Why so much fuss about Glamour?
I'm disgusted seeing so many complaints about hosts in Glamour. The category is broad enough to allow great variety of entertainment.
The solution is quite simple. If you don't like what hosts do in Glamour, then don't go there! Go to Instant Action or some other category.

Maybe don't visit them in any category. I have never found a host in Notshy who acts "glamourish" in that category even when she has a another name in glamour. The actual rule differemces between glamour and littleshy are now non-existent. It is more a matter of image.

The rules are much different. All hosts in hardcore MUST strip naked. No ifs ands or buts. In softcore nudity is NOT required even in 121.

Right, Glamour is created to imitate a "real" pick up. Boy, if you are nice and funny enough and if you gotsome money you feel like sharing, and got some patience, you have all chances to get what you are looking for. Glamour Girls
Over time there has been a lot of slamming of this category and its girls in both this and the viewer forum. And yes it can be confusing for members at times. And yes there have been a few hosts that may have given it a bad name by lying and misleading viewers and prospective viewers. But you have a few bad hosts in every category and this happens on all sites to some extent. But my overall experience has been excellent. For the most part these girls are lovely, very smart, honest, and do their best to please their viewers. So we should not judge all but the actions of a few bad ones. I have seen some on here that have absolutely mind numbing beauty, with faces that could be on the cover of Vogue magazine. And for an old piece of shit like me to even be able to speak to and see them live is a tribute to modern technology and my credit cards. So it is best to read the descriptions of the category and the host's profile and to only expect to talk live to the host or to insure you have her full attention you can choose one to one. Anything else is a bonus. If you need a nudity guarantee you can choose the hardcore categories.

I for one resent your statement that the only purpose men come here is to see nudity. Nudity may be a big part of it, but SOME of us are well-rounded enough to appreciate MORE than just watching a host get naked. If a host has two sessions open under different names she is supposed to pause one session whenever someone enters video in the other, regardless of whether it is open video or 121. Hosts normally do this pretty quickly (they are human so may occasionally forget) and CC does check on this. It is more of an issue if a host has sessions open on other sites.

Wouldn't it be nice if members were not allowed to name hosts in public forum also? No more running down a host in an attempt to discredit her or sway her business. But there should still be a means of feedback to the host and/or to CC in cases of negligence or abuse of the host-atorial office.

There is a personal forum for each host to communicate with them or through CC mail to them. Many would appreciate the feedback in private or constructive criticism opposed to humiliating her. Contacting CC when you feel it is appropriate is also an available option.

questions for hosts
I have heard some things that I wonder if they are true:
1. that hosts can see our remote ID (IP address)?
2. that hosts are notified when we come online if they are in our fav list, or we have visited them before?
3. that hosts know whether we are new members or have been here a while?

Thanks everybody for answering. Not so much that I am paranoid or worried about changing names, i just like keeping my private information private.

Hosts can only tell when you visited them before when you enter their video.
A few years ago hosts used to be able to see a member's IP address when the member was in their video but now they cannot.. Members used to be able to see the host's IP address when they were in video.

Ummm, and maybe YOU should quit making assumptions about why I posted this, and how I behave here on CC. Sheesh, get a life and quit assuming the worse about folks.

So what you are saying is that folks who change names are doing it to harrass a host? Think again. I change names all the time, but I have my reasons, and not because I harrass hosts. In fact when I do change names, I let my favorite hosts know who I am when I come to visit. You sound like a pretty jaded person.

For many people it's bad here in the US. And I don't think the government is doing the right things to fix the problem. They have given their help to the wrong people. Myself I really can't complain too hard. My income has gone way up in the last 2 years.

Far too many variables to answer the question in any way meaningfully. For instance if you're in the UK, with a secure job and a mortgage to pay, then with interest rates at a historic low for 18 months (and moderate inflation for many items) you could potentially have been quids in and recession-proof. Sadly I am neither!

Most other sites do it already. How about they find a way to do it here and pass on a percentage to the hosts?

Why not pass a percentage to the member since he is giving her a show? Most of the hosts I've visited ask me if I have a cam and even before I enter their vid. I've even ask the host if she would pay me to turn on my cam. LOL That goes over really well. lol

I like this, "end of chat fee" ! It would be like an exit fee when you leave some countries, you pay an exit fee. For cc, it could be like $5 to end a video session. And why not an Internet surcharge, like the fuel surcharge of airlines?

I think she meant, that 121 costs more. You don't have to go to 121 to do cam2cam. But her comment, nonetheless, doesn't make sense to me as 121 and cam2cam are not the same thing

As I do not go to non adult I would guess the most I would pay to just talk would be 5c a min. However I have the feeling that I would still consider this too high.
There are plenty of other places a person can go to just chat and not have to pay anything, its called a chat room.
Having said that I must admit that I have paid my fav host quite a high rate here just to chat, but that is because I love her.

Can't agree on that. There are averager girls and guys on here too. Not everyone is "gorgeous" as you say. And not everyone comes on here just to do the sex thing. Some enjoy chatting and some prefer chatting over sex. Some are even willing to pay here to do it.
But there are plenty of non-pay chatrooms and webcam opportunities on the net. And plenty of "gorgeous" women and men using them.

I only use this site for chat when I am bored. Not for sex. I get that in real. For an average 1 to 1.5 hour chat I wll not normally pay more than $1.20 per minute - obviously I prefer $1.00 or under but I find hosts less than $1.00 usually have poor English and it is not very satisfying. Better to spend a bit more and actually chat rather than sit waiting while they use the translator. One of my favourites started at about 0.90 and gradually increased her prices so that now I think she is about $2.00/min. I stopped chatting with her at $1.30. Even explained to her why but she did not seem to understand that no matter how much I might enjoy chatting with her there is a limit to what I am prepared to pay.

My favourite started at about the same 5 years ago ($0.90), went up to where she's now at $2.50/$5.00. Can't say I haven't visited her, but it's never for long. She became so popular, she could ask/demand that much and is even mostly in 121 or pass sessions at the higher amount. I asked her once if she ever lowered her price and her reply was "Why? I'm worth it"

Because we all tell the hosts we love them, they are the best, the most beautiful and the only ones we visit. So we wouldnt want them to find out that we are really visiting lots of girls and telling them the same thing :)
