In my experience nearly 100% of hosts ask if I have a cam, no matter what site I am on. If it is a feature of the site they ask.

Yes, there are a number of reasons that they might actually want to see it, but I think for many it is a simple stalling technique. Especially on the other sites where the prices are higher, the show typically starts earlier, and ends faster, that extra minute or two is meaningful to them. They easily rack up an extra $6 with that one question, plus the inevitable comments about how they wish they could see me. If they ask the typical c.c. questions on those sites the bill is over $20 before you get started.

On several other sites i know if a member has a cam connected cam2cam works by default. The member has to opt out if he doesn't want to show. This may explain why hosts on other sites do not ask for cam2cam With CC the member has to select cam2cam so if he doesn't and the host wants to see the member she asks. In the days before CC had cam2cam many hosts used to ask me to send cam on yahoo.

I go to 11 other sites and on each one member has to activate his cam.

Yes it makes no difference to me. The reason I believe most hosts ask guys to turn on their cam is because #1 the host knows for certain it is not someone that she knows and #2 because it gives her a chance to see if you are enjoying her show and #3 it is a much more personal experience.
As for viewer's comment.....if a guy is a sarcastic jerk....no amount of money will buy him a show.:)

So you might be cheap but not all are and like to tip the host if she is very good....

as for tipping, i'm not against it as long as it is completely voluntary and as long as the host gets 100% of the tip, and CC doesn't take a cut. another site that has tipping, the site takes 50% which absolutely sucks. On another site which has tipping, the host never really gets the money.

Bentley I agree. There is always room for suggestions which should be encouraged. Though CC is the best cam site i have looked at. Not as many frills and gimmicks here maybe as others (and some include the facilities LTM suggests), though CC is a great cam community with more respect and a good 'feel' .No change required imho, don't spoil a good thing!

Yes and no. It might be good to click a button and check a running total (which is otherwise hidden) whilst the video is still in progress; but having the total on continuous display is a bad idea, it will be like sitting in a taxi and one will be be constantly checking the meter rather than looking out of the window!

i suggest an entrance exam for hosts, where they have to understand the basic principles of a sex site before they are accepted as hosts and a entrance exam for members where they have to understand that this is not a free site.

Whilst this site has other features, it will always primarily be somewhere where people want to watch live videos of beautiful women and as such video size, quality etc. will be the most important factor for many. Sadly, when one has seen full screen videos at other sites, the limitations of CC with its small sizes, are sorely exposed. It's great in every other aspect, but this is a serious shortcoming. Now that CC have one again begun making comments in the public forums, which is very welcome, this might be an ideal opportunity for them to provide an update on when this long-awaited enhancement might be expected.

HD full screen vid. has been mentioned before - there are some HD pics in profiles and they look good. I guess the full screen vid. , HD or not, is some way off. Would be nice if CC kept us informed in the technical forum.

Your knowledge of the Gulf Stream is inaccurate.

The Gulf Stream, together with its northern extension towards Europe, the North Atlantic Drift, is a powerful, warm, and swift Atlantic ocean current that originates at the tip of Florida, and follows the eastern coastlines of the United States and Newfoundland before crossing the Atlantic Ocean. The process of western intensification causes the Gulf Stream to be a northward accelerating current off the east coast of North America.

They have apparently stopped any more oil from coming out of the broken pipe in the Gulf of Mexico. They have also cleaned up a lot of the oil that was in the water. There is still oil that needs to be cleaned up in the water and on the beaches.

Some of the oil is now in little pieces that were created when chemicals were used to break it up. A lot of this broken oil up has gone to the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico which could be a very bad thing since it could kill anything that lives down there. Nobody is really saying. And nobody knows how dangerous these chemicals are.

The oil that has reached the beach could have gone deep into the sand so maybe it will be there a long time. Nobody has said. In Alaska, where a ship leaked a lot of oil in the 1980's, there is still oil in the rocks on the shore even though supposedly it has all been cleaned up.

Also, there are marshes and wetlands which protect the coast and are where important for the food chain. Little fish grow there and the bigger fish eat the little fish and even bigger fish eat them. Plus birds feed there. When you destroy the beginning part of the food chain, you hurt the entire chain. Nobody knows how bad things will be, and it is possible the plants and the little fish that live there will all die and the beginning of the food chain will be destroyed. Plus, the plants help protect the coast from hurricanes so this could be a problem.

The Gulf Stream is warm water which starts in Florida and goes up the eastern part of the USA. It then goes to Western Europe and other places. It makes the weather and the water warmer up the East Coast of the USA and in Europe. It is even possible that oil could end up in Europe this way, but probably not much. Maybe it can all end up at British Petroleum's headquarters.

This has been the worst enviromental disaster in the history of the USA and the biggest oil spill here. There may have been other bigger oil spills in the middle east, but nobody knows for sure. All of the effects will be unkown for a long time. British Petroleum and the government of the USA showed just how stupid people really can be. It is very, very sad.

Before you rush to criticise BP, I suggest you do some research on Union Carbide and then contrast and compare.

I have no idea what Union Carbide has to do with this. I know that there were other companies that were in charge of making the oil rig and platform, and they too deserve to be criticized, but I don't think Union Carbide had any role.

I don't only blame BP for this, but BP was ultimately in charge and they have a history of a lack of safety. Plus, BP's response has been slow, and it looks like doing things such as using dispersants to break up the oil and not accurately let people know how much oil was coming out were attempts to make things seem not as bad as they really were. But I also blame the government for being slow to respond as well.

As for Union Carbide, I am well aware of the disaster in India a number of years ago, but I have no idea what this has to do with anything. I am not claiming that the Gulf spill was the worst environmental disaster in the history of the world, and I think that I even said that it might not have even been the worst oil spill ever.

Your post, with all due respect, makes ZERO sense to me unless Union Carbide had something to do with the oil spill. What is your point, that as bad as BP is that Union Carbide is worse? Okay, fine. Union Carbide killed lots of people so they are worse. Happy now? I am not really concerned about who is worse, and the fact that BP might not be as bad as another company is irrelevant.

I'm no oilman or even an environmentalist, but using dispersants was surely an essential part of the solution to the spill; are you suggesting that in the interests of transparency they shouldn't have been deployed ?

It may have been easier to clean up had they not used the dispersants. Hopefully, they made the right choice, but many don't think so. We shall see. And there appears to be a safety issue regarding the dispersants. I don't think I will be eating fish from the Gulf of Mexico any time soon.

As an example they hire people to "inspect and clean the beaches"..... But what just about nobody knows is the salary BP pays to this person... But again if you live here...... you would see the people who are hired to do this "inspection and cleaning” are a joke.... NOTHING IS GETTING DONE..... The meeting lasted approximately 3 hours.... because of the questions and frustrations from the public. .... we left from the meeting knowing exactly what BP's plan for cleanup and restitution was.... and that was ....we knew nothing more than when we first got there….. They talked and talked and threw around these really cool sounding catch phrases....but nothing was actually said. I along with thousands and thousands of other people who live here in the Gulf, know exactly what BP is doing to “make this right”….. And the answer is…..they are doing next to nothing…… BP does not care about the people that have been devastated by this disaster. Again….they only care if their world wide profits go up or not…they only care if their CEO’s and executives will get their 6-8 figure bonuses this year. THAT IS THE ONLY THING THEY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT.

Agreed!! It was in fact BP's decision not to replace and maintain certain equipment is why it happened in the first place. Unfortunately our government inspectors were in bed (so to speak) with many of the oil companies and so things were let slip and ignored. BP's cheap ass decisions have cost many and who really knows how much devastation environmentally over time. BP has also been very deceptive about revealing the truth through all this. I am glad that they are replacing the arrogant CEO with an American which I am sure is a strategy to get back in with the Americans good graces.

Hey, it can't all happen overnight. BP have already paid out $308million to businesses, fishermen etc which isn't bad going in less than 4 months. actually yes i have......... I ride my bicycle to and from work almost everday. (weather permitting) . I also ride my bicycle to the grocery store when I only have to get a few small items. When its needed to drive a car, we try to car pool and run our errands at the same time... and I am not the only one who does this, there are many people who are trying to help reduce oil, fule usage and consumption.... but sadly there are many, many more who could also do this... it does take a little adjusting to your lifestyle, but the benefits (saving money, better health, helping reduce our "foot print") greatly out weigh the image of riding around in a big SUV to go to McDonalds or something like that. I guess the question is...... are YOU doing anything to help?

The spill was devastating and the extent of long term damage will not be known for a long time. There are many lies on the news and it is not "fixed" and won't be for a very long time. BP made some cheap bad judgement calls and 11 people lost their lives on top of the huge amount of oil that was dumped into the ocean. In time we will see what other kinds of natural disasters can come from this.

Yes, I was WTF too, lol. But I haven't been happy member or angry member in a long time. That was at least a month ago. Probably 6 weeks or maybe even 2 months ago. And lots of guys are "member" or "viewer".

As to your point about spending a lot of time here, that is true on some days, but people surf the net and blog and stuff all of the time too. I disagree about your characterization of most members as wanting what they can't have and willing to spend what it takes to get it. Maybe some guys do it, but I certainly don't, and I spend a lot here getting what I want pretty easily most of the time.
