yeah the routine itself is basically the same no matter which girl you pick... but it is necessary. it has been fun to watch some of the hosts on here make new rooms since the price change and ask for $10 and over. and then check the room the next day and it is $8, and then several days later it is down to $2 or under. and finally when it gets a rating it is 2 stars. funny to me!

I wish members could designate a host as an "Unfavorite" . the host would go into your Unfavorties and wouldn't appear any longer for you in any of the categories. I waste a lot of time going through the categories seeing the same people that I have decided that I won't be visiting. The favorites doesn't work for this because you can't see any new girls that might pop up.

I don't exactly see your problem. If CC made it possible to raise our rates that high, it's obvious that certain members are willing to pay. Some of us have financial slaves, for instance. Even non-Dungeon hosts have them, which might be the case of the one you mentioned.
You can either look for a cheap(er) host, or try and discuss a lower rate with the one you want.

It only makes sense that he didn't want to go into some explanation of why he chose not to come into your room any longer. How could you argue with that response?? It's a members choice where and who they visit and maybe he felt you were way too possessive and he didn't want to deal with it. Get over it!!

There are different types of hosts, someone like to give all their attention to customers while they work no matter if they are in free or in private, someone doesnt want to waste their times by talking to ppl in free chats, but very attentive in privates, I dont think you can blame anyone of them! Srsly you are the onу who wants to get a piece of her time for free before the private that maybe happen maybe not. Yes it is more profitable for hosts to be always busy with members while on-line and those hosts make more money I believe. But she is NOT OBLIGED TO spend ANY OF HER SECOND ANY OF HER WORD to you if she doesn't want to! And don't give me that "I'm a customer" blah blah blah, cusomers are those who spend money, if a particular host never say you in paying chat you are not customer for her, you become one only after you had paying session with her.

You are wrong. You MUST answer in text chat OR you MUST say you are only available for video. See Rules 1 and 3 regarding Chathost Behavior.

Unless you had a profile that said you offered exactly what I wanted or had a very low price and you quickly answered my questions, I would just skip right over every host that didn't have amazing pics right on my way to another site. No way am I going to waste my money just in the hope that maybe you offer what I am interested in. You better lay out exactly what you do and when, in your profile, especially if you are a soft core host, and I better like what you have to say. And words like maybe, might, and sometimes would make me say "Next!".

Excuse me but you sound way too arrogant in your comments. I think that it is great that CC is one of the few that don't insist on FLVC and now you think you are too good to even have free chat?? That happens to be an advertising feature for the site. You might try opening your own site and see how well that works for you :)

What's a freeloader on CC? You can't get a video without paying unless the host makes it free...not likely. Are you talking about text chat? That is up to the host to control...she can ignore or block a freeloader....so what am I missing?

Few members (unless they are psychotic) would hang around a text chat if they were not receiving responses. Most hosts ask members to chat in private in text chat so a "freeloader" would see no respons except for his own messages....without a response. As I said it seems like a very simple problem to solve. And if the member keeps posting in open..ignore him..permanently. End of problem.
On the other hand I knew hosts who loved to have people hang around. Particularly when there was no action in their room. If you are funny, flattering, helpful, entertaining...the host enjoys the company. If a host stops responding for a bit the member knows she is engaged in conversation with a potential customer. I have seen this a lot of times...I guess I am a freeloader from time to time because I will chat with CC friends now and then. If they say..sorry I have a lot of other chats working..I leave...but I will get CC mails from hosts...hey are you online? Stop by and keep me company.

I think the hosts that hate it the most are the hosts that have several rooms open on as many sites as they can. They seem to be the ones that bring it up the most. A bit greedy in my opinion but you did bring up some other issues that pertain as well.
It actually can be a great tool to get members to your room if you use it the way it was designed and not be there just for the money without any consideration for the member who is choosing where to spend his money.

Down below, a host below was making fun of the excuses guys will use to hang out in free chat, so they can avoid paying for vid chat. Excuses like: "Oh dear, I'm sorry. I can't because I'm at work" or "Oh dear, I'm sorry. I can't because my wife's about to come in." I understand how lame excuses like that would make a host roll her eyes. And I can understand why the host below said HA! to that.
But -- just to be fair and speaking on behalf of the guys -- it also makes us say HA! right back, when hosts use lame excuses TOO, so they can avoid spending any time in free chat. For example, when you hop into a host's chat room and almost instantly she says: "Oh dear, I can't talk here because I'm soooo busy focusing on my guests . So you should just come straight into pay vid, so I can focus on you." Which SEEMS to make sense at first...
...till you realize that like most hosts, she works several sites at once. Including one where she just happens to be siting around in free preview vid. So you hop over there, and now you can actually SEE what she's doing. And what you discover is that her cam is at an odd angle, to keep her hands or face off screen, so no one can see what she's REALLY doing -- which is using her computer to web surf and shop. Or that she's actually watching TV off to the side. Or my favorite of all, she's got her cell phone out, and she's busy texting or even talking to friends, to pass the time till a paying private does come along.
In other words, the host is soooo busy "focusing on guests" that she DOESN'T have any time to spend talking with you in free chat...yet magically DOES have time to be texting away or talking on the phone with her friends. You hit the nail on the head. I use 2 computers and have had the same host in free chat on both sites. And once or twice had her in pvt on both sites at the same time. And while she refused a show on cc, she had to do one on the other site she was on.

Funny that your only example (and frustration - I sense -) is coming from what a host does in FREEE chat. Needless to exaplain how things change once a guest presses the video button. but then perhaps he would come up with the good ol' line - oh, someone at the door, brb. Why would he do that? I don't have the time or desire to talk to you...because I am probably asleep, talking with my bf on the phone, getting drunk with my studio friends, or sitting on the loo. In 9 years on CC I have seen it all. Dozens and dozens of host asleep when I enter video...tons of them laughing and talking with their studio buddies...getting sloshed on beer, wine or something else alcohol, talking on the phone, out for a coffee or cigarette break or yes...going to get something to eat or hitting the bathroom. Just because you or your studio won't allow that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
But...hosts are human beings and can't be "on" all the time. My point was a host has a right to say video chat only but that has to cost her videos and a chance to make money.

First, I don't worry about making excuses. It's my money so why should I worry about making an excuse? I just tell the truth, which is that I don't want to spend the money right now, otherwise, I would be in video, lol. If it is a friend, they can understand this. If it is not a friend, why am I hanging around text chat anyway? And I am usually talking to them on yahoo anyway, and ask if I am bothering them in text chat. They have to work, after all, and they also will tell me when they are busy.
If I am just killing time with a host that I don't know or that is not a friend, I think that this will be obvious enough within a few minutes. I would give a member 5 minutes to put up or shut up. The problem is that some hosts don't want to be bothered at all with text chat. I can understand this, but it still is a good way to get customers. A lot of us aren't there to waste hosts' time. We just want to get the preliminary hi, hru, stuff out of the way, and to make sure we will get what we really want in video. Unfortunately, a lot of hosts don't get that since apparently so many guys are wasting their time. The result: unless the host has great pics, I probably am not going to visit her.
At least this situation isn't as bad as when I see a host in soft core with really sexy pics, even nude pics, and then I ask if she will strip, and she says she likes "gentlemen" who don't just wank all the time. LMAO. You put the advertisement out baby.... Well, when I answer the ad, don't tell me I got the wrong address! :P

Well if I accessed this site from work I'm sure I wouldn't have a job for very much longer so if I ever use that excuse with you I'm lying :P
If I go to a girl's text chat it is for one reason only and that is to find out if she strips so I can video with her (2 -3 mins in text cahat at the most).
So in answer to the other recent posts perhaps that is why I have never had to wait 20-30 for a hardcore host to strip (or even a softcore one). I have never had a host tell me she couldn't strip because other girls were in the studio, Only once has a girl told me that she couldn't strip because it was her "red day" and that was from a host who had stripped every time before and she told me before I entered video. As far as I am aware I have only been blocked by one host and that was for something that happened in community chat (she later unblocked me).

I have a job where I am occasionally in an office that is not my own. I am able to access the site as long as no one is around. There is a difference between having the G rated profile pic up and an R rated video. Plus there is no audio so if I minimize the screen no one can tell what was up. I have only done this to talk to someone that I have been in video before. I understand some don't want friendly talk and only want paid video,but I sometimes like to say hi to someone that seems like a friend even if I maxxed out my card or am at work on lunch.
