Many local areas already have programmes (this is the UK btw) for those in the business... both brothel owners and the girls/lads to help raise awareness and it gives them access to information, support and counselling. Making it legal would not suddenly stop the human traficking that goes on to feed this industry but it would go away to making it harder for them to stay underground. It would bring most of the girls off the streets if they knew they could work ligitimately and without fear of premises being raided. It would be a good thing. No it wouldnt make it perfect but it would improve health and safety for the girls and help them to reintergrate into society once they leave the profession. Some brothel girls earn around 200 ($400ish) a night on a weekend night. And most will have to work two on a rota and a mid week day or two also. Average earnings of the girls I know is approx 600$1200 week on semi full time hours. Some of the girls will never see this sort of money so alot of them will stay for longer because otherwise they will take home a third of that if they are lucky.

I know this from experience.. lots of it. I have only been escorting for a few months but I have been around the industry frist hand (excuse the expression!) for over 5 years and have seen alot in that time. I havent ever worked in a brothel, I am an independant. I dont work for an agency and I manage myself. .. and there is alot of work involved. I find that if you are honest with a host, in general they will be honest back to you. Yana is no exception, and she is a genuine and honest host in my opinion.
