Would you have a forum so that you could hear all the complaining from the members that a host didn't strip for them and meet all their fantasies (which are many)? Honestly, with the different categories seems there is something for all yet there are always going to be some that will never be happy.
You can make some of the people happy all the time and
You can make all the people happy some of the time, but
You can not make all the people happy all the time!

I would make it clear which host does what. I would have little check boxes in your profile to cover all the various things members looks for. So there is no ambiquity and no confusion. A member should check the profile and then would know what to expect. You could even have a check box for hosts who do not strip until 5 or 10 minutes into the video so members know the girls wants a little credit to add up before she shows the goodies. I think it would stop a lot of problems....put scammers our of business....make members happier...and make a better site. If for whatever reason a host cannot fulfill her profile selections she should be able to change them easily. I would also like to see the current price shown and if a host is in video just from the Whos Online Results....save me a lot of time....

one of the things i hate about a competitors site is the huge great long list of hosts all in one category and the bitching that goes on about star ratings becos they all want to be near the top.

I assume you mean the thread headed epassporte update. Almost everything on this seems to be speculation. The only verifiable point is that he sued Mastercard and was apparently involved in a company that went bankrupt.
BTW you did not answer my question about when the account was frozen and you were required to submit the personal information. I have a theory about what happened but it depends on the time.

Speculation or not, this guy in charge seems suspect. Obviously, anyone within an organization could steal personal information, but it makes me a lot more uncomfortable when the head of the organization is the one that is suspect and when I am not dealing what is clearly a legitimate entity such as a highly regulated bank or a government agency. (Well, one hopes that these are legitimate, lol.)

If something like my bank asks for id and all of that type of information when I open an account, or my employer when I get a new job, I know that they are following the law. When somebody else does, it makes me highly concerned, and it is a very, very big deal for me. (I think that epassporte might be incorporated outside the USA by the way which made me even more suspicious, or at least that was my thinking at the time.) Unlike what you described as your situation, nobody's account was compromised. Some mysterious red flag was triggered by their system, and they wouldn't tell me what it was other than that maybe the recipient withdrew money too fast. (I still don't get that, lol.) The only thing I knew is what I said, namely that if I wanted the money unfrozen, I had to give them the information. My only other option was to lose the money. The first time I had an issue (the one where the money was frozen), was probably over 4 years ago. The second time I had an issue was in fact February/March of last year, but it was not as big of a problem. They made me reverify everything by sending all of my personal information once again. After my initial post, I remembered that I did open a new account since my old one had expired so that could have been part of it. I think there excuse was something about verifying information with my bank (which is still a very major bank in the USA despite the crisis). The second time I did have a choice since no money had been loaded yet, but I figured that they already had my information so thought I had less to lose.

Did something happen last year that made you ask that question? Were banks being less cooperative in terms of allowing epassporte to see there was no fraud involving the credit card I was loading money from?

Something did indeed happen around February-March last year. On 18th February EPasspoerte sent a message vis their message center saying they now needed additional account verification. The verification they required was the documents you had to submit. They said that if this was not submitted within 30 days the account would be blocked. They sent a reminder on March 1st. I was initially not happy about being asked to provide this information and asked for details why it was required. After several EMails I was satisfied with the explanation and provided the information. When I remembered this I wondered if you had been checking your epassporte messages around that time or whether it was possible you and/or the recipoent had received a similar message which you had missed and the 30 day time limit came up around the time you sent the money. You may still consider the information request unreasonable but at least the message gave 30 days notice so that there was time to clear the account if the holder did not wish to comply.

Jeena, I'm not really sure what you mean by the "good" ones, or the "most human" ones. Partly it has to do with the difference between friendships between men and those between women.

I used to think that, but have found many that speak English very well in IA. And form time to time come across one in Glamour that has marginal English skills. But I do know and have across many hosts on other cams sites that speak English very well, some are form the UK and US and even one that from China living in Canada and has a PHD in English LIt. There are girls that are true exibitionists, but the only ones on this site are in IA. The rest here strip reluctently and only when they really feel they need to keep the client in paid video. Given the choice they would much rather just sit and talk.

He'll (epassporte owner) will make his money on his new
movie "Middle Men" which is about the industry he created epassporte to web cam girls.

I watched the trailers AND the movie. If you have any doubts, just Google epassporte Middle Men and you'll find things like "epassporte accounts tied to several shady affiliate programs, such as those used to reward people who promote rogue anti-virus products and online pharmacy sites"... but apparently Mr. Mellick's movie should benefit from all the publicity

It is obvious that Christopher Mallick sold out all us that are holding accounts with epassporte so that he could capitalize on another fortune by producing the movie "Middle Men". It exposed such controversial actions and affiliations that Visa did not want to be connected in anyway. I am sure that it wasn't very difficult to find many reasons for dropping his account with the bank. In the mean time while he and the bank are trying to figure how to replace Visa and continue business as epassporte they are making an incredible amount of interest of the multi-millions that are held in those accounts. They are NOT seeking ways to distribute it in a timely manner and quite honestly don't care if others are hurting because of it. It's all about them making money and retaining their business. Both the bank and epassporte would go through extreme financial hardship to allow transfer of account holder funds immediately. We are talking a very small bank that obviously saw the potential for extreme deposits. I am sure there are government agencies that have laws against withholding depositors money for any period of time. I hope that someone takes that action soon.
Also in my opinion anyone that considers doing future business with epassporte is putting themselves at great risk when he loses all the other depositors money!!
If he had not made the movie, non of this would have happened!!

My projection is that if he can Mastercard to work with him then he will turn around and make everyone who holds a Visa card with epassporte to purchase the new Mastercard in order to get their funds out. Of course he'll charge another $35 at least so that cardholders have an investment and won't leave epassporte. He's hoping for this to happen with another international card holder service or he's done. I'm sure he won't issue any credit for the $40 that account holders have already paid for Visa. For those who still cant see the real cause for this, you should read this phrase and think about what it says:

At the request of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank (SKNA), on September 2, 2010, Visa blocked network access for prepaid cards issued by SKNA and operated by ePassporte.com"

At the request of... so its not Visa who cause this, or started this.. it was ePassporte's local bank who asked visa to do this, and most obviously the reason for this was that there was not money in ePassporte's account.. you can figure out where this money gone?
And as you can see, there was no reason for epassporte to block ability to withdraw money from epassporte visa accounts, or to send this money to someone else who can withdraw it, or transfer it back to sender... this all was just bullshit that Malick feed to us.

I think that the money is there....the bank works under federal guidelines in handling the funds. He and the bank just wants to find an alternate solution to closing down the Visa option. Supposedly he is supposed to come up with a plan by friday :)

The bank is NOT a US bank (St Kitts) so federal banking laws need not apply.

"we were notified that effective immediately, Visa International has suspended our banking partner's (St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank) ePassporte Visa program.
...At this time we do not know why this drastic action was taken by Visa."

Why he try to blame Visa, when it was after all ePassporte's partner bank who asked Visa to freeze all ePassporte visa ATM cards?

No, Visa International dropped all business with Epassporte. The bank just handled the Visa transactions. Why would he want a disaster like that. If he can't get back with Visa or Mastercard.....epassporte can not exist. He makes tons of money from epassporte.

To put it simple, Visa didnt dropped all business with ePassporte, it was ePassporte's partner bank WHO ASKED VISA TO DO THIS

In reference to this statement it sounds like if Mr. Mallick can get his act together and comply with the card regulations then there is a chance of him continuing with Visa. Non the less it appears it is his choice to block the account holders from their funds which is ruthless, just like him.

Visa hasn't said for how long the suspension will be, but Debra Geister, senior director of AML and compliance services at LexisNexis' risk solutions, says there is buzz on the blogs "that this action is based on the recently released credit card guidelines."

The one thing that I don't understand is why the money is frozen and people cannot get their money back into their ewallets. I read the article again and noted that it said as follows:

“It is important to note that impacted SKNA prepaid cardholders are still able to access their funds through SKNA or SKNA’s agent, ePassporte.com."

That would seem to imply that the only thing that is frozen is the ablity to use the bank cards and online cards, but that people still should be able to transfer money back to their ewallets. Maybe I am reading this wrong, and it just means that only money currently in the ewallet can be accessed, but perhaps this ability will be returned to epassporte cardholders soon, and they will be able to at least withdraw their money through other means. On the other hand, if all of these conspiracy theories have any truth, then I have no idea what would happen to the money and maybe people will never see it again. As much as I dislike epassporte, it is hard to believe that this is all one big scam to steal millions of dollars in light of how immediately public things would obviously become, but who knows? And why did the article describe epassporte as "an agent" of the bank instead of a customer? Perhaps it is just poorly written or the source behind the article mispoke.

It all comes down to this: don't plan on getting your money back and never use epassporte again if you ever do get your money. That is a horrible thought for those hosts that can barely survive as it is, but it may be the ultimate reality. If the other posters are correct, the people behind epassporte are not to be trusted so if you ever get your money back, do not assume that it was just a one time thing and all is okay. Use another method to get paid even if there is a fee. The next time could be worse, and it would be foolish to do anything else but to switch payment methods.

(By the way, when I travel overseas, I take cash, credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, and travelers checks to make sure I always have back up methods. You never know when a bank will cut off your credit, debit, and prepaid cards so always have a backup plan, namely cash and travelers checks, and have cards issued by more than one bank and more than one company, i.e., both visa and mastercard, and amex if available, if possible.)

Sounds to me like everyone should not just resolve to losing their money with epassporte but keep calling them and the bank why they are not releasing the funds. We're talking a lot of people here and there is strength in numbers! Be strong and demand your money with emails and phone calls.

As girl already commented - I also believe it is much easier to go through an agency or handle the application yourself.

In order to get a private visa, the person you will visit will have to fill out an application form for an invitation, the process time of this one is much longer (I read up to 45 days) than if you get an 'official' invitation - either from a hotel or from a legally registered agency.

Remember also that this is just to get the invitation so that you can apply for the visa itself - and embassies or consulates normally require that you meet up in person to deliver your application - unless you let someone else (including your visa agency) handle it. Most people don't live within a stone's throw of their embassy, after all.

If you are staying with your friend, you are required to register yourself with the police within 72 hours of your arrival (sundays and public holidays are not counted into this), and your friend will probably have to accompany you to document that he/she is the legal owner/renter of the apartment. If you are staying at a hotel, they will do this part for you, normally for a small fee.

So if time is money, there is a lot less hassle to let an agency do things for you. But if you want to save a bit of cash and don't mind the extra work with beauracracy, go for the private option ;)

i always use an agency ,never had problem with it. they only thing u need to be carefull about is ur travelinsuarnce because not all are excepted anymore.
