christmas joke :))
A little boy sits on Santa's lap. Santa says "I bet I know what u want for Christmas," and with his finger he taps the boys nose with every letter he spells "T-O-Y-S".
The little boy thinks a second and says "No, I have enough toys!".
Santa replies once again tapping the boy’s nose with every letter "C-A-N-D-Y".
Again the little boy thinks a second and says "No, I have all kinds of candy!"
"Well, what would u like for Christmas?” Santa asks.
The little boy replies, tapping Santa on the nose, "P-U-S-S-Y, and don't tell me u don't have any because I can smell it on your finger!"

Strange Days
Several men were arrested recently and charged with sex "crimes" involving inanimate objects. In Ayr, Scotland, Robert Stewart was convicted of sexually aggravated breach of the peace (and officially labeled a sex offender) after being caught alone and pantsless in his hostel bedroom thrusting against a bicycle. [BBC News, 11-14-07]
Craig McCullough, 47, was arrested in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in October after allegedly being caught "in a compromising position" with an inflatable toy doll, in an otherwise-empty public restroom. [Cedar Rapids Gazette, 10-25-07]
Steven Marshall, 18, was arrested in Galashiels, Scotland, in November (and officially labeled a sex offender) after being caught simulating sexual intercourse against the pavement of a city street. [BBC News, 11-5-07]

warning
Be on the lookout for symptoms of inner peace. The hearts of a great many have already been exposed to inner peace and it is possible that people everywhere could come down with it in epidemic proportions. This could pose a serious threat to what has, up to now, been a fairly stable condition of conflict in the world.
Some signs and symptoms of inner peace:
* A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.
* An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.
* A loss of interest in judging other people.
* A loss of interest in judging self.
* A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.
* A loss of interest in conflict.
* A loss of the ability to worry. (This is a very serious symptom.)
* Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
* Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
* Frequent attacks of smiling.
* An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.
* An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollabe urge to extend it.
WARNING:
If you have some or all of the above symptoms, please be advised that your condition of inner peace may be so far advanced as to not be curable. If you are exposed to anyone exhibiting any of these symptoms, remain exposed only at your own risk.

Breast Implants
Unfortunately, while a post like this is guaranteed to get a lot of readers, I have a very serious question: Are these things safe in the long run? I have yet to find any credible source that says implants are safe. Everything that I read online seems to indicate that within about 10 years or so, and maybe a lot less, the breast implants will need to be replaced due to leakage. And once they leak, very serious health probelms can result. Are these things worth it, and if not, should women with them have them removed before it is too late? In answering that they are safe, please give your source of information. Thank you.
RE: Breast Implants
As far as i know the leakage process appears only to that type of implants that are filled with serum. Those were the first type of implants , many years ago.The last generation implants are not filled with any gel or serum, but they are practically one piece, made of flexible silicone that contains no liquid. In this case i really don't see how they could leak.
If you have already implants with serum, i guess the better solution is to talk with your surgeon and see what he advices you.
If you are willing to make yourself an implant, just chose the solid implants, thats my opinion.
Wish u all the best.

Once you put something in writing, you need to hope that it is correct. Always remember that, especially when using text messaging/sms, posting, emailing, and using regular mail. Once it is gone, it is gone....

How the fight started...
I rear-ended a car this morning.
So there we are alongside the road and the driver slowly gets out of
the car. . . and you know how you just-get-sooo-stressed and
life-stuff seems to get funny?
Yeah, well, I could NOT believe it . . . he was a DWARF!
He storms over to my car, looks up at me and says, 'I AM NOT HAPPY!'
So, I look down at him and say, 'Well, which one are you then?'
. . . and that's when the fight started . . .
LITTLE JOHNNY
One day little Johnny heard a noise and peeked into his parents room to check it out. He opened the door to see his mom bent over the dresser and dad going at it behind her. Johnny's dad saw him and gave him a little wink as Johnny closed the door. After business was finished Dad went to check on little Johnny. He opened his bedroom door to find Grandma bent over the dresser and little Johnny going at it behind her. Dad yelled, "Johnny, what the hell are you doing?!" Little Johnny replied, "It's not so funny when its YOUR mom, is it?!"
American dollar and you, part 2
"According to a Citi report on November 21, the dollar was expected to decline to 1.57 to the euro in the first quarter of 2008 before recovering to end the year around 1.47. The euro
(EUR-) bought around $1.4660 on Monday."
http://www.cnbc.com/id/22077235
That is just one economist's opinion, but it looks like the dollar will go lower and stay lower for awhile as interest rates are cut. But, no, the U.S. economy is not falling apart, lol.

RE: American dollar and you, part 2
No, just marry someone from UK or Australia, lol. You can return to Americans when the U.S. dollar goes higher. Seriously, you might have to raise hour rate/minute, but if you do this too much, you will lose enough customers that the rate increase will not be worth it.
Back to the dollar, as the global economy slows, other countries will cut interests rates just like the U.S. so the dollar will begin to rise again. Further, once the U.S. cuts spending on things like Iraq, the dollar will also go up. (Yes, I know that depending on who wins there could be more spending within the USA by the U.S. governenment but the spending on the Iraq war is probably a lot more than any increase in domestic spending will be so there should be a net cut in spending, at least I hope so. Otherwise, the US economy will has enough problems in a few years that rising interest rates will be necessary to borrow money but the dollar will fall anyway... which would really suck, lol.)

Dollar faces new sell-off if Gulf states end greenback pegs
"Any move by five of the six GCC countries to follow a lead set by Kuwait in May and abandon their long-standing dollar pegs would add to already severe stress on the American currency, whose overall value on its broad trade-weighted index has plunged by nearly 12 per cent over the past two years, raising inflationary anxieties for the United States."

RE: Dollar faces new sell-off if Gulf states end greenback pegs
Hehehe, that's just the tip of the iceberg. The US gov't has been doing the same thing the people of the US has been doing for the past decade -- enjoying credit at firesale prices. Problem is rates will have to increase and then the gov't will be like the people with subprime mortgages. Struggling to pay the new inflated interest. When people around the world decide it's not worth it to loan the US gov't money in the form of treasury bills and bonds they won't have sufficient funds to pay the interest on the debt without significant spending reductions and/or a large increase in taxes. So who are the foreign gov'ts that have been loaning the US money to pay it's interest? The 3 biggest foreign investors in order are Saudi Arabia, China and Great Britian.
Interesting side note, When Bush took office the US national debt was $5.7 trillion dollars. It's currently estimated that when or shortly after he leaves office it will pass $10 trillion dollars. Sad part is it can't even be blamed on Bush, the policies in place when he took office increased it more then anything Bush did.

RE: Dollar faces new sell-off if Gulf states end greenback pegs
is this good news for Europeans paying for CC sessions in dollars?
RE: American dollar and you, part 2
The US economy is falling apart due to the failed policies of both Alan Greenspan and Ben Bernacke. They are both raging alcoholics that have no clue how to run a country's central bank. The US will be a 3rd world country in less than 20 years.
RE: American dollar and you, part 2
Not bloody likely, lol. But there could be a sustained period of economic problems. And as the USA goes, so will the rest of the world's economies so don't sound so happy.
RE: American dollar and you, part 2
today at msn money site, article says Europe is fighting inflationary pressures and is considering RAISING interest rates which will be more bad news for the dollar.

RE: American dollar and you, part 2
the falling dollar is bad news only for europe. in the states it has no effect and it is good for exports. there are much more economic factors at play such as the price of oil and energy. globally all will feel this particularly this winter when energy prices rise which will have an inflationary effect on everyone.
RE: American dollar and you, part 2
....it's bad news for any country that has its currency pegged to the greenback....read the article mr doom linked to.
RE: American dollar and you, part 2
ANY major country with economic problems has a global impact, whether positive or negative. In fact NO ONE wants the American economy to melt down, except idiots. Some countries play with the dollar only "to show who's boss." The Europeans are so concerned it is the subject of a major EU economic conference and the French are even considering building an Airbus factory here to prop us up and take advantage of a weaker dollar.
RE: American dollar and you, part 2
so when the chinese economy sinks in a generation, will that bring on armageddon?
RE: American dollar and you, part 2
As an AUSSIE, the falling US DOLLAR is good for our imports , but exports are not so good.. keep falling. I wanna import something real cheap..

RE: American dollar and you, part 2
You live in UK and the best you can do for yourself is be a host? Most hosts here have no choice but to do this. To be a waitress and pay for school, rent, et cetera for example would never work in Eastern Europe, and even after finishing school, there still are not enough good jobs. I know many people in this situation from poorer parts of the world. But I have yet to meet the host from UK, Australia, or USA that could not have a better job if she wanted.
pearly gates
Three men die just as the Christmas season gets underway & are met by St Peter at the pearly gates.
"In honour of this holy season,"St Peter says"You must each possess something that symbolises Christmas to get into heaven."
The first man fumbles through his pockets before pulling out a lighter, which he flicks on.
'"This represents a candle."he says.St Peter allows him to pass.
The second man pulls out a set of keys which he jingles.
"These are like bells."he says & St Peter also lets him pass.
The third man starts searching desperately through his pockets before finally pulling out a pair of women's undies.
"And just what do they represent?"St Peter asks rather grimly.
"These are Carol's."the man replies hopefully. :--)

RE: love? friendship?
I just hope the people who've had their hearts broken find the strength to try again. When love doesn't work out it can hurt terribly, but when it does ... sigh -- life doesn't get better then that. Remember it happens, and it doesn't matter where you meet. I've been broken hearted many times with women who never heard of Cam Contacts. To the broken hearted I hope for you to find new loves in the new years, ones to make you forget all past loves and let you see why you risk your hearts. Early best wishes to all for a new year of joy.
RE: love? friendship?
Yep, we never know until we try. Otherwise we could end up sitting in our rooms and making love with our PCs...lol. To find someone or something we must act. And NO ONE is insured of making mystakes. But they teach us to be smarter and wiser and more careful but there is no other way to get experience. Life always moves on and gives us a chances every moment. But if we stopped it means we're losing our chances to find what we are looking for. We have such a saying in Russia, but I guess it can be international..."who never takes a risk, will never drink a champagne" which means, if we stop trying, we can't have a chance to celebrate a victory.
If we are too scared by our previous bad experiences and prefer to avoid a new ones, we could never meet our love or whatever we want to have in this life. The meaning of life is to try again and again and again until we are happy, each time when we are looking for love, for job, for anything...and of course if you are a scientist who wants to prove his theory :) All we need is to get over our disappointments, to grow up and go on. Life is unpredictable AT ALL, and that's why is wonderful...otherwise it will be grey and too boring.
So, my wish and advice to a broken hearts is "DON'T STOP!"

RE: OK so who won host of year???
there was a host of the year award? wtf....i didnt get nominated.... :((
finding out who won...
We all have trouble finding out who won the contest. CC has done a horrendous job of publicizing the results. I only see a couple lines of nondescript text on the opening page that links to the Winners' Page. I NEVER go to the opening page, I'm directly linked deeper into the site as any of us regulars would be.
In honor of all the decorating that so many of the girls did in their rooms and the extra hours many of them worked one would think that the afterglow of the event would last a lot longer.
Haven't any of CC's staff studied marketing? Aren't they milking this all across the net for all it's worth?

How do people handle the "how we met" when applying for visas?
There's a lot of talk about romance here. Of course, if things work out, and a host wants to move to a member's country, that raises an important question: What do women applying for visas to get married in another country or those that marry a foreigner and then try to move to his country tell that country's government about how they met their boyfriends? I was thinking that saying "Well, we met on a sex site, but I really love him" or something like that is probably not the best answer, lol. At the same time, agreeing on a story with your love and lying to the government of the UK, USA, et cetera is never a good idea either. I suppose you could just say "We met by chatting on the internet," but the government official might ask for more details such as what site, et cetera.
RE: How do people handle the
you could say you met him over internet, it shouldnt be a shame, just for detaills say something like "we met on a Travel group in yahoo" or on some holidays websites, and they cant say its a bad thing if both of you were registred on those type of websites-)
RE: How do people handle the
Honestly, in my eyes, it is no big deal to say: "we just met on the net". There are thousand of ways these days to get to know each other on the net by chat. You might say, well, first we met on a web chat, later we got to know each other more deeply on instant messenger. Seems to be a normal thing in this world.
RE: How do people handle the
Meeting on the net is so easy these days that those words shouldn't scare anybody. You will also print out all your Yahoo chats and all your e-mails and give them to the interviewer as part of your proofs. It sound wierd but some friends of mine gave over 300 pages of their Yahoo chats. It's quite a proof.
Of course you have real letters and cards and photos and ticket stubs and on and on.

RE: How do people handle the
The officials are not normally so interested in how you first made contact as in the genuineness of the relationship. Evidence of real life meetings is more important.
RE: How do people handle the
yes the specialist has got it right....proof of meeting and evidence of a real relationship(chat thanscirpts, phone bills, boarding passes, etc) works just fine.....and most embassies and their consulates are quite aware that many many people are now meeting on the internet....doesnt surprize anyone anymore...or it shouldnt anyway...lol
RE: RELAX AND THINK ABT........
uh...Ori im just curious.....in what countries would i be responsible for taking a virgins virginity?....im planning a trip soon...and those countries sound like they might be most interesting
RE: How do people handle the
Hmmmm. Everyone here assumed a host, not a member, wrote this. Reading what I wrote, I can see how people can think this, but I said things like "you could say", not "I could say".
Anyway, as a member and a guy, lol, I was just thinking about the future. Thank you for your replies. I still think, however, that an embassy official may decide to ask for more details about exactly how and when you met as he investigates how the relationship started and grew. And if this happens, I still don't know the best way to handle such a question. If asked point blank "You met on the internet. Fine. How and when? What site?" I don't know if things would happen this way, but one never knows, and lying can always come back to haunt you.

RE: How do people handle the
NO. It is not the big concern. From experience I can say the BIGGEST concern is the depth and extent of the proofs you offer. The print-outs of the chats, e-mails, photos together, etc., etc. are all they want.
The initial meeting is far down the list. It is the relationship they care about. In fact, a friend was in the embassy for their interview (successfull, I may add) and they overheard one girl's meeting with the staff.
All she had was a wedding certificate, ring and photo from the wedding. She thought these were the magic ticket. Beyond those things she had nothing. No other photos together, no letters, no phone records or e-mails and she couldn't answer any of the basic questions about his job, his family where they would live or anything personal about him. They turned her away. The proofs are the paramount thing.

I had assumed from your original post that you were a member. As you clearly are not familar with the visa application procedure I wonder why you think they will be so obsessed with how you first came into contact. In the unlikely event that you were asked to name the site it should not be a particullar problem to say it was camcontacts. After all this site does havenon-adult categories. However what they will focus on is the strength of your actual relationship. Meetings in real and evidence that it is of long duration are the key things.
RE: How do people handle the
meeting online means nothing and is of no value. you have to prove that you met in person at the very minimum.
RE: How do people handle the
You might find the stories and advice on visajourney dot com interesting, even if you are just asking as a casual question (i.e., don't have a specific girl in mind yet). From everything I've heard ( = friends who have done this, or have friends who have) what everyone else has written is correct: exactly how you first made contact is not so important, the depth and extent of your relationship is VERY important. Transcripts of IM chats, emails, photos together in her country (particularly from more than one visit, with her family, not just at a table in a bar) phone bills, are all evidence of that. There are reasons for denying a visa, but just thinking that she's a gold digger or you're a love-crazed fool are not among them (thank God for all of us). The consular staff have to follow the rules too, so don't let them intimidate you or her.
RE: How do people handle the
If she is just looking for a tourist visa it is best she not mention you at all. Going on vacation to meet your sweetheart is a red flag for embassy staff. Just tell her to say she is coming for tourism and leaving when her visit is over.
If you want to marry her and apply for a fiancee visa take my advice. Have her apply for a student visa instead. Junior college. Degree program. Front her the money for tuition and room and board. Once she arrives and takes courses for a few months marry her. It is so much easier to change status from student to married than to get a fiancee visa. Like pulling teeth and you have to wait forever. Student visa is fairly straight forward. Again she should not mention you at all. With a fiancee visa you have to marry in six months upon arrival so this gives you a little more time to live together and think it over.
That's my advice and I am sticking to it.

RE: How do people handle the
Actually. with the Fiancee Visa you must marry within 60 days, not six months.
RE: How do people handle the
if a guy really did fall in love with a host, he would pack up and move to her country to be with her.
RE: How do people handle the
And how would he support her? Learning the language, and having a skill that can earn enough money to live by middle-class western standards is not that common. Do you think all western guys are independently wealthy?
Oh, I get it, you want him to live off her cc wages.

In this case it's true and even if Russia didn't beat the US in other ways, they send their girls as secret agent chat hosts to conquer American men's hearts.
Sad
Since Ori got a new keyboard. I miss her crazy comments in what was sometimes poor English. And yes, I admit it, even her caps (as long as she is the only one to use them). I miss the good old days.

RE: Sad
SO THAT WAS WHY SHE ALWAYS USED TO TYPE IN CAPS? JEEZ....AND I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE SHE WAS A RUGGED INDIVIDUALIST! I GUESS I GAVE HER A LITTLE TOO MUCH CREDIT...STILL LIKED HER POSTS, THOUGH, CAPS OR NO CAPS. She's definitely different, and has a big heart. Never visited her, by the way.
