All I can say is that should be a plus if they put it in their profile if they don't do such things. Should save a lot of wasted time and hopes.

my guess is 95% of the complaints we read in this forum are not about hosts in IA not performing as expected, but hosts in Little Shy and Glamour not doing hardcore performance. Life is to short they say, just to sit around and not say anything, people from all places of the planet are not talking at this moment, some are even trying to figure out where should they be or what should they be doing besides sitting here so quiet. In some cases people are sleeping, people are working, people are out on dates, people are (well you get the point), and some people just sit around thinking and being quiet waiting on that right person to come along and make their life more fun, loving, caring and all. As a long time member, I oppose this option. Giving the hosts power of acceptance has too much potential for abuse. Moreover, it can be fun to "interrupt" a host in the middle of something, or join her video immediately after a previous one ends and "catch" her with her pants down (pun absolutely intended).

I agree with the Host's suggestion. I also think a host should be able to press go pvt button when she needs to take a break. And I would add she should be able to block a member by IP number as many members have more than 1 screen name.

I don't think IP blocking will work as people from various locations could be connecting via community networks. But I agree, there should be some kind of "block all this guy's accounts" option.

How mentally alert and ready to be playful are you if you are in the other room doing dishes, really! I think you are trying to stay online too many hours if you are doing other things around the house too. If you are in chat with members then you are ready for cam as soon as someone comes into video....that is how it was intended. If you are trying to stretch it into something else then that is why you are having problems. It is even in the rules that you should be available and in front of cam when your room is open....just follow the rules.

Best solution, for member, go into text chat first and talk to the host before you engage. That way if the session shows she is in private you can leave her be, and if she wants she can message you to return later.

Hosts, I appreciate you
You work hard. You put up with a lot of crap from members who treat you like sh*t, and still wear a smile (until you can take no more of it) You come in when you are feeling too sick to hold your head up, and yet you still try to look your best and give the viewer the best show you can. You sit for hours sometimes, with almost no one paying, fighting off sheer boredom and worrying how you are going to pay your bills. You work long hours, far longer than those with 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. jobs, hoping to earn enough to pay the rent, and put food on the table, or pay for classes. You try to give the viewer what he wants, even though there may be 2 or 3 viewers demanding very different things. There are so many things you do, sacrifices you make, to do your job well, and many of us viewers just take you for granted, and do not appreciate what you do, or care about your personal needs or interests.
And though I know not every host will fit this description, every host I visit does... and so I tip my hat to you, and say THANKS. I feel privileged to be among those who enjoy you not only for the show you give, but for the conversations we've had.

OK I'm all for everyone posting in an anonymous fashion. I think people can be more honest when they do not have to worry about being polite or hurting someone's feelings. And there have been some very rude posts by some describing themselves as hosts. And yes many are from self described viewers/members. But my post is about hosts. Except for maybe a very times out of hundreds of chats both in free chat and pvt, every host I have come in contact with has been both friendly and welcoming.
I have no doubt that those posting as hosts and saying some outrageous things, are polite to their viewers both in free chat and in pvt. I think in this forum they are just letting off some steam. We all need to vent. And if they used their actual screen names, it could have an unwanted outcome. So it is certainly better for hosts to post as anonymous in this forum and get things off their chest. Its actually good therapy and we can all have some fun and hopefully no one will be insulted and we can take everything in stride. Let's all just have fun.

No, not at all. Like any other business, they simply charge what the market will bear. The prices on CC are clearly displayed, unlike some other sites. And no one is forced to spend any money. Every member can choose when to spend and on who to spend it on. I have seen some charge as high as $5 for open and $6 for 121. And others are under $1 for both open and 121. So there are many choices for viewers.
The hosts' prices are only a reflection of the kind of viewers they get. And it is my opinion that there are a fairly good number of rich members that have unusual taste that may differ from the mainstream old fashioned perverts that were the only members of such sites back in the day.
And I don't blame the hosts for reacting to market forces and moneyed viewers strange propensities for what in my opinion is extremely bizarre taste. And so it goes.
The hosts' prices are only a reflection of the kind of viewers they get. And it is my opinion that there are a fairly good number of rich members that have unusual taste that may differ from the mainstream old fashioned perverts that were the only members of such sites back in the day.

There is a statutory National Minimum Wage in the UK which in dollar terms would be about $10 per hour (or for a regular week, about $390 before tax and national insurance deductions). For many types of work (hospitality sector- waitressing etc - , care industry, cleaning,retail) a large proportion of workers are on this minimum wage, especially among the migrant population. I make no conclusions, just giving a few facts for people to draw their own comparisons.

I don't understand with such a large selection of prices and girls why this subject comes up all the time. You value yourself in your place of work and so do hosts. There is plenty of selection so I don't see why anyone needs to bring this up. If you are on a tight budget then there are plenty that should fit that. If you want something you can't afford then that is just life Alan! Most other sites there is a minimum of around $1.99 per minute so if anything you should be praising CC for being different!

I have to say I am pretty sympathetic to the hosts. I can't imagine having to sit in a room somewhere for hours on end waiting for a member to pop in with no warning whatsoever. It is not like they get the courtesy of a knock on the door to give them at least a few seconds. Do you expect them to sit there all perky, sexy and with a smile on their face for hour after hour while nothing is going on? If I had their job I am a 100 percent sure I would be caught napping, reading the paper or watching TV.

I think "some" hosts try to stay online for extended hours rather than a reasonable amount of hours being perky, prepared, alert and fun. Some brag about not getting out of their pj's even....that's not right. While she is signed in and have the cam on she should be appropriately alert and available to chat and video from the beginning. If she is too tired or bored then she should pick the busiest hours for herself and not try and make money 24/7. That should be a no brainer!!

Category Talk...Yet Again
There always seems to be a bit of talk about restructuring CC. Perhaps we need Members Categories. This would help the hosts just like host categories help members
First off I think we can dispense with the Non-Adult category. Lets face it, most men in the eyes of most woman are mental children and this description would pretty much apply to all members.
Consider the Following:

1. Mute.
What it Really Means: "No Wonder this Guy is Single. He comes to chat, but hey...it takes two to make a conversation. This dude should just go to You Tube or rent a video."
2. Moron Category.
What it Really Means: "Mastery of English language seems to consist of."Hey BB. HRU. Take that off." For many guys on this site they are essentially brain dead, but their dick is still alive.
3. Totally Offensive Assholes.
What it Really Means: "Pushy Son Of a Bitch always wants more than host wants to give. Give some guys access to the internet and you give some self absorbed idiot the opportunity to antagonize everyone."
4. Cheap, cheap, cheap.
Self evident what it means. These guys are bottom feeders and basically are not willing to pay to play.
5. Butt Ugly
What it Really Means to Host : "No wonder this poor bloke is on CC. I think I will close my eyes and maybe he will think I am just fantasizing about him. God when will this be over? PLEASE NO more CAM2CAM. Make it stop. I AM NOT MAKING ENOUGH MONEY FOR THIS LEVEL OF UGLY."

This may be the biggest category in terms of percentage of guys on CC.

What it really mean: Host is thinking. "Hey I won't tell Angelina if you won't. Handsome and suave. This may be the rarest type of member. Hosts should be paying him."
