Yes, sometimes commchat can be slow and not much fun - other times it is a good laugh. But it is the same as going to a pub without arranging to meet people first -sometimes you can see people you like and enjoy yourself, other times you will be sitting there drinking on your own wondering why you bothered. But some people go into comm chat just expecting others to entertain them - and if everyone is just sitting there silently waiting to be entertained then it is generally not going to be great fun.
I would say though that there are always some people that I hope will be there when I enter - and there have been some people who I used to strongly hope would not be there because I thought they tended to be offensive, bullying idiots and although it could be said that chat was "lively" it could also be like watching 2 ten year old kids calling each other rude names and thinking it made them "grown-up" or "hard"

I feel I permanently hurt my ears at a Slade concert in about 1974. I was literally in agony for several days and I wore earplugs to keep "normal" sounds from hurting me.

In Chapter Four, as Harry leaves Privit Drive for the final time, the group sent to protect him is attacked by Voldemort and the Death Eaters. We lose Hedwig, the white snowy owl that has been Harry's friend and mail carrier through the previous six books.

In this battle Mad-Eye Moody, the Auror is killed. George Weasley is badly wounded, but survives.

Scrimgeour, the Minister of Magic is killed to put Voldemort's man in power.

Gregorovitch, the wandmaker, and Grindelwald, the dark wizard, are killed by Voldemort in his search for the Elder Wand, one of the three Deathly Hallows. Ollivander, the wandmaker is tortured, but saved by Dobby.

Bathilda Bagshot, an old friend of Dumbledore's family who still lived in Godric's Hallow, was murdered in order to lure Harry into a trap if he visited her for information.

Dobby, Harry's loyal protector dies rescuing him from Malfoy's house as Voldemort is about to arrive.

In Chapter 27 the goblin from Gringotts who brings news to Voldemort that the cup has been stolen is killed as are many Death Eaters. The Malfoys manage to escape from the room and survive the Dark Lord's murderous rage.

Snape is killed by Voldemort or more specifically by Nagini, but not because he was found to be a traitor...

Quite a few Hogwarts students, many who were part of Dumbledore's Army, plus members of the Order of the Phoenix died in the final battle. Crabbe was killed by the Fiendfyre he created to kill Harry - it almost killed Draco Malfoy. Tonks, Lupin and Fred Weasley are the main characters lost in the Battle of Howarts, but more than 50 were killed.

The biggest loss should have been Harry...the odds-on favorite to not outlive the series. He does get murdered by Voldemort, but the killing curse winds up only destroying the piece of Voldemort's soul that lived in Harry. Pretending to be dead, Harry is carried back to Hogwarts where Neville Longbottom risks his life to destroy Nagini, the last of the Horcruxes. The last victim in the book is Voldemort, himself. Destroyed by his own curse...

What were the Horcruxes? Voldemort split his soul into seven pieces in an attempt to conquer death. As long as any of the pieces of his soul survived, he could be returned to life. Unknown to Voldemort, he also left part of his soul with Harry when he attempted to kill him. That meant there were eight pieces of Voldemort's soul. One in his body, one in Harry and the other six stored in objects that had value or special meaning to Voldemort.

Yes, Hermione and Ron get married and have a family. So do Harry and Ginny. One of Harry's boys, Albus Severus, is named for Dumbledore and Severus Snape! Draco Malfoy also marries and his son, Scorpius, goes to Hogwarts with the Potters and Weasleys.

The new webpage i'd like to make is about advertising a website for properties in bulgaria.
They are promising some very good percentages from the sales and good fixed rates per genuine sign up.
But because I am not very sure whether they will be correct and pay, and im not sure i will succeed bringing them business, I dont want to pay 50 pounds for one year for a page, just to try it out.
And it is kinda bizzare to put banners for properties on my adult sites. The site gives you only banners, not links, so i need a free webpage where i can put banners and see what i can do with it for couple of months.

But reading it a second and third time, I think she was just being straightforward, I don't think it was her intention to lash out at threadstarter. Some of it might be a language problem, I think by "crap" she meant pop-ups and sponsor advertising, I don't think she was referring to his site as being crap. I did not understand the "duh" comment, but I don't think people should be so bent out of shape for so little reason. Wishing her "good luck" with getting new viewers is off point and kind of mean. Just my two cents worth....

PS. Milena2080....Most "free" web host services will have some advertising and pop-ups on them. Like someone suggested to you, check out your internet service provider. Also, in the past I used a very low cost hosting company called 1&1 (google it). They have packages starting at $3.99 per month, $4.99 gives you probably more than you need. You said you don't want to spend 50 quids per year, but these guys charge month to month, so if you decide you would like to discontinue you don't have to pay for the whole year.

You may be right Asterix. She might be referring to popups & ads. But as I've said, the popups are easy to get rid of & the few ads there are, are on point with the sites they are on. For example: My site is about Bigfoot (The cryptid, not the monster truck) There are ads for dvd's about Bigfoot & sometimes ads for things useful in field research on my site. So I actually consider the ads a plus & the popups a non-issue. And my server allows me to add photos, audio, video, animation, html code, & a wide variety of colors & font styles & other things to. All for FREE. If Milena had a site there, it would probably have ads for webcams, video cameras, photo processing, etc... She could even have a search engine & a guestbook on it if she wanted. All things that might very well attract viewers. I wasn't going to ask for anything in return if I built a site for her either. Even though a few years ago "DiamondDoll" advertised that she wanted a site built & offered a free show in return. She liked what I built for her so much at the time that she gave me a 25 minute free show & made me a custom 12 minute video.

You are right, that was the original question. However, later she stated that the reason she is looking for a free site is that she is reluctant to fork over fifty pounds for a 1 year contract. I believe that this is almost twice the amount than what the hosting service I mentioned charges, plus she could cancel after a couple of months if she decided the site concept would not work. Like a previous poster who said that paid hosting is the way to go (and this is generally almost true!), and as someone with at least some experience with web hosting services, I was merely trying to be helpful.
