Vanukovych wants to be the Putin of Ukraine , stifle democracy and freedom , control the media , press , securty services and military . With close friends takeover the best industries in Ukraine by foul means usually , become enormously wealthy along with key allies and repress their own people so its almost impossible to remove them . You only need look to Russia to see what Vanukovych's aim is and the comments today and other the last few months from Putin and the Kremlin show they fully support that .

The couple of refugies from Ukraine I came to know these days, told me that people are fighting there cause they dont want Ukraine to become "the second Russia", and that in Russia no one is fighting anymore, people have accepted their fate... Its sad, all of it. What impressed me the most, is the fact that they were "accepting" the victims... Young men that got killed, they've said about them something like "at least they fought for their country, for their freedom. We have a son too, if he was among them (dead) we would be proud of him...." o_O

Deputies began to work at least yesterday, it is forbidden to use guns by police towards people now. And army is leaving Kiev now. President is going to leave his post. I hope it will calm down and Ukraine will get the chance for better future....

Let's hope the current cease-fire will hold, and that the Ukrainian people can resolve their differences in a peaceful way. In the west, the media is portraying a rather one-sided picture of events; I'm sure the same is true on the other side. Truth, such as it is, is more complicated than a news story, and I say that will all due respect for the people suffering on the ground.
Passions run high, but violence is never a good solution. My personal invitation to you is to place respect for your fellow human first, most especially for the people of Ukraine who are living through this agonizing time.

I think that part of the reason is that there are lovely women in that category and at least SOME of them have profile pictures in very short skirts, lingerie, etc., making some guys think they may be willing to show. Do not misunderstand me - that is there right and it doesn't mean men have the right to expect more; that would be like blaming the victim in a rape. However, some of the profiles do, in fact, hint at more.

I know.... it was strange to see that.... would like to think no matter what the refs would be impartial....but it seems it would be a game without doubts if there were no refs from the participating teams countries.

And btw can u explain something to a newbee in hockey? How is it possible that a ref is american in a game USA-RUSSIA? Refs dont have a nationality? Yeah RIGHT:) Something like this never happens in football, cuz its just nonsense.

it is funny how this game made everyone forget about canada who will probably win the gold. and stop blaming the ref! even the americans were confused why the goal wasnt allowed. international rules make it very clear the goal post off means the ref HAVE TO take away the goal. if this happened in the NHL goal probably allowed cuz of different rules
