that they only chat with these other guys, that they are just friends and that they don't have any feelings for them or ever tell them they love them. i understand the hosts are here to make money.... everyone is well aware of that fact, but what i don't understand is their thought process behind denying their relationship to others, to continue to lead other men on and lying to the one they love about doing it. that it is what i was hoping to get an insight into from their answers. cuz, needing money aside, i do not understand how they could believe their relationship could work out being dishonest with the one they love and spending so much time and energy every day denying u have a relationship with him. maybe eventually u would convince urself that it does not exist cuz u spend so much time telling others ur single and so alone and u talk urself out of love perhaps? i don't know. just a theory. but it's possible don't u think? how many relationships would have worked out here if a host just simply told others she was in a relationship and did not hide that fact? i mean without going into details with others and telling them he is a member and his member name and all that... just simply saying she is in love with someone and in a relationship and just leaving it at that.

well said...there is too much fantasy. when you put too much hope into dreams, you are just blowing that bubble bigger, and when it does pop it will just hurt so much more. as for figuring out what is a dream or reality...i still believe dreams come true...but thats just my wishful thinking...
