For me, it is like gambling. You need to know when to walk away, at least as a member. I won a pretty big prize. I was happy. Last time I won a big prize in a similar contest, I tried using it to my advantage since it didn't cost me any money to compete the next day. The result? No prize the next day and I spent my entire prize, lol. This time, I decide to be smart. Decided to spend only part of my prize the next day. Spent 35% of it instead of 100%. No prize the next day, but at least this time I have 65% of the prize left for AFTER the contest. I won't be participating any more. In fact, if it wasn't for a few host friends that were really good at getting points, I would have never even played this contest, but I saw that I could get a lot of points fast for a relatively low cost so it seemed worth the gamble.
What makes me very upset though is that the main reason I won a prize is that these hosts helped me get a lot of points and so I went back to their room with my winnings to help them get points. (By the way, I posted the "ever notice" post and practice what i preach... nice to see more hosts and members are sharing than I had thought.) Between the hosts that helped me the two days I competed a lot, they won very little even though they had a lot of points. Fortunately, one of my other friends that I was helping won a big prize, but she wasn't the one that helped me get a lot of points. It was a few others and they walked away with almost nothing. I guess they got a lot of video, but it would have been nice to see them win after they helped me so much.
I am curious about all of this, though. I posted the "random" post above too before I saw this thread got posted. It definitely is seeming like it is better to get less points a lot of the time compared to other contests. Anyway, good luck to all.

Whilst I appreciate that English presumably isn't your first language, I really do think that the use of words like "pain" and "grief" is far too melodramatic for the context. I am sure if you take a walk around the streets you will see genuine pain and grief, and it won't take the form of people not winning a prize in a competition.

I pretty much understood what you said which is all the matters. Of course, after your last post, regardless of the language, I would encourage people to use periods ( . ) and to capitalize the first letter of each sentence, lol. (Sorry, I know you were upset, but I couldn't resist.)

Don't even worry about that. I enjoyed your post very much, and your choice of words made it more interesting. I like very much to see people from other languages use creative ways to express their feelings with the english words that they do know. i find it very refreshing.

I think many hosts and members are in your shoes and feel they have been taken advantage of and work so hard. The chance of winning is simple probability and statistics and not something against you. If you feel it is maybe you just need to relax some take a break from this and go for some english classes (haha... :) Couldn't resist. If you're in the top 50 all 5 days it increases your chances of getting one prize, so look forward to you being back on here pissed even more if you miss and if do get one then I look for you to apologize and give me a free show since I was right and you were wrong :)

Ever notice....
... that when a member wins a contest, hosts start to come to him to play with them, but when a host wins a contest, she usually doesn't return the favor by giving him free video or maybe even sending him a check in the mail? And this goes for hosts that the member didn't play much, or even at all, with. For example, a member could win and a friend that he didn't visit when he won will want him to now visit her. Well, fine.... If a host wins without a member's help but she is friends with that member, shouldn't she then still give him a free show or send him money? Isn't this fair too? Don't true friends, be them hosts or members, naturally want to share their good fortune?
Therefore, let's accept that members who are friends with hosts should try to always visit their host friends once they win a contest, and preferably during the contest too before they win. BUT the same should be true for hosts. They should also always give free shows and maybe even send money (which is what the member is basically doing when he visits a host) to their member friends whenever they win a contest, and for that matter, even if they don't win, since after all, the member tried to help the host so she should try to help the member. I am trying to work out how you know about all this behaviour by hosts. Every host I have played and helped in contest has given free or cheap videos to those who helped.

If I help a host or hosts it it because I CHOOSE to. If I wanted a free show I could most likely get one, but I don't help to get anything in return. I help because I want to. End of story.

contests are marketing tools for site...they serve to motivate hosts to work longer and give hosts something to do in pvt besides perform. I have chosen to play sometimes because special girl wanted to play...asking someone in that circumstance to perform for free would seem to undermine that relationship...if i was playing with a girl who was not so special to...as a business arrangement...i would set the rules before starting the game. Just my 2 cents

Since they are not allowed to chat in video, they can't be included in contest unless viewer desires to include them? And why would any viewer go to IA to chat?

I visited Crystalline in Instant Action. (Sometimes she is in Not So Shy, but if a guy wants a show, ultimately you would have the same issue after a few minutes.) She did her show and at the same time I was clicking letters. Always good to be able to multitask, lol. I also think that once again, you can wait and click letters at the end, contrary to a post awhile back.
Anyway, she did her show and then we figured out the clue together. Further, she didn't try to say anything like "Let's play the contest." She never mentioned it until I did. She stayed within the rules and waited for me to start talking about the contest and solving the puzzle.
Also note that some members don't ask for shows from hosts regardless of the category. The only problem would be if a second guy entered not so shy or instant action and just wanted a show while the first guy and the host were doing the contest. That could cause a problem since there is no rule that says giving priority to the first guy in video is okay. There are only rules that say that if a guy wants nudity, the host needs to strip so it would seem that nudity triumphs over chatting and contests, lol, for not so shy and instant action. Host can give passwords or the guy can go 121 to avoid any problems by the way.
I guess all is okay in the world.... Nudity always wins!!!

Its rather unlikely that would happen. The way the contests are structured the non adult and softcore hosts have a huge advantage as chatting and game playing are there strong suit.

It might be the case that a guy is more likely to want a show as one moves from glamour to instant action, but once again, guys will just chat with hosts regardless of the category. And I agree, that means that instant action hosts might be at a disadvantage in some ways but that all depends on the member. If he is spending $1,70/min or more and in a video for 20 mintues, he might as well turn some letters anyway if he is playing the contest. And if he is not playing the contest, then it really doesn't matter what category the host is in and maybe the IA host has an advantage since a guy who wants to avoid contests will just go to see her do her thing and if she says she wants to play the contest, he can just say, sorry, I am here for a show, leaving her no choice. In the end, IA hosts may attract the guys avoiding contests so maybe they benefit too. (sorry about the run on sentence,,, just lazy)

By the way, you might notice IA hosts cannot play hi-lo since a delayed strip obviously is contrary to the idea of "instant". But once again, plenty of members will just chat with IA hosts. They are people too.

Casa, thanks for u mentioned us.:D That made me smile. I dont post here much but i had to now. I am in IA many years already since i worked in the studio. That time i didnt care much where i am. After i tryed some other categories been in not so shy a little shy but i decided IA is fine for me and i am there so long and have many regulars there. I like to show off my body and still i have plenty of good friends too since i started on CC in IA and still haveing new there. I just wanted to say that some guys dont care about category much once they find some girl interesting to them they want to know her lil more. Its allowed to talk there. Sure if guy says \"hey, show\" i easully show. But if guy wants to talk and asks me what i like to do in real life for example i dont strip my lingerie off:D we easully keep talking :).... But its my opinion only.<br />

The forums allow for us to discuss the good and the bad. Sometimes there may seem more bad than good, but that is the case with most businesses. Usually, a business will hear more from those that are unhappy than those that are satisfied and the forums are no different. It is "human nature". Nevertheless, if the negative statements are phrased in a constructive manner, and if they are truthful, I see no problem with them. In fact, it allows for postive change.
In terms of jealousy, that too is human nature, but unless you want to do away with the forums, I have no idea how to keep personal feelings out of things here, or any place else for that matter. You can call upon people to be objective and mature, but that isn't always going to happen. And even if a negative point is overstated because of personal feelings, that doesn't mean that the underlying point of the comment is not true.
Finally, in terms of contests, I have won a few times, but I still could give you a list of problems that I have with the contests. Unfortunately, I don't really see an ideal way to do things so it comes down to having contests that are not perfect or not having any contests. CC is a business, and given that there are contests, they would seem to have decided that overall contests are a good thing. Further, nobody is forcing any host or member to participate. Many members stay away, but obviously enough stick around to make having contests worthwhile. Similarly, hosts can stay away too. Nobody is forcing a host to work if she works at home so she can choose contest time as a time to take a break. Even if she needs the money, she still probably takes breaks from CC so just take them at contest time. If she works in a studio, then she can ask her boss if she can have a break at contest and hopefully he will say yes. I think a more interesting observation, from which readers can draw their own conclusions, is that at noon today (UK time), 12 hours into the new day's competition, only 46 hosts from all the hundreds (1000s?) that must have been online during that period had any points, with number 46 just on the minimum 100 points.

It is not so surprising that the morning of the middle day of the contest is quiet. There have not been more than 1000 hosts on line over that time. What is also amazing is the AxB has already amassed about as many points today as she did during the whole of Day 1.

The day ends at 00:00 CC time. I believe that is 8:00 pm New York time, 1:00 am London Time, 3:00 am Bucharest time, 4:00 am Moscow time. (When daylight savings time is over and clocks are set back, subtract one hour from the times in these cities.) Points do not carry over to the next day.

It might be more fair if you could win only one prize a day, but if you don't allow people to win on certain days, why would they play that day? And if they don't play, that means less money for CC and for hosts.
Your real complaint is that some members have more money than others and some hosts are more popular at contest time than others. Such is life.
By the way, I believe that the top three point getters yesterday won a total of only $200 between them so everybody has a chance.

top 3 point getters for hosts that is... only one won prizes and that was $200 total. I think two of the top three members got a prize, but do you really want to do something that would discourage a member from playing or keep a popular host from working? That would make no sense from a business standpoint.

I was thinking about contests, it seems always the same hosts win the contests,.and always same hosts have many videos in contest.(but probably not many when no contest). They promise their fans free videos if they help them to win etc....I think its not very fair that some host are working infrequently and just.come online at contest time to get a bonus from cc by winning in contest. While many girls who are working here for many years, and are online everyday and bring to cc alot of money. Actually thousands of dollars each month.. Why are these high earning hosts hardly ever winning, or win only once a year. I think cc should reward thse girls who bring to them a lot of money during the year.and not only those who work from time to time i.e when contest. I know of hosts that earn USD2000-2500 per pay period that have never won in contest, surely this loyalty should also be recognised by cc.

Yes, there is that one notable exception, but I don't think that is a matter of fairness. If guys want to see her and she ends up first in points on a given day, that isn't her fault. After careful review of the winners list including Day 4, it is clear this contest is unfair when one host wins twice in the same day...and even with the same host name and category. There is something very wrong with the contest and how it is played to benefit those who primarily come here when there is a contest. And, yes, it is wrong that the members, if indeed they are regular CC members, is artificially pushing the hosts' standings -- collusion.

When you say it is unfair that a host wins twice on the same day do you mean that once a host has won won prize she should not be included in the draw for any other prizes or that the draw is in some way biased. And how are the members "artfifcially" pushing the hosts standings. The members are spending the money with the hosts and solving the puzzles so gaining the hosts points. Where is the artifiiciality? The host cannot solve the puzzles by herself so of course she depends on members to collude with her. Also most of the winners are on line quite regularly not only when there is a contest.

this is the way i see it. i understand you being unhappy about not winning contest. but from what i understand of some of the countries of the hosts who work on here, the average pay in those countries might be about $500 usd a month. if you are living in one of those countries, and if you are earning $2000-2500 usd on cc, what are you really complaining about? be thankful you are making 4-5 the average pay.

I suppose it depends what he means by pay period as I think hosts get paid every 2 weeks. So, I agree, it is hard to feel too much sympathy for a host that is earning that amount.of money (even if he means monthly).

Anyone else think that members' names, even if just 3 letters and then *** should not be included in the list? It isn't always hard for hosts to figure out who the member is even if just 3 letters appear, and that can lead to hosts getting annoyed or jealous that the member didn't play enough with them or the attitude that "well, u just won $1000... u should come use it with me." I had experiences like this in the past and think that it would be better to just say "member" when a member wins a prize.

In fact, sometimes I prefer it since it makes everything easier. But what you fail to realize is that some of us have host friends here that we are close to, and even if it is just an online friendship, some of our host friends can get jealous when we visit other hosts. It is only natural for that to happen at times depending upon the closeness of the relationship. Then, there are the hosts that have your attitude about not really caring about their members but for business purposes, act like they do and try to manipulate us into visiting them.
All of this could be avoided if winners were simply listed as "member". And for the person that wants to see where he stands, just like he can check his puzzle pieces, if there was a way that he could check his points and still list the top 50 scores without names, the issue of seeing where he stands would be taken care of too.

What you are really saying is that some members develop relationships with different hosts and may tell several that they are "special" to them. Showing the first letters of the members name means some hosts guess they are not the "special one" after all. These problems only arise if you are not honest. One way round this would be to register a new user name just for each contest.

My favorite cover pics are Casablancka and Crystalline. Casablancka is a beauty, and I like how her facial expressions make her seem like a beautiful, sexy goddess. Cyrstalline's pics are also very sexy.
As for the Legends, I like CallMeJolie and Gilisky. I've seen Casablancka, Crystalline and CallMeJolie in video, but I think I need to meet Gilisky too.
There were a few other covers and legends that I thought were pretty good, but I was a bit disappointed in many of them. And I also wish that whether cover or legend, pics were limited to 15. I think a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 would be best. Seeing a gallery of 40 or 50 pics, most of which look the same, serves no purpose, and I didn't even bother to look through all of them. Of course, if they were all hot pics, I might feel differently, lol, but unfortunately, this was not the case.

Thank you for those words.....there are some hosts that feel lost while others are in the spotlight during these contests. It doesn't mean that we aren't that beautiful but it seems like all the focus is on the ones that got the costumes, the photographer and will be on here 24 hours a day. Is it worth it to compete with that? It seems like the models that go through all that are the ones that benefit the most and so I choose to not even waste my time. After the contests there are a lot of frustrated members and then the girls go leave for vacation from their winnings. So thanks for acknowledging that there are many good hosts on here that don't get into all of it.

More and more, hosts are just using digital cams and having a friend take the pics. I know one cover that paid nothing for her pics and I don't think that she used photoshop, but she did have one nice outfit for $200, whereas in the past she may have paid $500 for the photographer and needed to buy a few dresses. Perhaps next time, she will need to take pics indoors with a professional photographer and buy more outfits depending upon what the topic of the contest is, but this time, it was very easy for anyone with a digital cam to go out into the woods and take a few nice pics. It isn't just about the photographer and having a lot of outfits all of the time. It is about the host's creativity, ability to pose, and her own beauty.

the host I know tells me what she goes through to take pics so I know exactly what goes on behind the scenes... at least for her. Moreover, in a recent contest, one cover used vacation pics that had been in her gallery a long time so there again is an example of not necessarily needing to go through a lot to take pics. It really depends on what the host chooses to do, and in the age of digital cameras, it is not always the case that it costs a lot to make pics that are good enough to be a cover. Moreover, my point was simply to reply to a post that seemed to be saying that it takes a lot of money to get top pics to be a cover, and I was saying, yes, some hosts do that, but they don't always do that and can still be covers. This current contest shows that anyone with a digital cam had a decent shot to be a cover or a legend.

The quality of her pics compared to other hosts' pics for this competition is similar. There is no appreciable difference. And I happen to think that she looks great in just about every one of her pics this contest, and that her pics are probably better than most of the other lovers and legends. In terms of comparing her pics this contest to those where she obviously uses a professional photographer, I think the professional pics might look better in some ways, but her natural beauty comes through much better with the non-professional pics. I guess it depends what type of pics you like.

Actually, if you really want to go into the economics of it, your taxes are more likely to increase if all the smokers were to give up and live to a ripe old age: both in respect of the increased state pension requirement and in the treatment of enduring age-related diseases, rather than the expensive but shorter and more terminal smoking related ones.

It does seem like hosts are always under scrutiny here......good grief we are all real people and in our own homes. That is what so many members enjoy because we are interactive, real, happy and wanting please you! In other sites where there is not forums members just make the choice to find a host that has the qualities that best fit their liking....there are plenty to choose from! Here it seems that any nitpicky thought that pops into ones brain all of sudden becomes a major source for discussion.....
Find the ones you enjoy and quit trying to scrutinize the qualities that you don't like. You don't see the hosts criticizing the members here other than the general annoyances that are disrespectful.
Complaining about smoking when it is in no way harmful to you is just ridiculous when there is such a huge variety. I'm starting to believe that men are never satisfied when this is probably the closest that the majority of members will come to perfection in real life interaction with the girls that are this beautiful and willing to please your fantasies and desires.
Maybe if the men here could turn on the machine and put a quarter in and mold their perception of what a perfect girl would be and then push a button and have her pop out nude into their lap and not cost dime they would be pleased finally or maybe that wouldn't be good enough either.......

Great point. When such a machine exists we will love it for a day, then the complaints will be that it takes too long and too complicated to make the selections, too long for the girl to be created and pop out, and worse of all that she won't just pop back into the machine when we are "done" with her!!!

But she hasn't been on since January. She was a VERY nice woman, and beautiful, too.
I had no problems at all paying her $3 / minute rate.
I've never seen her discussed on here and I wonder if anybody has any info on her. I'd simply like to wish her well...

This site's shy hosts must more honest than others
OK many of us, including me, have been critical of Glamour/Shy hosts. But I was on another site I go to the last 2 days and and even when you get a message in 2 places to click for nude show with nudity, you don't get it. And the site replies saying it is non nude category even though it is there message displayed, that say click here for nude show.
And unlike CC, there are no public forums like this one. So in many ways cc and hosts has much to be proud of. Its not perfect and there is room for improvement. But it is far better than some other sites I have been to.

CC is the best! Unfortunately the forums bring comments that are easily critical without any consideration for the total picture. Would
be nice to hear more positive comments in the forums like yours.
There is no comparison between CC and the other sites....it is much
more personal, is very reasonable, has great categories for all and

Has a viewer's cam ever been shut down?
I have read all of the rules the hosts must follow and what they are allowed to show on cam. I have had hosts tell me they had their cams shut off by cc while in restricted videos. I have also heard from about some of the weird things they have seen viewers do on their cams. The only thing cc says in their Terms & Conditions of Use is the following
4.3 Many of the Chathosts advertised on the Web Site also provide additional facilities, namely CamToCam (Two-way video, which enables the Chathost to see Viewers if they are using a web cam) and Sound (enabling the Chathost to broadcast audio to the Viewer). In each case, however, this shall be deemed as an 'added bonus' to the standard Web Site service, meaning that the Company cannot guarantee that these two extra features are offered by all Chathosts, nor that they will function perfectly in every instance.
Nothing about what is allowed or not allowed on viewer cam. So going by that a viewer's cam could never be shut off. Well except by maybe the host.

You should have waited until she was on desrt or coffee then you could have simply offered her some extra cream.

well, assuming the member is himself liable for what he shows on cam, whereas the host AND CC are liable for what the host shows on cam, I'd say that CC has no jurisdiction or say over the members' cam. However, the CC is liable for proof of age verification and hosts are under contract with CC, so CC must maintain control over what the host shows...so that nothing illegal is done.

I agree but have been to one site, which I can not mention, that does have restrictions for viewer cams. And they are very restrictive.

I keep seeing these posts about meeting hosts, was wondering if anyone had met any of the staff from cc. Also do any members know each other in the real world?
