Sorry...no offense...but I disagree with some of you. Why are you jumping 10 steps ahead and making this about romance? Why are you making it about "signals" you need to send -- whether you're a host or guest? Why are you playing silly mind games over something so simple? Whatever happened to a person just LIKING another person as a new (or old) friend? There's nothing wrong with telling someone you miss them -- in fact, it's the truest sign of friendship to say those 3 words. So why are you jumping to romance and signals to keep walls up? If I say "I miss you" to ANYONE in a friendly manner and they DON'T say it back (at one point or another), then I'd know the friendship I thought we had -- or thought we were building -- was garbage and fake. In which case I walk away. And if that happened with a Host I'd been seeing for a bit, then I'd know our chat time together was ONLY about money. And let me say this bluntly -- in these economic times, I've got A LOT better things to spend my cash on then a host who is ONLY interested in my wallet and NOT the real me, as a person.

I like your sentiment IncrediblySuperNice but disagree with your conclusion. In my experience friends in the real world seldom tell you "I miss you" or "Did you miss me?". Those words are generally reserved for romantic relationships and between very old friends.

Of course, you are correct that there is nothing wrong with telling somebody that you miss them if you really do miss them. So long as you are telling the truth.

I think the answer to your question is "depends". The member would have to accept that things might not work out between himself and the host and would therefore possibly be alone in the host's city. If that were to happen, the member would either go home early or become a tourist in the city. The member would have to be comfortable enough with "being a tourist" at this point in a city he may or may not be familiar with.

A vacation destination is a nice idea, but under this circumstance the host now doesn't have the luxury of being home if things don't work out.

IMO, choose a neutral vacation location that is within a reasonable flight distance for the host. That way, if she is uncomfortable with the situation, it will be an easy trip back home.

I think it should be a vacation spot where things are more relaxed. However there should be a way to be able to leave for either host or member if things do not work out the way they want.

Some hosts send replies to cc mail and some do. That is the same for the members. To me that does not mean a host cares about me or not. It just means that they are busy or not, because I receive some cc mail when things are slow on cc.

The orginal poster makes sense. If a host says you are special to her in paid chat (I love you, I miss you, you are my favorite client) but has no interest in corresponding via ccmail or email then it is safe to assume that you are NOT the man of her dreams.

AS for the movies-Hangover-the funnies comedy i saw lately! Hillarious! Also if ure into european movies-"Mesrine: L'instinct de mort", "Mesrine: L'ennemi public №1". Its a biographical story of the great french gangster of the ХХ сentury with Vincent Cassel in the leading role. Sooooo good.Ok id better stop, i can keep going and going and going)))))

Japan and South Korea make fantastic horror movies.. so good the USA usually makes a copy.. but the original versions are much spookier...like The Ring (Ringu), Dark Water, One Missed Call, A Tale of Two Sisters, Into the Mirror, the Grudge. Love them all.

Also Hard Candy, and going back a few years Ai no Corrida. Not out and out horror but traumatised me, especially when I learnt it is based on a true story.

Dont miss John Q, best drama i saw in the last couple of years, a briliant movie about a father trying to save his son`s life. Im not a fan of horror movies but you should see The cave, The fog, Reincarnation. Enjoy!
