Stalker ?
I have a feeling I am being stalked by a chathost. I first came into contact with her at comchat. She was the 1st to say "hi" when I came in. She invited me to play; but I politely refused. She then suggested i check out her profile page & her pics then make my decision. A day or so later, I did. Though she is rated 4 stars, I ccMailed her (my mistake) and told her honestly that she's not my type. Since then everytime I go to comchat, she'd be the 1st to text me with a "hi, how are u" and for the past several days, sends me ccMail ... I mean DAILY. She's very polite and basically just wishing me a good day. Maybe she just likes me, but I have no intention of getting to know her or visit her in vid, for simple reason that she's not my type. Then my question to you, what is the best way to get her to stop?
1. ignore her text (in comchat) & any ccMail she sends me?
2. tell her directly to stop texting & emailing me?
3. or may be a bit cruel, but perhaps go to her vid then tell her she didn't turn me on?
I don't want to hurt her feelings, but at the same time wish she would focus on someone else. I can handle an occasional greeting, but surely not everyday.

RE: Stalker ? LOL
Maybe u know me, but i didn't find any mail by u in my cc mailbox, it would be great to read it. So try again with other nick.
RE: Stalker ?
If you were honest with her once why can't you do it again? If in comchat she greets you, it doesn't take too much time and energy to answer with a Hi, and you can tell her directly that you don't want her to ccmail you, nor sending pvt messages in comchat. Isn't it simple? Why play? Respect her by telling the truth..if she keeps bugging you, then you can be harder on her :))
RE: Stalker ?
i agree with ez......if you wanna spare her feelings make it her choice not to want to bother you anymore......you gotta freak her out and act like a weirdo....it's your kindest option.
be direct
its best if you are honest and direct , no need to be rude tho.
if after being told to not bother you(thru mail) then tell CC about the harrassment, after that if she continues then just ignore her, and i think there is a way to blacklist her so she cant mail you. good luck

RE: Stalker ?
How old are you? 11? Yu can't figure out how to handel this?
Just treat her cc mail like spam or bulk mail, ignore it and move on. She will get the hint after a while.

RE: Stalker ?
I just logged on to cc and found not one but three ccMails from my stalker. She wrote like this - (1) - hi, i'm online where are u? when will u come see me? (2) did u go sleep? ok dream about me (3) good morning, did u dream about me?
Geez, she is persistent. I suppose I should be happy that there is a young lady out there who is interested in me. Too bad she's not my type. If she was I'd probably be in love, I mean lust now!! LOL
Anyway, looks like the direct approach is the way to go, so I will try that route once more. If it don't work, I may have to try and freak her out like EZ suggested. But it's not in my nature to be rude. After all she is always polite. And if that fails, I suppose I can always change my name. :)

RE: Stalker ?
ask her if u can have a 3some, u, her and her mum, that usually does the trick for me and if it doesn't then u at least have a interesting nite ahead
RE: Stalker ?
She is not interested in you or your personality. She is interested in your money. When it becomes clear you are never going to video she will move on. Time is money. On the other hand......she may be nuts and fly to America tonight and chop you into little pieces but hey.... that's not likely.
What the hell's up with me?
Why is it when I visit a host in vid and she wants to do anal or I request it, it's freaking fantastic to watch and play to, but when a lady offers anal in real life I pass.
What's up with that?

To everyone here.
I just wanted to say hello...been away for a while dealing w. some emotional baggage. Stopped by comchat a few days ago...and then realized how much I missed people here....even the snipers. ;P
I've seen a lot of posts here about stupid members and greedy hosts....but coming back I realized again how many good people are here. I also took a look at my spending here for the last 3 years...and although I could probably have bought a new car for that money....I don't regret having spent any of it. Those $$ bought me some companionship when I was down and out, I found love here, and hopefully I helped pay for some kid's education in the process. It's all good...

RE: To everyone here.
welcome back Azterix, you were missed:>D< and the pace wasnt the same without you! A big hug for you sweety!
RE: To everyone here.
WOW!..Hi, cool guy :-D...Welcome back! Here it was really a bit empty without you...Hope your emotional baggage is quite full now, but there always plenty of free space though :-)
RE: To everyone here.
welcome back we really miss ur wallet..opps, I mean ur uuhhhh....mmmm...hey just come visit us :D
Who came first
Who came first, the host or the viewer? (a question simular to the chicken and egg thing)
Rude/Nice
I see threads are tending to move away from who is the rudest member, and now looking at the rudest hosts. We seem to have two main contenders, Gortensia and DizzMissLiz, although, personally, I have never found them anything but charming.
How about a total change of direction and name the nicest members and hosts. (And I don't mean the big spenders or the hottest shows, but just plain nice and polite, easy to chat with).

RE: Rude/Nice
Why you consider only these two hosts (Gortensia and DizzMissLiz) in the contest of rudeness?.
Taking in consideration yr way to escape from the contest as you continue saying although, personally, I have never found them anything but charming.. I am inclined to beleive non of yr words.

RE: Rude/Nice
I mentioned those two hosts, cos they are the most recent additions to the rude host catalog. There have been others before and i am sure more will follow.
RE: Rude/Nice
the old give them enough rope & they will hang themselves routine.i for one,am not buying into a discussion that could have long lasting consequences.think carefully before you reply people.
RE: Rude/Nice
I have met two lovely polite ladies here and their names are YourSecret79 and 1SexyCat4u. Chat to them and let me know what you think. Oh they are sexy with it as well. :)
RE: Rude/Nice
Dear AnonEMous, I think you got this wrong. I don't know about Gort but I can tell you I have visited Dizz a number of times and there is not a rude bone in her sexy body. She is one of the prettiest, most intelligent hosts I have seen in my years here. Please get facts straight before posting.
RE: Rude/Nice
I made no comment at all about Liz, just commented on what had gone before, so you should read and get your facts right.
RE: Rude/Nice
I think perhaps you should try following your own advice RON. If you read Anon's post he states that he has found both hosts to never be anything but charming. The rudeness he refres to is he opinions of other members in other threads.
RE: Rude/Nice
I see you found a way point out thier rudness without actually saying it yourself. Nice tap dancing mouse, you willingness to commit ranks right there in the middle of the pack.
RE: Rude/Nice
This whole series of threads about some of the hosts looks like nothing but a lame attempt at promotion. I mean, just look at the anons starting up different threads about "gortensia", etc. Pretty cheap if you ask me, all his attention-whoring. I'm also pretty sure more than half of all the posts in replies are made by the same person - easy to trace the linguistic identity.
It seems someone's lacking viewers and needs attention badly, lol.

RE: Rude/Nice
Both are in Glamor! Who cares if they are Rude, it is not like I would be caught trying to chase after their tails, never go to anything lower class than little shy
RE: GoldMistress and CRUELBITCH???
It's been my exprience that the profiles here mean next to nothing anyway. I stopped paying much attention to them my 2nd day here.
RE: GoldMistress and CRUELBITCH???
Either one, or both, of them has changed their profiles since you posted or your and my idea of copying are two very different things.
RE: GoldMistress and CRUELBITCH???
just curious....how do u know she copied cruelbitch? could the the other way round...i agree with anja...seems like cruelbitch started this post herself
Member Age
A host asked me to estimate the average age of CC members. My estimate is as follows
18-25 5%
25-30 10%
30-40 20%
40-50 25%
50-60 30%
over 60 5%
What do you think?

RE: Member Age
hehe. then that would be the % who are over 95 ;) Wonder how many hosts realised that?! :P

RE: Member Age
my experience is 75% 60 and over , 15% is 50 to 60 years old, 5% -40 to 60% and 5% 25 to 40 years old
RE: Member Age
I am older then 50; therefore, that leaves me out for being in your favorite age - lol At least I am in the majority with the rest of the old guys.
RE: Member Age
Don't take it an offense please, I just made a perception :) Guys over 50 can be still very sexy :-PPP
RE: Member Age
That is okay, I did not take offense. Age does not bother me. I have enjoyed my years and still enjoy them. Young at heart is me.
RE: Member Age
I'm 45 but look like 35, whenever I let a host see my cam they are like "Wow, you are much younger then my other members". Maybe it's part of thier selling point to make me feel good, but when a sexy young lady is naked in front of me rubbing her pussy I don't need anymore selling techinques to make me feel good :)
RE: Member Age
when given the choice of joining aarp for $12 a year or cc for free and wiping out their 401k's the over 50 crowd chose the natural course. be happy girls
RE: Member Age
they all say you look great...even if you're wheeled in...of course as long as the $$ clock is ticking....
Big screen...HDTV
Anyone using a large screen LCD HDTV with CC? I am looking at a 32 inch and a 37 inch for the office. They have a standard monitor connection or I could put in a video card with HDTV out and hook it up that way. Just curious if anyone uses an LCD tv as a monitor and how CC looks with it.
RE: Big screen...HDTV
the picture quality is quite lacking as it is expanded of course. the ultimate criteria is the quality of the transmission (i.e. the quality of the cam the host uses). i have seen a few hosts with exceptional clarity but cant remember which ones except that one said she was using a Phillips cam which was produced excellent clarity. you could almost count individual hairs.
RE: Big screen...HDTV
I use a samsung 40 inch LCD tv connected to my pc. Using DVI connection from the graphics card and HDMI connection to the tv. Gr8 picture, viewing any web site, even watching downloaded films in AVI format.. :D
Best thing about it is that u can have a few windows open at same time and it doesn`t take up the whole screen or over lap another window. example, have a web page open and maybe 3-4 yahoo windows at the same time. :)
If i was u, depending on the space u have in ur room i would try going for a larger screen, as they are pretty cheap right now. :)
But good luck anyway with whatever tv u decide to buy:)

RE: Big screen...HDTV
So you're going to jack off in your office? eeewwww, I bet you're in the next issue of "Caught in the Act, Amazing videos".
RE: Big screen...HDTV
Wow, I guess you don't have much work to do if you can spend time in cc while at the office. Must be nice to get paid for wanking.
tell me what u think!
i have a bf for about 3 years.. he knows and aprooves that i am a chathost.. even finds it kinky.. BUT now he wants me to call a guy i met on the site to do a menaje a trois.. told him i won;t .. but he still insists . i don;t understand why .. maybe he doesn;t love me anymore? should i be worryed?
RE: tell me what u think!
if his idea of a menaje a trois involves 2 dudes i think you have good reason to be concerned.
RE: tell me what u think!
Yes you should be worried. If your bf is not prepared to accept your decision on a matter such as this then I am afraid it might be time to move on from him. Sure you might still love him, but it doesn't look much like that love is reciprocated. Sorry for the unwelcome advice.
RE: tell me what u think!
If he asked for another chick i would understand, but another guy? hmmm... maybe he's gay? :P
RE: tell me what u think!
Be VERY concerned if a man EVER wants to share you with a man OR a woman. In spite of what he may tell you, he doesn't love or respect you.
RE: tell me what u think!
what's the matter? most women would love to have a 3some with 2 men, lighten up, you'll have plenty of time when ur older to be straight and dull. :p
RE: tell me what u think!
How does the guy on the site feel about this? If a host asked me to meet up with here we can do a 3 way with her bf, I would say no thanks.
Forget all this speculating about what your bf thinks or feels about you, (does he love me anymore? what does this mean? etc) just ask him for the truth. Many people will thier views on the subject, but no one can know 100% because they are not in your relationship and can't possibly know how he feels or why he is asking for a 3 way. Just ask him.
BTW my idea of a 3way involves me and 2 porm magazines at once...:P

RE: tell me what u think!
Chathost, 'Actions speak louder than words.' The fact that he, a supposed bf, “approves" of what you are doing and even finds it "KINKY," says more about his intentions than any words with which he professes his love for you. Now he wants to up the ante and offer you to some stranger here on the site. Trust your instincts. Your refusal is on the mark. No one who loves you would do that. This guy is a pimp, not a boyfriend!
You wonder, "Maybe he doesn't love me any more." My sense is he never loved you in the first place. The truth may hurt, but it is a lot less hurtful than sustaining a lie. P
counsels you, with good sense, to stop all the torturous “speculation” and simply ask him the truth. However, I do not share P’s confidence that he will readily do that. His actions have already made the truth plain.
Beatle Fan and Firm offer sound advice. Alpha’s glib question, “What’s the matter?” and advice to “lighten up,” is either rooted in naiveté or a cynical disregard for the truth you seek. As for the bf’s insistence that you do what you don’t want to do, that is just another indicator of his total disregard for your feelings. Stick to your guns; don’t give in to his ignoble designs. Better yet, dump the guy.

RE: tell me what u think!
"love me anymore"...that a dead ringer for she never loved him in the first place or is getting tired of him simply.
RE: tell me what u think!
Well...you've been having a menage a thousand here...so why not grant him his wish for putting up with your career choice.
How do YOU act in this world?
I have just been reading some of the latest posts on this list and i fell across a statement about a guy being told he is a fool for being nice.
While reading the replies i get the oppionion that many have a very stereotypic perception on the type of people that is present here. Now i have been here some time and i have meet MANY people! both from the hosts side and also from the viewers side and what i have learned over and over again - people are NOT the same. There is visitors that tend to act from their worst side while other are really giving the best they have - the same is the case with their counterparts on the host side.
Okay, what is the point with this message? My point or my question to the rest of the readers is? how do you make sure that the visit you place at a host is going to be a good visit. Do you spend a long time in the free chat before entering the video session in order to get to know the host, or are you just jumping in and screams: bow before me bitch!
And for the hosts reading this, what do you do to make your visitors come back? Do you believe that a great show brings them back or do you believe in a warm and velcoming behavior is the winning style? Is this just a money highway or is it really a place to get to know people from a more personal side?
At the same time - how do you percieve the hosts/viewers?
I am truely aware that there is no two people that are alike, so perhaps this will give some interresting replies.

Hi, I'm the guy that posted the message you refer too. You ask very interesting questions and I look forward to reading all the replies you get. Thanks for such a good post. Cheers :))

RE: How do YOU act in this world?
You know what tobibobi? I act the same on this site as I would do in 'real' life, cos (unless CC has got VERY good at CGI!) all of the people on here are real people too so why behave any differently?
By the way, I hope no-one who I have ever met here will contradict me from their experiences when I say that I always try to act 'nice'!! Hehe.

RE: How do YOU act in this world?
generally not a jumper or a texter.hmmm interesting, now i'm going to pay more attention to my MO :--)
RE: How do YOU act in this world?
Im a member, only one :P and even i do behave different because sometimes i like a long txt-chat to know better, sometimes i like to see immediately etc... but always try be nice!
RE: How do YOU act in this world?
I think it is a question of who you are in real life. I find it is hard for normal people to always lie that you are nice while you are not, or to pretend you are "a bitch" while you are the kindest and the softest person inside. Even if this site is a place for performing and fantasies mostly, I am still sure it is the best way to stay the same person as you are in real. Even here you always can find someone who appreciates the natural relationships when no need to pretend so hard.
Money are still money, you can buy fantasy and sex but you cannot buy love and friendship, and that is fundamental truth. So, depends on what is the most important for everyone... imitation or real feelings. Those ones who are looking just for quick sex are losing so much really.
Answering on your question I would say that I have the viewers always coming back when I was the most sincere and natural.

RE: How do YOU act in this world?
Well i cannot say that i recieved the amount of replies that i expected - maybe most people feel to akward to tell these things.
However i am very pleased with the replies i have gotten so far - sounds like there are some sincere persons that are strong enough to not bend for the wind when it screams fool :-)
We can all learn from these outstanding examples. (also me)
Thx.

RE: How do YOU act in this world?
Nonetheless it was a good question tobibobi, and thank you for asking. If it is true that most members are older, as the Member Age thread would suggest, I would hope maturity would factor in to how viewers act towards others, esp hosts. Maturity doesn't always come with age, though. It is certainly easier to let go here... you just turn off the PC... and it is easy to dismiss someone if you're not interested in them. That may affect how viewers behave toward hosts.
And any relationship takes work, maybe especially here where you pays your money and you takes your chances.
In the end I agree with LG; it depends on who you are and what you seek. I know if I am not true to myself I cannot sustain a relationship, here or anywhere. I can be kind, and usually I am, but I have a nasty sense of humor too... not cruel or mean, just nasty. Long as you are nasty too, we can get along :-)

wondering
I would like to know why, when I post my messages about different problems, I always get sarcastic replies by DizzMissLiz. We never met, we didn't had a dinner together, and we'll never have. Can anyone, who knows her better explain it to me?
RE: wondering
maybe if you had taken her out to dinner you wouldn't get those comments.food fpr thought :--)

I would like to save the world, but I can do only the impossible, for the miracles I have to buy thecnology. Of course I haven't sence of humour, only clever people have it. But how Einstein said, only two things are infinite, the universe and the human stupidity, and on the first one he wasn'rt sure. So my dear, come down from your special heaven and live this fuc.ing life how all people try to do.
To be continued!!!

smoking
Do any ladies smoke brown cigarettes? Its my fetish, let me know and I will come and see and spend at least 5 minutes with you. I promise. Thank you.
RE: smoking
Dude, promising to spend only 5 minutes is not too enticing. Now if you'd had promised at least an hour, I bet you'd get more responses quicker. Don't you think? How long does it take to smoke a brown cigarette anyway? Only 5 minutes?
RE: smoking
Ooooooohhh!!! 5 whole minutes?? Aside from your brown cigarette fetish, it seems as though you have a fetish for not spending money, as well.
RE: Has anybody already seen No Country for old Men?
I read the book and it was excellent. The author also wrote "The Road" which was another good book though disturbing. I missed the movie in the theaters but it is coming out on DVD next week or the next. Anxious to see it.
RE: Has anybody already seen No Country for old Men?
A simple man...finds a lot of money that does not belong to him, and those who "lost" it, want it back, badly!
This movie is about murder, choice, money, power, truth, drug lords, drug money, it offers...justice, death, choice, "...heads or tails...friendo?", honor and a strange type of bushido.
The Coen Bros. have been making interesting movies for more than 20 years, Fargo, Miller's Crossing, and The Big Lebowski (my favorite). If you haven't seen any of these, rent them, they are worth a bag of popcorn in front of the TV.
IMHO "No Country..." may not be their best, but it is visually stylish, has an ambiguous ending, and is worth seeing.

Vantage point is ok movie. Best this year was "Juno".
I wonder if to meet one of my regulars
The thing is I'm married, the viewer doesn't know I'm married and I don't want to spoil the relationship with my husband lol. Need to figure out how to meet him and if to have sex with him then. I'm also afraid I won't be able to keep it secret for a long time, so not good at lying :( Maybe if I do it once it won't be so difficult after. I've read some sex outside of the marriage is very healthy. Have you tried?
RE: I wonder if to meet one of my regulars
wow... What about the husband?
Does a life partner not take precedence over a little pleasure and potential joy?
Seems a very selfish attitude, to advise someone that they should so deeply betray someone whom, we assume, loves them a great deal for such little gain.
I have to say, HOST, I think in this case it would be better for all concerned if you keep the member on the other side of the screen... You have a lot more to lose than he does from some little fling.

RE: I wonder if to meet one of my regulars
That's a rather irresponsible way of going through life...satisfying and sacrificing for the sake of pleasure...rather hedonistic...to say the least. You act as though there are not or might never be potential consequences for your behavior. I know a lot of people who think and act as you...so you do have company.
RE: I wonder if to meet one of my regulars
There's nothing hotter than screwing a married chick. Especially if she's hot enough to work here, and super-especially if she's married to a guy who absolutely loves her and would be emotionally devasted if he ever found out.
And then emailing him the surreptitiously taken video after you've flown home.... That's the hottest moment of all. ;-)

screwing a married chick is very dangerous. take it from me. ive been caught twice and barely lived to tell about it.
RE: I wonder if to meet one of my regulars
It's true, extramarital sex cures cancer.
I say go for it. Sneak him home while your hubby's away at work and hump him silly.

Ask yourself this....would you not care if your husband did the same thing behind your back?
RE: I wonder if to meet one of my regulars
Some advice...no good will come of this....forget it and keep it to videos. Trust me he isnt that good.
RE: I wonder if to meet one of my regulars ~ HOST
Hmmm, maybe I have just been on CC too long but why does this thread smell like a wind up to me? For starters it is posted in General when the most logical place to discuss meeting members would be in the hosts forum for _proper_ advice. And secondly can anyone really as clueless to say
"don't want to spoil the relationship with my husband lol. Need to figure out how to meet him and if to have sex with him then"
in the same breath?
Sorry, I don't buy it and anything that derives from this thread will at best be misplaced and at worst be totally bogus.
"How do I cheat on my partner and make him happy about it?" Did this book ever go to publication and I missed it? Hmmmm..
Very strange indeed.

are you ready to lose your family, to lose the love, the trust, the respect you have, for a man who will leave you after few days?
RE: I wonder if to meet one of my regulars
just ask your shelf 1 question...would you like it to be done to you...and there you have your own answer.
RE: I wonder if to meet one of my regulars
why would she want the same and have some dude to come and bugger her husband?
but by the same token, i think it would be a good thing for her to know that her husband is actually homosexual. it might actually shed some light of truth on why she would feel the need to have another guy come to have sex with her in the first place. and no one can disagree with that being a good thing, that's for sure.

RE: I wonder if to meet one of my regulars
Ty for the inputs. Of course I don't want to lose hubby and our relationship, that's why I don't plan to tell him. As far as I'm aware he hasn't ever cheated on me and I will probably be upset if I find out smth like this, so if he ever does it, he should make sure I don't realize it. The viewer is very intelligent and I will probably not be able to pretend I'm single for long. I just have a crush on him and want to see him and probably have a nice shag especially if he is hot in real as he is online :)
I asked if you have had sex outside your marriage, not to judge me and I'm not russian, why should I be lol

Oh that does it.. You're are so busted.. No foreign host would use the word shag in the same context as you just did.
This whole thread was a bogus attempt to stir up opinionated outrage at loose morals and see who would bite. Forget it. I stand by my opinion that this holds about as much credibility as Tony Blair writing his memoirs in which he single handedly saves the world from utter annihilation by the axis of evil brandishing Weapons of Mass Destruction targeted at the 7-11 KwikiMart by Bandbury roundabout.

A guy is hiking on the side of a mountain when he encounters a beast. The beast looks at him and says "Hi, I'm the Totally Awesome Snowman". "Wha...What did you say?" Asks a very confused hiker. "I'm the Totally Awesome Snowman". Now that he understands what the beast said, the hiker says "Oh, you mean the Abominable Snowman". The beast smiles and says "I prefer Totally Awesome Snowman". "But, historically, you are known as the Abominable Snowman". "I know, I know" says the beast, "Its just that I can't say Abominabubble"

Hi,
whats your opinion on meeting someone for sex, then falling in love with that person only for it to end. can you still be friends afterwards?

Depends on how it ended,
But seeing as you can not figure that out, I say you are too imature to have a serious relationship.
You are in the live in learn process of life. good luck you have a long way to go.

RE: sex, love and then friendship
maybe you are right.. it was a genuine question i asked here. But hey you cant help falling in love with someone even if we are both married to different spouses.
The hard bit.. is walking away and just shutting down emotions. Both she and I cannot do that bit. I am a believer in fate and we met for a reason. That is evident from our affections for one another - even now now after a massive fall out and trying to rebuild it as friendship only.
But the fall out is because its just impossible to have 2 lovers.. we are both a little crazy.. what turned out to be a flippant comment about meeting then snow balled into what is now.
Both our partners know whats been going on and even other chat host friends too.. I seeked advice because of really not knowing what to do...

RE: sex, love and then friendship
It is possible, but very difficult, and it may require that you swallow much hurt... are you prepared for him to fall for another woman? Are you prepared to wrestle with these feelings for months to come?
I know these feelings.
My suggestion is to step back, take a breath, and consider your options from a less involved point of view.

RE: personal questions...
Why wouldn't they ask these questions? Every question you have mentioned, I have been asked by hosts, and then some.
RE: personal questions...
Don't worry - most questions in chat at least are euphemisms for 'come to my vid now!', e.g. hru bb? what mood? how old? where u from? So, as ur answers are irrelevant, just reply as you wish, e.g. 'I'm 22, from Antartica, my mood is psychopathic.......'

I would think and expect people to just answer truthfully it is a chat forum (I know its basically porn biased) so be yourself cheers

Spyware Terminator & Web Security Guard
These are two very good & free programs to make the internet a safer place to be. They go together & offer realtime protection against viruses, adware, & spyware. Web Security Guard warns you if a site is trying to download potentially harmful content to your computer so you can block just the content & not the whole site. But sometimes it will warn you not to go on a site at all. Don't worry. It gives no warnings about CC

What is your opinion of the usefulness/performance of the 2 pieces of software mentioned?
RE: Spyware Terminator & Web Security Guard
With a MAC you don't need to worry about these issues. For my pc I use Bit Defender, ranked No1 by Consumer Reports. I've used it for almost 2 years and it is flawless. It costs about $60 a year and is well worth it. You get what you pay for.
RE: Spyware Terminator & Web Security Guard: To viewer9
I've tried Webroot Spysweeper & McAfee anti-virus & was disappointed in both. So I'll never pay for such programs again. You shouldn't have to worry about these issues with a MAC considering how much they cost. Does bit defender offer realtime protection?

Your days of gloating about a MAC being safe are coming to the end, they now have enough of the computer market to make them a target, so enjoy it while you can ;o)
blonde joke(with apolodies)
A blonde heard that milk baths would make her beautiful. She left a
note for her milkman to leave 25 gallons of milk.
When the milkman read the note, he felt there must be a mistake. He thought she probably meant 2.5 gallons. So he knocked on the door to clarify the point.
The blonde came to the door and the milkman said, 'I found your note
asking me to leave 25 gallons of milk. Did you mean 2.5 gallons?'
The blonde said, 'No. I want 25 gallons. I'm going to fill my bathtub up
with milk and take a milk bath so I can look young and beautiful again.'
The milkman asked, 'OK - 25 gallons it is. Do you
want it pasteurized?'
The blonde said, 'No, just up to my tits. I can splash it on my face'. :--)

RE: yahoo
Many hosts use a screen name from someone else and the profile information and host's name are not the same as the present host. Plus, many profiles are not true.
RE: members
you chat in text because you want to get a sense of who the girl is...perhaps as a result...they don't feel comfortable...maybe pressured...and would rather not move to video.
RE: members
To answer in chat means that u r kind and come to ur video chat could be confortable. Many hosts don't answer at all, and many know only the words Come in pvt.
RE: members
after then mins it's ok to say bye and close chat . But block? Are there so silly members that don't understand the meaning of the word "BYE"? Only Gortensia blocks without advertisement! lol
RE: members
and you think this is the best way to handle this by blocking? geeeeeeeeeze. is that the intended purpose of blocking????
RE: members
All this talk of blocking in recent threads has sure rattled some members, who seem to take it as a personal affront. Interesting to speculate on why it touches such a raw nerve.
RE: members
Eh...have you read your own profile? It isn't particularly comprehensive as to what a member might be led to expect from a visit to your room. Rather undermines your criticism i feel
RE: members
I usually do go to community chat to get to know a new host. I will chat for a while and then decide if I go to video. Even with friends I will text chat for a while to see if they are busy and I will always ask if it is okay to come to video at that time. I have been told before when it is not a good time to enter (They have somebody else in open video for example). I will then return another time. I do this out of respect for the host.
RE: members
Most profiles are fluff or generic and often ambiguous statements. They rarely give you a clear indication of what the host is like personally, what her limits are, what her videos will be like. The phrase...come to my video and I will make you happy has dozens of interpretations. Even when they are specific the rules can change. The girl who says she is very shy might wind up with a coke can up her butt. The one who says come to me for hot hot action won't even take off her hat in video. I would prefer if CC had hosts complete a form that clearly stated their preferences, what they do and dont do, etc. Sure it is more clinical but then members might read it.
RE: members
you must be an instant action host, coz I usally spend a couple minutes with the small talk before I get down to the nakedness (Hi, where you from?, what's ur name?, etc) but hey, If you want members to read profiles and then jum into vids with no small talk be prepared to take your panties off from the 1st minute.
RE: members
obviously because they take it personally and feel that in some cases that it is undeserved and blame cc for allowing this practice.
RE: members
it is indeed rude of members, but hosts can be rude also. It would be like for example; if the host accepted a 700 camera as a gift and than actually expected this person to pay for video. Can you believe how selfish this host appears?

The problems are a result of Woodrow Wilson taking the US off the Gold Standard in the 20's and now we are seeing the decline of the American Empire. By 2050 or sooner the US will be a Chinese colony.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
So...it;s Woody;s fault. Not Ronald Ray-Gun, Not George HW Bush, not this current administration that is spending 8 Billion $$$per month in Iraq.
Not the fact theat we borrow from the Chinese to pay the Saudi's...it's Woodrow Wilson's fault???

RE: What's going on with American economy?
The expenditures for the war in Iraq are being felt. When all is said and done we will have spent over 2 trillion dollars on the war. To put that in perspective...the USA could rebuild from scratch every public school, hospital and highway in the USA for that amount of money.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
yeah that hurts real bad i a 300 trillion dollar economy, try again
RE: What's going on with American economy?
Just think, isn't that crazy really what is going on? Doesn't it mean that we, people on this earth, have no power anymore to rule our own lives and to chose those leaders who can manage politics properly, saving money for humanity's real needs? Seems so...I am lost for words :(((((((
RE: What's going on with American economy?
You just now came to that conclusion ??? You are finally getting the picture...another step closer to maturity, cynicism, and despair.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
How much more will you have to spend before you start winning the peace? As you rightly state, you could have regenerated the entire US infrastructure. So where has all the money been spent, that a regular supply of electricity still cannot be guaranteed in Baghdad? I suspect we will start seeing some Iraq-sourced US names in the Forbes/Fortune rich lists in a few years time.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
I agree with Well. The cost of the war has definitely taken money from others parts of the economy and made it unstable. This has happened at other times in the history of the USA. (the depression of the early 30's) I do not think the USA can continue to do things around the world that drags down the economy in the USA. I think that we should start to take care of the USA and only do what is necessary to defend ourselves. In order for the war on terror to succeed all of the countries must become involved physically and economically. If they do not want to do this, then the USA should take care of USA and let other countries take care of themselves. People are always burnig the US flag and blaming a lot of things on the USA. We should pull back to our boundries and take care of ourselves if others do not want us there. Others will say that seperatism will not work in this time in the world, but I sure would like to try.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
isolationism will not work in modern world and hasn't for a century, and war did not cause the depression, in fact it was war that ended it, not the the policies of fdr, those actually added little to ending it. lack of liquidity and the fact that 90% of the cash in the US was held by 1% of the population. there were factors too, including bad investments made in europe by the US rich, but that could fill books
RE: What's going on with American economy?

It's intellectually dishonest... please knock it off.
It's intellectually dishonest... please knock it off.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
his remark discussed doing so much in the world, not necessarily war and the conv has nothing to do with intervention and i am no neo con. and you because you obviously know nothing about the economy , which is what the conv is about, could only pick that out to criticize and that is actually intellectualy dishonest. so we can assume you are in the left wing then?
RE: What's going on with American economy?
Where was Riv dicussing economic policy? He was questioning the simple economic cost of waging war and maintining a military presence around the world to protect allies who can well enough protect themselves.
That, in essence, is exactly what non-interventionism is... and from that stance to one of isolationism and its accompanying economic nationalism is quite a further leap for sure.

started as agreeing with well, the comment had more to do with well's comments should have been directed at him mostly, sorry for that misunderstanding
RE: What's going on with American economy?
wait riv's comment about war and the great depression was the only part of my comment directly related to him. fact of life is the war ended the depression for the US not started it, the rest was merely a part of the reason we are in recession now, which still has little or nothing to do with iraq
RE: What's going on with American economy?
You are a bit naive...about usa alturistic motives in "taking care" of the the rest of the world. They do it out of fear and monetary self-interest...that's why it will never be successful and ultimately harm other countries. That said...historically other countries do the same thing...usa simply has a broader reach and more "borrowed" bucks to throw around. There is chaos in the financial and housing markets at the moment with not end in sight. Other countries have been riding on the backs of the usa for years investing for their own self interest/greed propping up flawed economic policies. The ripple effect is widespread and its gonna get worse. I wouldn't wanna be taking the reigns to the next administration.

wow... too funny.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
A few points to make, first this is not an argument (as some would like it to be about Republicans vs. Democrats) it is about economic policy. Ronald Reagan, and now George Bush have incurred more debt than all other American Presidents...combined, that is a fact. A quick Google on Presidential economics will confirm that. So, throwing Carter's name against the wall is meaningless. While he may not have been a great President, his policies did not lead us to the brink of bankruptcy.
Secondly, the so-called "War on Terror" is a sham, a mis-guided effort in the wrong place, against the wrong enemy, fought with a strategy doomed to fail. Many international organizations agree on the following 1 million Iraqi civilians dead, 4 million Iraqis made refugee either inside or outside of their own country, oil at the highest price the world has ever seen, Al-Qaeda stronger than before conflict began, U.S military budget larger that all other countries in the world combined, does this sound like victory or strategy to anyone?
Lastly, if we were to discuss Democrat vs. Republican policy, I'll take Democrats thank you. THe CCC program of FDR, the National Parks Program, Social Security, Civil Rights Bill of 1964-5, public libraries, labor movement, Student loan program, insured bank deposits, all initiated or brought to fruition by Democrats.
Republicans? I'll take Lincoln, and Eisenhower, both of whom would find no home in today's Republican party.
I am not a Democrat, have never registered as a Democrat...I am a freedom lover, but any student of American history should know where the most democratic policies in this country started.

RE: What's going on with American economy?
Maybe you should pay some russian taxes baby...instead of buying that f**k'm pumps next week...lol
RE: What's going on with American economy?
Just look what has been slowly happening...the dollar is no longer the currency of safe haven...the US is no longer THE economic powerhouse and global leader of financial trade. It's going to take the next administration a whole lot longer to attempt to fix what the current administration has screwed up. It wont matter what you call it "non-interventionism or isolationism" we are going to have to protect our own asses starting very soon. The world is a different place but we have "leaders" that still act like we are the toughest guys on the block...until we get some intelligence at the top the path we are on just keeps getting darker.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
usa has credit problems unrelated to the dollar and the dollar has no effect on the typical american. as a matter of fact, it is good for exports. the only ones suffering are europeans being paid in dollars. as a side note the weak dollars favors the american tourist business for europeans traveling in the usa.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
To Non-E? Huh? Shall we ask the European, and Asian hosts that work on this site if a weak dollar is helpful to them? How about the hotels, touring companies, restaurants, and countless other industries that formerly thrived in part because of a strong dollar. Do you think it's good for Europe, and Canada, and Asia (excepting China) that the dollar is wilting?

in perfect agreement, the dollar cannot remain this low, it's a bad policy that the bush admin turned absolutely had a hand in doing and now they have no clue how to get out of it

RE: What's going on with American economy?
In rebuttal, the true number of Iraqi civilian casualties is very hard to calculate. The World Health Organization puts the figure at 150,000 - 200,000 after doing a door to door survey last year. They admit that figure may be low based on many factors. Even if the (i million) figure cannot be confirmed...yet, is the death toll of 150, 000 dead men, women, and children ok? Does that make the war less evil? As companies like Haliburton, KBR, and Blackwater, make hundreds of millions of dollars from death and misery from a war that never should have happened, are we going to sit behind our comfortable computers, and actually argue about the correctness of this mis- begotten policy?
Secondly, Reagan was not awesome...he was an old, senile, demagogue without a clue as to what was going on in his own administration...Oliver North and the war from the basement, ring a bell?
Also, again easy to check, had more members of his Administration convicted of felonies than any American president in history. Additionally his crime policies were racist, as was he.

RE: What's going on with American economy?
are you arguing for a pull-out of american forces in iraq then? and jut what wowuld you suppose would happen after ward, all tribal and sectarian differencesand hotilities will magically be healed once the "great satan" is gone?
no, we'll leave then be forced to return to quell the humanitarian tragedy.. after all that's always the left's excuse for waging war, right?

RE: What's going on with American economy?
wrong argument, you don't slander the GI's that way, they have nothing to do with haliburton and the others and the talk of them being dangerous amongst us when they come home is an outrageous lie, in fact they are less dangerous in society than the average citizen of their age in america. as fort whether the was is evil, i leave that for all you left and right wingers to decide, but keep in mind when you discuss that the animal they toppled killed at least 100,000 more of his own people for no legtimate reason and before u bring up the question of weapoms of mass destruction, yes the data was wrong but everyone thought he had them, he had used them ask the kurds and the iranians he slaughtered with it. even that argument doesn't hold water
besides if the brits hadn't artifically credated that country in 1921 by forcing three groups of people that hate each other into one place. iraq discussions could go on forever

lame argument. reagan as demagogue? and who used awesome. but better is the same tired crap that gets dragged out..republican bad...democrat good
how many scandals were the clintons invoved in, how about LBJ hiding the fact he was fighting a full scale war from his own economic advisors who when asked about it said if we thought we were fighting a war on that level we'd be in the office writing a tax bill. oops is that why we got a 10%surcharge on the already too high taxes for the era two years late......sorry, you'll have to find another argument other than one party is bad and the other good since they both suck to high hell
for every "fact you keep pulling out of some website or textbook saying one thing, the other side can find "facts: to counter it. try opening your own eyes and thinking on your own instead of what someone else tells you to think. big wide world out there to understand if you think it through without the arguements of either the right or the left

RE: What's going on with American economy?
As we are not going to change each other's minds...I'll just say this one more time. I am not a Democrat, never have been, and probably never will be. I did not support LBJ, and found his coduct in Vietnam reprehensible. The most courageous thing he ever did was sign the Civil Rights Act of 1965. This argument is not about left vs. right, Elephant vs. Donkey. IMHO, it is about a foreign policy that for over 40 years has used war as the engine to drive both the domestic economy and foreign policy, to the detriment of both. I notice that my facts aren't disputed just my tone. So, one more time, to argue that after we have wrongly invaded Iraq that we cannot pullout is a nonsensical circular argument, particularly since the Iraqi's when asked in polls again and again, say they want U.S. troops gone ASAP.
The world community, and Iraq's neighbors need to be involved in the reshaping of Iraq. The U.S. which is building the largest Embassy in the world in Iraq, has no credibility in the region except with the Saudi's (oil, weapons) and Israel (military partner, weapons). We need a more peaceful rational foreign policy, and a more balanced trade policy to help U.S. domestic growth.
That is factual, if you care to check, also having the world's largest military, and a larger military budget than all other countries combined, does not make us safer. Just ask yourselves, are we safer than we were 25 years ago, if we increase the budget...will we be safer 25 years from now?
Further starting wars in the wrong places, Cuba, Angola, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Iraq, and assassinating leaders (Lumuba, Allende, attempts on Castro and Chavez) we don't approve of is not the way to win hearts and minds.
I am a American, I love the ideals of the U.S when they are upheld, but when they are not...we must not be quiet.
America has more people in prison than China both in quantity, and per capita. Just today, President Bush vetoed a bill that would have made water boarding an outlaw technique. I am not OK with that.
Our economy is about to into recession, and the U.S. dollar is worth less than the Pound, Euro, and Canadian dollar is that alright with everyone?
I have said my piece...peace!

RE: What's going on with American economy?
your facts are disputed, you have no concept of the current problems with the economy. the war in iraq has next to nothing to do with it.
just pulling up stakes getting out of iraq is inviting genocide and which regional states are yuou counting on to help shpe their future...iran, syria, saudi arabia or were you thinking of pakistan, maybe even egypt. any of those make any sense
the world community? who the europeans? sure they will help same as they were sooooooooooo wiilling to help prevent genocide in bosnia, had to be dragged kciking and screaming into preventing that
as a final point you should be reminded that the french and the british created most of these states in the region out of next to nothing that you think the europeans can straighten out the region, sure proclaim some new kings perhaps or maybe they can figure out how the hell they created iraq anyway.
every point you have made is actually pointless and without a clue and most assuredly about why the economy and the dollar are in such bad shape.
actually there's no point in listening any further to someone calling themselves freedon lover and has no idea what freedom is

RE: What's going on with American economy?
regarding the former yugoslavia, it was actually blair who convinced clinton to bomb over the supposed genocide being committed by serbs against muslims.....subsesquent evidence has never proven anything more than all sides on the ground were intent on killing each other. but considering that the newly declared independent nation of kosovo is 90% muslim, you have to wonder which side was ultimately more effective in riding itself of the other.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
was meant for bosnia, where europe did have to get dragged in and why did the euros need the usa to handle either of them, being they are such world powers in their own right. besides this was an economic discussion that fl hijacked to spout political nonsense and not discussing world politics any further
RE: What's going on with American economy?
I was going to let my last comment be my last...but I see perhaps one more is called for. First, an educated person may have a different opinion without become insulting, or personal.
Second, saying you dispute my facts without saying how, or which facts you dispute is also not a proper debate. Dispute what? How? Do you dispute my facts about American military budget, about foreign leaders we have overthrown and murdered, dispute our President vetoing bill that would have stopped the CIA from waterboarding suspected "terrorists", dispute polls of Iraqi people in which they opined that American military should leave Iraq ASAP, dispute the theft of more than 10 billion US taxpayer dollars in the last five years, dispute the fact that Saddam Hussein was not behind the 9-11 attacks on the U.S., dispute that the US dollar is now worth less that the Pound, Euro, or Canadian dollar??? Which facts sir, are you disputing?
Anyone who believes that spending 25-30 billion dollars a month on this war is not affecting the American economy IMHO is incorrect. If it were not the case, we would not be financing the war by borrowing from the Chinese and Japanese, and we would not have become the largest debtor nation on Earth. Or do you also dispute that?
I don't mind arguing, or debating if you feel differently, I just suggest not being personal, and please provide some facts that would prove your point.
Lastly, I support the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, and some of my friends and relatives have fought and died defending this country.
Sir, I have a right (and a duty) as an American to express myself as I choose. That is why I am, and will remain...a freedom lover.
Peace

RE: What's going on with American economy?
didn't bother to read it, not discussing politics anymore, dont care enough about it, but i do know them...enjoy ur day
RE: What's going on with American economy?
The former Yugoslavia was a very fragile alliance of peoples with long standing historical antipathies---ultimately rooted in religious differences---artfully sewn together by the political genius of Tito. There was no one to fill his shoes upon his death and before long Milosevic was beating the war drum, invoking the memory of a 600 year old war between the Serbs and Croats that was more fundamentally a war of Orthodox Christians vs. Roman Christians.
The modern political alliances reflected this without expressly invoking religion. But religious leaders from each Rite assured its faithful of its moral rectitude, preaching a thinly veiled hatred of the enemy and an implicit justification for human slaughter---all in the name of God. The Muslims of Kosovo could not have surmounted the Orthodox Serbs without the expressed support of the more powerful Western (i.e. Roman) nations.

RE: What's going on with American economy?
"you have no concept of the current problems with the economy. the war in iraq has next to nothing to do with it." oh please...."Smart"Strike you need to freshen up on economics...whenever a country is at "war' it is THE major factor on that country's economic condition. Economics 101 dude.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
reading textbooks, especially one dealaing with ths tudy of economics 101 is silly, not reality based. better to read finance 101 then again i've had people quote me from that one too. doesn't work that way in reality. ask ur investment banker what the prob is with the economy. it's not the war, strike is right, the was is peanuts in a $3 trillion dollar economy and explain how the economy was booming for the first 4 years of it. you need to understand the credit markets and the reasont eh investment and commercial banks aren't lending. the investment banks have some cash now, they won't lend it, they can't, they need it to boost their reserves in the near future when the value of commercial real estate and other little goodies, are corrected on their books. doesn't sound like tanks to me either
RE: What's going on with American economy?
Americans have a nasty habit of spending money they don't have.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
I quite agree, and the aggressive marketing tactics of banks issuing credit cards encourage it. The credit card divisions of banks are the most profitable and deregulation has enabled banks to engage in unconscionable usury. It's loan sharking in a three piece suit.
RE: What's going on with American economy?
ahh, pandora that was a fine box you opened there :==)
RE: What's going on with American economy?
Yes, the dollar keeps falling. This is because the Federal Reserve keeps cutting interest rates. Why does the Federal Reserve keep cutting interest rates? The same reason the administration will be sending out tax rebate checks in May. The government wishes to stimulate the economy, so the USA does not enter a recession.
Why does the American economy need stimulating? Its simple, many Americans are starting to have problems spending as much as they used to spend. Americans **love** to spend. When housing prices were increasing, many Americans simply used their homes as ATMs. Now that they are in debt up to their eyeballs in a falling housing market, many Americans are in real financial trouble. Look for an increase in auto repossessions and credit card defaults in the next few months.
So what will be the consequences of current Federal Reserve & Administration actions? Please remember that this is only my opinion :-).
The US Dollar will continue to fall. US government debt will increase. The price of everything denominated in US Dollars will rise. Oil is denominated in US dollars, so look for the price of gasoline to increase, as they say in Boston, “wicked high” (I won’t even bring up the topic of peak oil – too doomish to mention ;) ).
Anyway, the return of inflation will cause further real financial trouble for more Americans, although Mr. Bernanke will not notice - the Federal Reserve does not include food prices and energy prices when they mention the “core” inflation rate. Apparentally, the Federal Reserve believes that Americans neither need to eat nor commute to work.
As US government debt becomes less attractive (because of the falling dollar), historical buyers of T-Bills (which includes many foreign governments, such as China, Japan, the UK and the Petroleum States) might look for alternate investments. Any guesses what they might buy? My guess would be commodities and companies that produce commodities. This will further increase American inflation and depress the US Dollar.
In short, the current actions of the Federal Reserve and the administration would cause them to fail macroeconomics 101. The fact that they are actually pursuing these actions is, for lack of a better word, fucked up.
But then again, Americans live in a country that cares about more important topics - like the previous employment of an “American Idol” contestant and the recurring Britney Spears train-wreck.

nice answer mike, but you forgot the next genius move the fed is atalking about. selling $200 billion doilars in t bills to wall street companies, so they can write down the junk paper against it. another stupid idea
