I don't cheat; never have, never will.
However this is similar, I'd imagine to a man who hits a woman; says he's oh so sorry, then does it again; and so the cycle continues.
Both are slimeballs. He will never leave, because for whatever pathetic reason, he enjoys the process, and so it will continue.
Therefore, it is best if she leaves him; however this is often easier said than done for any number of reasons.
If this is not just hypothetical, best of luck to whoever is involved.

Sad but true. It takes years to build trust and a second to lose it forever. Unless you get a REALLY good reply to the question "Why did you do it?" (and I can't imagine a lot of replies that would change my mind) he isn't someone who has cheated just once: he's a cheater and nothing indicates that he has changed. So get out. Ask yourself this: is a person who cheats on you really worthy of your love? Don't you deserve better than that?

I say it is emotional cheating. We have 'sex in the mind' here. But to be fair then it is cheat on both sides. Host and Member.
While you cheat you put everything to the risk. One of the worst things you can do to a relationship. But even worse would be to not tell and live with a lie and discomfort of detection every single second.

I am married, I love my wife, we have good sex, I want to stay married, but I still cheat. I "cheat" her on CC and I cheat with real women when I can. Why do I do it? Beacuase I am a normal man. As I said, I've never cheated, and never will. I would cut off my foot before I'd cheat on my gf or wife, and many of my friends are exactly the same way.
Some time ago, there was a post I responded to, asking about first time happy marriages, anyone know of any. Of my close long time friends, I knew of Nine of them. Of the common ingredients I mentioned, at the top of the list was loyalty. None of those people are or were cheaters.
There were only 2 couples that got divorced...so that's 11 couples total...9 very loyal and happy...2 divorced...of the 2 that got divorced the reason for one, sure enough was cheating.
So there you have it. There Are a number of good people out there...they don't cheat...ever... and they are quite happy. Keep looking, you'll find someone like that.

i think about the 'repeatedly': what if like a one time mistake and not 'intentionally'? talk about what you did or hide?

I cannot see physical harm worse than emotional harm.
Physical wounds heal easily. Physical violence especially if inflicted by men is an unthoughtful first inadequate response. Often caused by lack of control over a situation and a feeling of being overwhelmed and helpless. Fight or flight. So pure physical harm in the heat of the moment is explainable and you can find excuses and ways to redeem.
Another story is the combination and the emotional pain coming with physical violence. But this is also without method and will not cause any deep going memories and damage.
Emotional violence on the other hand more often is planned black-hearted and wounds heal if ever slowly and stick. They change the view on trust forever.
I think your bias originates from the fact that overall women are physically weaker than men and therefore are helpless to physical violence.
If you happen to be endangered being weak for a moment then you can always be weak for a moment. So your partner would live in constant doubt. That already contributes to violence since it puts uncertainty and fear into your partner.
To do something with the self betraying excuse that your partner wouldn't find out is even worse since it even puts methodology into your black-hearted foul deeds and drives.
With cheating you betray and break an emotional bond built on trust and love. Or what is left of it. In any case your partner deserves to know and talk about it before you start with the betrayal. And if you cheat you should be that your relationship is not valuable to you anymore and be pretty sure that what you have or had is definitely over.
Just try not to cheat and rather stick to CamContacts. With your partners knowing in detail and accepting what you offer or what services you pay for.

Hey. Thanks for sharing that. I haven't been physically abused, nor have I hit a woman and never will...I also am not a cheater. Even so, when I read wordofreason's post i said, that Can't be accurate, No Way. So I thought I should say something.... then I read yours...dead on what I was thinking in general, with really deep specific insights based on your actual experiences and very, very well put. Certainly better than what I could have said; particularly...fortunately for me...not having direct experience.

I actually like your post. Complicatedly but logically expressed. Perhaps you have some life experience.
Life is bloody difficult. I had many non-serious relationships and then I was cheated on- it still did hurt to a degree- not too bad.
I believe when you start relationships- you are never too serious, you flirt etc. At least when you are young and don't meet via a marriage agency with the agreement to marry. And I found out that while I was on the first stages not serious but faithful, my ex bf-s were even less serious- cold-blooded cheaters.
I have no idea - do men have different logic in general or I was with the certain same type of wrong men?
Now I am less young and cannot say anymore- I am sooo innocent, I have no idea how relationships function and can better distinguish good and bad people. And still relationship developments astonish me sometimes...- what should you look at when "choosing a partner?..."

I don't ask this questtion; however another possibility that makes alot of sense: the question is asked in order to get a feel of how well the the person speaks english. Reason for that being: is that for many viewers, if a host has poor english, or has to use a translator, it really detracts from the show.
