RE: To a Friend
I been here for long time a go, reading the forums almost everyday, also your recent posts. Seems like your friend pass some terible moments, i saw my mother dieying of cancer after two long years of pains and tears, i really hope your friend will be healed. Ignore these phatetic people who have nothing better to do ,but making fun about such a sad thing. Keep praying for your friend, i will do the same. Cheers!
RE: To a Friend
thanks older one--i dont paid no attention to these people here that want to make fun of something that is real,, and yes thanks for the prayers she will appreciate them-cool
RE: To a Friend
but you must have had my email! why announce your gallantry and my problems on the public forum other than to make yourself look "gallant and caring." a private email or message would have been more appreciated.
RE: To a Friend
You sound jealous and phatetic! The message wasnt for you, was for someone who will never reply in this maner. As long he didnt posted any name here, why are you so upset? Get a damn life and leave this guy alone, he have all the rights to post wherever he want, no need your permision. Is more easy to jump on someone, to cover him with your bad words, than to offer your moral support to someone in needs, dont you? This is his way to show his feelings and his affection, whats wrong with that? At least he didnt insulted anyone here, but your comment show just lack of respect. Poor you, i feel so much compassion for people like you!
RE: To a Friend
thanks humm, but "From a friend" is right, I should have sent a message to her privately. Sometimes my ego and need for adulation gets in the way of good intentions.
RE: To a Friend
If you're going to try and impersonate someone at least make the effort to copy their style you fool.
RE: To a Friend
the only thing we can do its to keep her on our prayers, lets hope that chemo and radiotherapy will save her.
RE: To a Friend
you better thx to God that you and your family are in a good health, it was just someone sending a message.
RE: To a Friend
thanks humm for you kind words, but you dont have to get this person writing above calling hisself "from a friend" anything else to think about.,,, and yes to you from a friend i do darn care about this friend and I have many friends out their that has cancer, so now spend your time now trying to figure out which one,,, oh wait why dont you try to get some friends to care about or better yet try to pray every now and then about a love one in your life that might need some caring or better yet if it bothers you that much why do you take the time to read this if you not a caring person,, I dont care what you think,, wait oh yes I do--I forgive you--stay cool
RE: To a Friend
no one is saying dont be a friend, prayers, listen, care....the question is why announce it on a sex forum site? why not send your carign words directly to the people affected...chaser never addresses this.....why? because he needs the public adulation, ........."aren't you a caring man chaser, muuuuahhhh!"
RE: To a Friend
here is a multiple choice question, in the real world (non-cyber sex chathost sites) when you have a friend or family member who is sick and you want to comfort or console them do you:
a) when you see them sitting on the other side of a restaurant, call across the restaurant so that all the other patrons here your consoling words and details about the other's illness.
b) call them on the telephone to console them but insist on a conference call so that all your other friends can hear how caring you are.
c) Call, write, visit, and care in a quiet, unassuming way that doesnt draw attention to YOURSELF.

RE: To a Friend
oooo just expressing his feelings??? great, then here are my feelings "older one" , consider it an intervention, you all need to step away from the computer and get lives away from sex site. fantasy cyber "friends." Just expressing my feelings! As the song goes "O, o o feelings, again in my heart!"
RE: To a Friend
grandpa, this is the only post i have ever posted to....it was just one too many postings of saccharine sweet hallmark cyber feelings. Any more pearls of wisdom from you?
RE: To a Friend
I think what you really meant to say was this was only my first post in this thread using this name.
RE: To a Friend
good grief you that need a friend you must have no idea about people's life (and by the way it doesnt bother me of the crap you say--about me,,but it seems to bother others here) : if it does bother you that much get over it quit reading my post,,,, she said was right,,, no wonder she didnt want to tell others about this on here,, because she did say she would probably get bad comments from people like you,,,,,,and yes I do tell her on yahoo,,,and if you dont like that either get over that too if you can,and I know this is a cyber place and I am a member here too and I can post this struff where ever I want to,,, so get over dude and again when you see my name here in the post quit reading it and keep your negative comments to your own friends.
opps now im have to ask for your forgiveness--sorry if I got under your skin--stay cool

RE: To a Friend
seems what i say does bother you, you wrote a rambling 10 line response......stay cool (hmmm didn't i read that on a Hallmark card?)
RE: To a Friend
ahh so you did write her in yahoo also, good for you, so in the multiple choice above you would have chosen (a) and (c)
RE: To a Friend
i not going to leave my name here, i like the other idiots here afraid to, but i have a girl friend here on cc as a host and has breast cancer, can you all pray for her. some people just dont get it they love make negative comments about somebody caring for someone
Why sometimes
Some girls you can laugh, have fun with and talk about anything. You can see them when they are sexy and when the just get out of bed..Why is it you can only be friends?
RE: Why sometimes
xoxo just be happy you can be friends....i always remember a saying here in the south: buddies are easy to find and have, but they will turn on you and all kind of bad things when it comes down to something you need. Friends are rare and special treaurse them when you can and its ok to laugh and cry with them, I thank the good man upstairs for sending friends my way--stay cool and enjoy the times together.
RE: Why sometimes
cool saying chaser and yes we use it a lot here in Georgia too,, some people cant belive our sayings are long;;;do you remember this one: when you feel down and out call a friend to cheer you up, when you need money call a buddy up and say hey when are you going to pay be back the money you borrowed (the diffrence between a buddy and friend also) friends will always pay you back and buddies well you have to look then up
RE: Why sometimes
sorry hmmm,,, dont know what you mean,,, i dont know a hmmm,, (are you a buddy or friend-just kidding hehe) but anyway its just a saying---stay cool and have a great day my friend to be
RE: Why sometimes
"No man can be just friends with a woman that he finds attractive. He will always be wishing to have sex with her. The sexual tenions will always be there. The friendship is doomed to failure, and that is the end of that story."

Hey, not sure if this quote always holds true, but based on my own observations so far, it at least hold true very often.

RE: Why sometimes
Yes it was one of Billy Crystal's lines in a conversation with Meg Ryan about men and women being friends in the movie "When Harry Met Sally"... a Nora Ephron film.
RE: Why sometimes
Thanks, Captain...I was actually looking for a Norwegian folk saying when I stumbled on that quote by Ephrin....did not know it was from when Harry met Sally. The saying I was searching for (but could not find) says something like..."Friendship often leads to love, but love never ends in friendship."
New category
Anyone else in favour of a new category. ie actually at home and not in a studio?
RE: New category
Why is home better? I mean I have an idea it has to be better. The host can be more open and alter her prices and all that. But it is a turn on just to know the girl is alone at home?
RE: New category
At home i have not boss and can do only whats i want:)) And sure, i have not other girls around:)))
Russia
Having visited Russia last week. I am quite shocked by how many bears walk the streets. The cheek of it is unbelievable.
Be careful on your travels.
Be careful on your travels.
RE: Russia
I was there about a month ago and saw a few bears too. Of course, not in St Pete or the busiest places in Moscow. If you go to the poorest towns and cities you'll see these beasts. You have to be with someone that knows where these beasts roam, otherwise you'll end up as a nice lunch.
RE: Russia
better to have bears walking along the streets than arrogant monkeys driving their cars
RE: Russia
i just copy and paste mah messages in "chathost forums"...!
I heard that no bears in Russia so maybe its just a big tigers walking around Russian cities freely?whats do yah think Russian gals...?hugzzz!!!
RE: Russia
I have seen the caged bear 'Masha' in the Yaroslavl Kremlin and a teeny bear cub outside the Hermitage in St Petersburg. The latter seemed very happy being photographed with a plentiful supply of bottled milk on hand from its owner.
The former looked well pissed off at being in a cage
The former looked well pissed off at being in a cage
RE: Russia
Happens in the US too, there was a family of bears that frequented the roadside by our house where I grew up in New York. Obviously that wasn't NYC, but from looking at the recent DJIA it appears the bears are ruling Wall Street.
RE: Survey #1
From a girl walking on the street? Or a "date" arranged with a girl from the newspaper?
RE: Survey #1
On the street 20 bucks but your dick will fall off in a couple of days. An asian massage parlor it is like 60-100 dollars but that includes a massage and they are clean. For a high class call girl from 150-300 dollars an hour and up. You can get a blow job in that hour or suck her toes. Whatever turns you on.
Survey
"dog" makes a vital distinction. Price is function of a number of things. Women who trick on the streets are generally cheaper here (U.S.), $20--$60, but a more 'uptown' woman, working for an escort service, can earn $100-$500 for a "date."......But now for the joke:
A nun goes to confession and says to the priest, "Bless me Father, for I have sinned...Father,” she says with hesitation, "I gave a man a blow job." The naive, elderly priest responded, "What's a blow job sister?" “Oh Father,” she said, "$25, same for you as anyone else."

RE: Survey
If you see a girl from the street don't have only $20 notes in your pocket. ALWAYS have $5 notes instead, so you can bargain better. If you only have 2 $20 she won't give change.
RE: what is love for you?
Love is a game...so let's play it fair!(lol)...love yah all!hugzzz!!!
RE: what is love for you?
there are as many types of love as there are days in a year.true love to me is when you put that person or person's life before yours.
dear "IcePrinc3ss"
I miss chatting with you from time to time. I will be visiting your city soon and though I am old and fat, I'd love to have a coffee with you and sit close and see if there is any warth possible between us.
RE: what is love for you?
I heard this answer many years ago given by a 7 year old when asked the same question. her answer was" It is a feeling you have, you can't live without" While I doubt she was applying it to a male / female relationship, I would have to say her answer is about as good as I have heard.
RE: what is love for you?
after missing this definition with some painful results I can I honestly confess to only one true love - PIZZA
RE: what is love for you?
Whats about CC ? Whats you prefer here. Love or cum?...I am only confused:)))))) why here we all speak about love, but first words in video--go naked
RE: what is love for you?
The absence of lonliness. The feeling that no matter what you have something that will outlast any problems. The sense of being complete with another. The desire to be better for the other person. To get laid.
RE: what is love for you?
I realize I'm in love when I meet 2 conditions. First I consistantly put what they want and/or what is good for us ahead of what I want or I think is good for me. Secondly I find myself not asking myself if I love them, because the answer is so obvious asking the question is pointless.
Are you vegetarian, vegan or meat lover. Do you eat enough fruit and veg?
yes you can put an answer too :)
RE: Are you vegetarian, vegan or meat lover. Do you eat enough fruit and veg?
I only eat vegtables and fruits in summer. And i dont wanna anyth else)
RE: Are you vegetarian, vegan or meat lover. Do you eat enough fruit and veg?
I love meat, have fish and chicken twice during the week...i used to hate most veggies when i was lit.but i like to try new things and now i love eating veggies...Hugzzz!!!
i
thought a vegetarian was a vegan.
i eat both plants and dead animals. i dont eat enough fruits tho.
and im going to try for only organics as much as possible.

RE: i
A lot of vegitarians don't drink regular milk bought in the store, the Vitamin D it's usually fortifide with comes from fish oils. I knew a dairy farmer who had a vegitarian commune among his regular customers so they didn't get any additives in the milk.
RE: Are you vegetarian, vegan or meat lover. Do you eat enough fruit and veg?
Why do you want to know ????
RE: Are you vegetarian, vegan or meat lover. Do you eat enough fruit and veg?
I try to eat high protein. Lots of beef, chicken and turkey. Vegetables and salads are a big part of my diet. Carbs are the killer. Rice, pasta, breads, potato, sugar. I try to avoid them. Some light beer now and then or I would go crazy. You have to eat lean to stay lean. And exercise your buns off. I am amazed how many girls here have such tight bodies and don't spend a second in a gym. Good genetics I guess.
RE: Are you vegetarian, vegan or meat lover. Do you eat enough fruit and veg?
Its funny u say carbs are the killer, in the 90's people couldn't get enough carbs lately its no carbs, next year its some thing else. Just eat fresh stuff and not too much, and exercise :P

RE: do u belive that it is possible to love one man for all life?
Of course, but it is not automatic. Both members of the couple must work at it concientiously.
One thing to remember is that there is not only one single possible soulmate in the world. There is a one "soulmate-type" for each of us and this is what we need to find. In my 35 years I have found what I count to be 3 examples of "my type" girl. One of them was here in CC.

As a hetereosexual male the answer is no.

As long as we don't take anything or anyone for granted...anything is possible!

RE: do u belive that it is possible to love one man for all life?
the majority of us are young women.. how can we tell if it is possible, I can tell you if you come to ask me after 40-50 years lol
RE: do u belive that it is possible to love one man for all life?
i know a few women like that.
RE: do u belive that it is possible to love one man for all life?
It is why I said love is not automatic. People who "drift apart" let themselves drift apart... on or the other or both. A relationship must be natured and protected and defended..
RE: do u belive that it is possible to love one man for all life?
If "love" to you is merely chasing the feeling of "heaven" then your life will be reduced to series of "heavenly encounters."
RE: do u belive that it is possible to love one man for all life?
This is why you should not dive into romantic encounters too early in life. If you have not yet reached a level of maturity to know what you want, how can you hope to find lasting love. Of course, many are not concerned with lasting love, only with the nest week or two.
RE: do u belive that it is possible to love one man for all life?
I can't respond from a female perspective insofar a "one man" is concerned but I do have a thought on love and one person for life..Also, I am not sure if you are applying the term loving one person to marriage or a promise of life commitment. For the sake of this response , I will assume you are and share my thoughts on your question with that in mind. I will also assume there is no mental or physical cruelty involved. Yes,,, I do think a person can love one person for life. This thought is not to imply the love would translate to having that person satisfy each an every need you might have for life, as most certainly they will not. Love involves more than attraction and passion. The potential for falling in love with another always exists. Can perceived needs, lust, boredom or selfishness override honor and character? I am sure they can and often do. The reasons why would require a thesis to define and then would leave room for more. The answer is simply, "It depends on the individuals".
RE: do u belive that it is possible to love one man for all life?
It's something a person has to work at. Some people manage a lifetime of love. My parents were married for 48 years; they would have been married longer had my father not passed away.
RE: do u belive that it is possible to love one man for all life?
As the resident old guy here I will have to tell all of you youngsters here that love can indeed last a lifetime if you are fortunate enough to find your one true love.Fact
RE: do u belive that it is possible to love one man for all life?
How can you ask this? Whatever happened to "Me love you long time?" (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

Advice on Resume for job in US as waitress
Hi - an ex-host I know has asked me to help her with her resume as she is hoping to go to work as a waitress etc on a cruise ship in America. She is Eastern European - but has been waitressing in Western Europe since she stopped being a host about 2 years ago.
I have looked on a few sites about resumes in America (I am English) but the ones I see all seem to be for more "high-powered" jobs and I am not really sure what someone employing a waitress who has been a waitress for a few years is going to be looking for in terms of making her resume stand out from other ones - without making it look ridiculous in terms of unlikely achievements within her job.
Thanks in advance for any helpful answers :)
Even a cc mail with a link to a site where you can see other people resumes online for similar types of jobs would be great

She should highlight her experience with dealing with people from different cultures from her online "translation" job to her years of dealing with multinational tourists in the service industry.

RE: Advice on Resume for job in US as waitress
I think if you are willing to do the work for poor pay in tight quarters and you speak reasonable English and you have the money and the ability to get a visa you may have a shot. Last cruise I was on was loaded with little dark haired Romanian girls. Of course most cruises leave from the US and travel to other places. You really don't spend much time in the USA. Most cruise lines are also non-american. Good luck.
RE: Advice on Resume for job in US as waitress
I don't like the sound of the poor pay or tight quarters much - but I am member and it was a query on behalf of an ex-host (who, yes, is a dark haired romanian).
The question was more about what Americans would expect to see on a resume for someone applying for a job as a waitress - because all the example resumes I seem to find online are for graduates in business who have done impressive internships and projects, not served food and drinks and washed up plates

RE: Advice on Resume for job in US as waitress
Well in talking to some of the girls they were not paid well at all but they received their room. board, medical care while on board ship. They lived in small cabins (2-4 to a cabin) inside the ship very low down. No portholes. Again they go to go ashore at some of their stops in the islands and mexico but they would leave the USA on a Saturday afternoon and return the following saturday morning. Most of the staff was working on preparing for the next group of tourists. So I doubt any of them were able to leave the ship in the US at all. But they were kids and they said they were having fun and saving money for home. On a resume I guess if I had some waitress experience particularly in banquet service (large trays), again a good knowledge of English, perhaps some wine experience though they have people trained for that specifically. I would think good health, a good work ethic, abilty to work well without much supervision, a team player, customer service oriented, friendly, able to follow instructions, things like that would be good in a resume. Good luck.
WAKE UP, "uamazeme"
He doesn't mention a word about visiting the USA, he wants to know how to formulate. Why he answers your empty message and seems to ignore my direct answer to his question is beyond me.
It doesn't manage what flags are on the ships, most of them are owned and/or managed by American companies. As for the pay, the workers depend on tips and more than several of the service crew (both sexes) are trolling for romance (or appreciated affection).

thanks - i did look at your links - the first one was very useful, though the second has the same problem i have found that examples always seem to be for people after the better jobs rather than the more menial ones.
I answered the other question first just to correct the apparent misunderstanding to avoid having the whole thread diverted away from my question

RE: thanks, the counselor
You are over-thinking the concept.
You're supposed to use the sample resumes for their *look* and general feel. If she has only a high school diploma then simply substitute that for the BS. Substitute her waitressing for work experience/computer skills. If she did *anything* of a supervisory nature, even casually or temporarily then put that under "Related Experience." If she was ever Employe of the Month or anything like that, including awards in school, mention that.
Use your imagination man, she's not applying to replace Putin or Blair, she wants to ne a freaking crusie ship waitress.

i would
look at her cover letter more then job experiences.
she would be better of saying a little about herself, but keep it simple, things like 'like to travel and i am a people person'' is meaningless. a waitress must be a people person if her prior experience waitressing lasted more then a few months at past jobs.
as for the like to travel, she will get to see many places on a cruise ship, however, while in port she is expected to work prepping everything for the guests. not sightseeing. if i saw that in a resume i would think more that she will rush through her tasks doing a poor job so that she can finish early to go on land shopping or so.
just my opinion.

Rocks in Bridgeport
Prelude to the story:
A guy entered to my text chat and we chatted about our countries. Then somehow we moved to chat about costs of living, etc.
Story itself:We started to compare some prices. And I asked him:"Ok, for example, how much does it approximatelly cost 2 roomed flat in your town (Bridgeport)?".
2 roomed flat by russian standard is a flat in a house which has 1 kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 common living room.
And he said he didn't know cos noone has his own flat in Bidgeport.I was amused:" how come? Are you kidding?".And he said that everyone there rents.Renting is more comfortable. Then he said that my question is like a question:"Do you know the price for Rock on Mars?".He said that they didn't sell the things like the marsian Rocks there so He couldn't tell me the price for 2 roomed flat in his town. The same way they don't sell flats there so my question is not correct, it is from the category about marsian rocks.
I was a bit confused how come the whole town and everyone only rents; noone lives in his own flat.Anyway someone should have his own flat at least the landlords.Or not?Well here some rent, others buy or have ther ow flats:-s
Final Question: Does anyone know if they really don't sell and don't buy flats in Bridgeport(US) and all live there only renting?
A guy entered to my text chat and we chatted about our countries. Then somehow we moved to chat about costs of living, etc.

RE: Rocks in Bridgeport
people own their own flats, but the most recognized term is own their own "condo"
RE: Rocks in Bridgeport
Yes, and in American English, the typical flat is usually called an apartment.
RE: Rocks in Bridgeport
Bridgeport is one of the poorest cities in the state of Connecticut. Its an old industrial city but manufacturing left and was never replaced.
There is lots of unemployment and poverty there.
As was stated ownership of a flat (apartment) is usually in the form of ownership called a condominium (condo) which means you only own from the walls inward and everything else (outside walls, parking, etc) is owned in common and there is a monthly charge to maintain it. Many condos are investor owned and rented out.
A single house on the other hand is 100% owned by the individual.
$500-600 a month rent of a condo is a reasonable estimate.
If you want actuals go to Yahoo real estate or craigs list and do a search on Bridgeport Connecticut.

I see many of the respondents do not live in the Washington DC area.
My 1 bedroom apartment is $1,100 per month. And I chose that apartment complex because it was CHEAP!!

RE: Rocks in Bridgeport
That's why I said to name the area. Older-style apartments in working-class neighborhoods in St. Louis might be about $400.
it sounds like
your ''flat' is something commonly known in the usa as an apartment they are rented monthly or yearly.
same discription can be called a condominium those or bought an sold. in my area of massachusetts an apartment(one bedroom) costs aprox $900 month. the condo goes for$ 150.000. thats for the one bedroom , 2 or 3 BR costs much more.
lastly, there are bridgeports all over usa, it is a city name not a state so as for that related question i cant say for sure. but the few bridgeports i know of are richer areas so most common ppl wouldnt afford any loft there.
hope thats helpful gorte

Age Difference - Nice Age!
How many older men here really believe that Russian women actually prefer a big difference in age?
Of course if you are buying video time, then the words “nice age” translates into you can afford to buy a video session. If you only desire conversation and spiritual support then age does not matter.
I went to “Russian acquaintance Site” and did some research of my own. Clearly as I examined the profiles of many Russian women they are not searching for much older men. The largest difference is age is usually about 10 years. Most look for a partner near their own age.
So where did this myth originate that Russian woman prefer much older men?

So true....age doesn't matter though in away. The only thing matters in a relationship is the love and respect you get from each other.Hugzzz!!!
RE: Age Difference - Nice Age!
I can't answer for others but I'll say what I think concerning the issue.
First of all I have never chosen the one to fall in love with like:
"Should I fall in love with X?Let's calculate the age difference between us.Oh 11 yo.No I won't fall in love with him cos the age difference is 1 yo more than 10."
I have never fallen in love with age.And I would definatelly not fall in love with someone on the base of thought like:".I must fall in love with anyone who is 5 years older than me."
I remember when I fell in love for the first time I didn't even know our age difference.Cos I fell in love with the person, not with his age.

Of course were mostlty older men that are agreeing with you but nicely said!! AS your thoughts??
RE: Age Difference - Nice Age!
xoxo, you know my thoughts on this one, but to summarise...When we fall in love, nothing else should matter...Why let something like age difference stand in the way of happiness? Still, it happens....

I think you have other problem. Not your age...And with this words some have begun to distrust in their feeling. So you can offend people, who have real good relations and have different age.
So ...you know it, but say it..
And i think you problem not Age.May be you need to think more about fells other people.

RE: Age Difference - Nice Age!
Age diffrence is, oh I dunno, up to the individual, Its a known fact that wimmen is more mature than men, so a woman is usualy younger than his man. I a girl is 20 and the guy is 30,, Where is the problem,, both is mature as a 25 year old in many cases. hehe. I once had a friend,, he was 40 and then he got togheter with a16 year old girl. She was more mature than any 20 year old I seen, but still,, that was something sick. I was ashamed of him. anyways,, he was and is an assh**
I am 31, I look 22 and feel 22, still have my inner child. I dont fit with a girl that is to "grown up". I guess many wimmen in my age wont agree with me.
I set my own limmit by not dating any under 20.

RE: Age Difference - Nice Age!
40 - 16? She would have to be a VERY special 16 year old.
In fact, though they are great to look at and maybe for some quick fun, I don't care to try a relationship with such a young girl.
I'm 55 and my preference is a girl who has had some life experiences to add to her mature attitude.
I don't think I would consider a serious relationship with a girl that wasn't in her late 20s. Of course, that's theory and anything can happen.

RE: Age Difference - Nice Age!
It's not the chronological age of either party, but the personalities of those involved.
We all have known 40 year old with no focus or vision of life that had the emotional age of 18 year olds and we have known 18 year olds who could shame a 40 year olds with the depth and intensity of their souls.
It is the person's actions and attitude that determine "age." Who is "younger": someone who goes to a disco once in a while, does sport several times a week and knows how to smile or someone who doesn't care about the future, always is selfish with a foul attitude and is rude to everyone?
I found a simplistic "psychological test" here: http://www.thedollpalace.com/iq/index.php?manual_article_id=15

For me the age difference is not much of a problem...So Long As The Person Is NOT A MINOR UNDER THE AGE OF CONSENT!!!!!!...in USA it's considered Statutory Rape

Why? Do you think you could have done it any faster? In which case, why are you not earning a top notch IT salary instead of spending all your time regurgitating snippets of the internet and passing them off as your own?
Unless you have been a top sys admin looking after a cluster of servers I don't think you have any experience to judge how long technical problems should take to sort out.
