The most significant factor for me in a good video is its length, with a minimum of an hour and preferably 90 minutes or more. So little shy is the perfect category for me; a video that long at instant action prices just would not be viable for my finances.

Yes I do visit the instant action category but as the prices can be a lot higher it has to be a girl I really want to see and find very very attractive. The problem is, as you yourself said, that members (including me) will go to a little shy and try to get an instant action type show and as you also said quite often we succeed.

It's a bit of a balancing act as hosts obviously want to earn as much as possible and members want to pay as little as possible.

a lot has to do with the placement of IA....behind all the other categories with lower prices.

I tended to visit little shy or not so shy, these categories have sane prices and I'm not necesssarily into an immediate strip. I prefer 5-10 minutes lead into the show, and I'll typically stay for around an hour, of course if the host hurries things along a little then I don't usually complain, but I like to tease a little too.

Instant action prices are too high compared to the shy categories and I don't like the implication that it's "strip here and now", jerk, squirt, and leave.

If guys are demanding instant action in the shy categories, then it's up to the host whether she chooses to oblige, or tease and stall for a few minutes first, but in the shy categories (particularly little shy) that is totally justified.

I agree fully.. From reading 'just a hosts' original post it seems that she was allowing herself to be 'Rail Roaded' into an instant action show.

I prefer the little shy category & I don't take much notice of the star rating system as all members have different requirements eg 1 guys 5* can be another guys 1*

I will be honest, i'm not into instant action. Based on what i've seen, for the most part i expect a girl in instant action to be crude and not someone i'd like to know. Yes you're right because none of us members would ever accept a pay rise if we were offered it for doing no extra work. Providing quality goods and services is our only motivation for getting a job and if we are being honest, the pay we receive is just an irritation.

I never go to instant action category. I like to chat for a while and I do not want to pay the higher prices for chatting. My favorite category is little shy.

I prefer Not So Shy and Fetish. I will, however, browse Little Shy to see who is there but rarely visit anyone.

I find, for the most part, prices do equal quality (quality equaling attitude, personalbe, affable, genuine, and willing to play without making me feel guilty about it) in the two categories.

I think you equation of Little Shy and Instant Action is out of kilter. That is, there is no correlation between the two. Most members know prices are higer but feel quality is lacking. You may want to give Not So Shy and Fetish a try before you finalize your decision. I would hate to see someone leave before I see her. :)

Otherwise, be happy wherever you go. And do not consider this a job or a career. It is not. It is an opportunity to earn while you are searching for a real job that better suits your talents, intelligence, and education.

It takes about 30 seconds to set up the private room with password. It is not too complicated it is not 121 so you dont like it. You and your fellow hosts have a choice. Lower your prices or do things like audio in open or private password session and make some money or wait for someone to come to 121 and spend hours doing your nails and making nothing.

I always go to text chat and ask the host, sometimes they have sound and no icon, and other times they have the icon but the sound is useless. For me a host needs to have good sound for a good show...

For me available for video chat only is the kiss of death. I figure the host is sleeping and thats fine. Then put in the message...I am asleep if you want to wake me up come to video. I like that better for some reason. If the host is awake and just doesnt feel like chatting for free then she can sit on her ass and piss away the night making no money.

As a member I find $1.00 for Open Session quite reasonable. Although you might do better offering Open for $0.98. Everyone knows, of course, that $0.98 is in effect $1.00, but there's a curious psychology involved---as anyone in Marketing knows---in which a significant number of people will pay $0.98, but not $1.00. Everyone likes to feel sexy/handsome/pretty/desired (describe what you will). And usually people see themselves only in mirrors. Such chat gives an opportunity to study own movement, behaviour, look and seeing live how it affects other people. I think it is normal, when person changes and sees positive effects of such change, one tends to stick to it and try to do other things better - look, behaviour, clothes, makeup. It can be a great boost of confidence, or a total breakdown for someone who takes all jerks seriously ;)

I think the warm satisfaction a host gets from a completely naked show done well, one that she has really put that extra effort into, is something on which you just can't put a price.

If at $1.50 a girl gives some sort of show in open seesion the price is reasonable. If to get any sort of show you have to go to 121 for over $2.00 this is high.

Having read the thread I can see that she has shown poor business sense. She increased her price by 50% in one jump. If she had spread the increase over 5 months, going up by 0.10 each month I think there would be fewer complaints.

She increased the price of her open session by a huge 50% making her 121 vid go to $2.00 If I would go to her now to her 121 as I usually did, I would spend about: $120.00 Compared to what she charged before: $90.00 Thats $30.00 or 1/3 difference that i could use for another vid session with another host. Most of us can afford a $5.00 a min host, but how many other hosts we would see after a half hour session with this host? zero - nada - nothing else for the rest of the month! LOL.

I think you missing the point. $1.50 is not so expensive for not so shy but for the shy category it is since there is no guarantee of show.

I dunno, I've gotten some pretty hot shows of a little shy. Must just be in the way you treat them. ;)
