i've noticed what i thought was a condescending tone in a lot of his messages myself.....undeservedly rude towards some folks he's seemed at times......interesting that i'm maybe not the only one who thinks so.

I had a friend in college who would ask every girl he met if they wanted to go back to his apartment and screw. Interesting observation, Well. I know that you weren't asking me directly, but most honest members here will admit to having been "fished" at least once. Having had it happen to me, I can testify that it doesn't feel very nice...you feel like a dumb a## when it finally hits you! However, we all differ in how we synthesize that information. Some make the same mistake over and over with a different girl. Some become extremely bitter and cynical. Some become overly critical and even hateful of certain rases and cultures. I have been in and out of PI over the last 10 years, I know that you will find the poorest family in a province and if you knock on their door around supper time you will be invited in 9 of 10 times and they will be insulted if you do not share their family meal. In PI it is not unusual to ask a friend for a "borrow", most times if the friend has it they will allow the "borrow", sometimes at the 5 to 6 rates, borrow 5 payback 6, alot of times there is never any intentions of paying back the "borrow" and this is accepted too. To the filipino / filipinas asking for something they want is justified but for sayiong " I am shy to ask" or "may I ask favor", but most will ask, not all but most, to the filipino asking help is almost a cultural trait, so many have so little, so few have not much more, made 90% of the countrys wealth is controled by 1% of the population, Graft and corruption in politics is considered the normal way of doing things, there is always someone willing to help you get what you want for a price. need forged papers most are P500, daily min wage is P350 at the USA dollar exchange rate that is about $8.00 a day, even some filipino with college degrees do not make must more than that. So actually to filipinas working in sites, making the prvts is good money for them and if they can get "borrows" or gifts then you might be supporting a family of 5-7 and not know it, but they will most likely ask, it is not a scam to them it is just a way to have what they need, filipinos can justify most any action they want to do simple because they do not have what they need and almost anything goes to get it. It is not lying to them it is just getting what they need to survive, a way of life. But they are some of the friendliest, smilingest, Kind heart, lie in your face, talk behind your back , give you the shirt off their back, loyalest people you will ever find. It depends on how long you are talking about spending in free chat getting to know the host. Any longer than 10 - 15 minutes and I wouldn't agree with you. That is plenty of time to decide if there is maybe a connection between you and the host.

Russian postal service....but I think the post office employees you talked to were actually honest with you when they said they were not sure if your gift would arrive. Just as an example, I wanted to send someone a gift in the Philippines, and when I spoke to Filipino's about sending it through the mail, they almost burst out laughing...not safe at all! Ended up using FedEx...expensive at $75, but it was worth it. Two reasons.....first in many cases they are being honest. There are many extremely pretty and sexy women here. Secondly they feel a compliment is expected by the host and a compliment will translate into a better (hotter) show. Same reasons a host gives a member compliments....she is trying to get the member into a video and once there to stay for a long time. Also try taking off your top in real life to any man who says hi and see how many compliments you get.

Yes, certainly look at the latest evidence. I chose those because they were very well done studies that were also very large and well analyzed however it never hurts to see more then one source. Just keep in mind that not all journals are either well done or well interpreted. This is something that the media constantly does; they read one article and make conclusions from that. Under the section for "Product Details" (which gets harder and hard to find with all the crappy advertising that comes up on the page now!) you'll see the Publisher's information, with the date in paranthesis. There's so much on those damn pages now, it takes some hunting. I get a strange thing now, too, where the page jumps up and down, so I can't read it! Very frustrating when advertising makes a good resource unusable!

Yes...I too love the reviews. It's been a huge source of info about things on there for me. I was just looking at a dvd there, that I thought twice about after reading about the poor quality and that it was a second release of something that's been released already in better quality (and other reviews to back up the info). Amazon didn't lose a sale though, they gained a sale in something I will be more pleased with, making it more likely I'll return, as opposed to getting a quick buck and having me feel 'ripped off' later. It's a great resource!

I understand your feelings and have dramatically limited my time here because I share some of them. At the same time, however, I would not lump all of the hosts together. I think that some are very nice people. There are a few, of course, that are exactly as you describe. In fact, based on what I hear from my host friends, a number of hosts attack members regularly in the host forum. But when you put money and sex together, not to mention emotions, I guess all of this is to be expected.

In terms of the rating system, I think it is a good idea, but I do not like how it works. I believe only the last 10 votes are counted. I think that the last 25 to 50 votes would be a better sample. For new hosts, I would have "not rated" until they reach 25 (or 50 as the case may be) votes. I also am well aware of hosts asking their favorite members on this site and others not only to come stay in video for a few minutes to give them 5 stars but also to rate other hosts lower in hopes to take away other hosts stars. (I get a number of "Busy? Can you do me a favor?" messages on yahoo, as I am sure other members do.) Given that the last 10 votes are all that count, it only takes a few one star votes to ruin a rating of a top host or a few 5 star votes to make an undeserving host a top rated one. But once again, with money at issue and many hosts from poorer countries, this is to be expected. And as long as a member is willing to pay to vote, CC can only limit how many times he votes for a host, not if he votes and how he votes. Therefore, a larger sample, such as 25 votes is a good idea in my view. (I would not do as another site does and count every vote since the stone ages in determining a rating. I think a "what have you done for me lately" approach is better, as long as the sample size is big enough, but 10 votes are too few.)

I think the problems here lie with both the members and the hosts. Ultimately, the members will win since we have the money and there are many sites and many women to choose from. Each day almost my host friends tell me that hosts are saying this site and others are slow. Whether that means there are simply more and more hosts and therefore more competition or whether members are voting with their credit cards to stay away from all but their favorite, proven hosts, I don't know. But I do know this.... A smart host will always try to please a member if she wants money. That doesn't mean do whatever he says and accept rudeness, but many hosts here do need to lose the attitude and accept the fact that members are paying and have a while hosts have the right to nice treatment, members have the right to get what the given host's category says they are supposed to get.

Members are seldom mentioned in the Chathost Only Forum and it's as much positive as negative.

Seems one can read these posts and only extract only what appeals to them. This results in a me vs. you mentality. Sure I come at this from a member view point and clearly this is not respected by hosts who demand respect but don't give it in return. All host anger is directed solely at members. If you read carefully what "AnotherMember" says, some hosts ask their favorites to rate them high and to rate others lower.
