Well I would start by saying that everyone has different meanings for cheating. Some would say flirt is cheating. Others kissing. It also depends on the person. What would you say about movie stars kissing in a movie even though the are married. Or about porn stars. For me, I would never forgive my gf if I saw her having sex. Kissing is also cheating for me. Basically anything that brings those emotional feelings being emotionally close to a signifcant other I can not forgive (like the feelings a person gets having sex with a person they love or feelings when you kiss that person). Flirting I let that go, as long as it does not go further than that.

a couple of thoughts:

If a host is in open session then she is in vid so she then might have several conversations going at once. this is usually obvious after a while so then I will say i'll come back later.

the host might not talk good english and has to use a translator. this is a problem and very frustrating.

I know many hosts sleep 'on the job' but they can pause the vid. I feel sorry for them as they never get a decent night's sleep but I have left a room because it is costing money while you wait.

these are only small problems really.

Valid observations Hake, but what I would like to add is don't be so sure that a delay in replying is because the host has no time for you. A lot of the new hosts here have a poor command of English and quite literally everything needs to be translated. Alas, the CC chat room does not allow for cutting and pasting of dialog and so quite often if you say something the host might have to type out exactly what you said into their translator, translate it, then copy the answer back to you. This all takes time.I am not saying this always happens, but certainly it does occur and is worth bearing in mind.

Judging a hosts grip on the English language is a bit of a challenge in itself. I have known plenty of hosts over the years who have seemingly good English when you type to them but will not understand a single thing when spoken to. Remember, English is very rarely a first language for a lot of foreign girls, though they do do their best and do quite well I find. Certainly I have never had a problem talking to anyone and I freely admit my English is not always the easiest to understand ;)

For the record though, hosts without an archive gets thumbs down from me. It does not have to be huge, or even explicit. Varied, creative and interesting shows effort and will give a host many more Kudo's in my book.. That is.. if anyone was particularly interested what I thought ;)

I don't know CC's rules about hosts leaving their rooms empty, but one possible solution for annoyance #1 might be if the host made up a little sign and left it in plain view of the camera so that the member could read it in her absence. Perhaps something like "I went to freshen up for you, but I promise that I'll be back in "X" minutes. Thanks for waiting for me." Be sure to write the exact GMT time when you leave on this note so that the member will know how much longer he would have to wait for you. When you return, if you find a member waiting for you in your room, you will know that he was really interested in visiting with you. If you let him know how much you appreciated his patience and reward him with a little extra kindness because he waited, I would guess that by the end of your chat session he wouldn't even remember the minor delay in the beginning. I know I probably wouldn't.
