I almost always go to video with girls on less than 5*, except when one of my favourites happens to have them at the time; basically the rating isn't important and, like someone else says, means more to the hosts than the members. Question 2 is inapplicable to me as I avoid glamour.

Well actually, as the consensus of this thread is that most members seem to ignore the ratings anyway, it isn't really that unhelpful. I always give every host 5* too: good or bad they are only trying to earn a living like the rest of us.

Unfortunately my disdain for those members outweighs any desire I have to help other members.

I don't like them myself and would suggest that whatever you get should be discreet. Here's a way to judge. Get nicely dressed in your favourite "little black dress" that you would wear out to a special occaision, wedding etc. Then choose a spot that can't be seen in that outfit. In the end you'll be able to show it off when naked or in a swimsuit or maybe even a casual shorts and crop top but when you want to look elegant, or for a job interview no one will know your secret.

I don't think you need one but if you decide to do it, I agree with JB above that it should be small and discrete. It should be only visible in intimate settings such as with a bf (hopefully me). Ultimately, its your body and your decision. What do you care what others think. Just remember its virtually permanent.

Hmmm, i can't compare smoking and getting a tattoo.
Smoking ruins the health...not only the one's who does it but also affects the other people who unwilingly inhale their smoke.
The presence of a smoker among people who dont have this addiction can really disturb ( bad smell,cough,sore eyes...) ...this doesn't happen if someone has a tattoo.Not to mention that in many cases a tattoo is never noticed if it's placed in a body area which is usually covered by clothes...the smoke is always visible, can be felt..and can cause discomfort to the non-smokers.
All im trying to say is that i can't compare because having a tattoo doesnt affect the others,the only disturbing effect can be the fact that it doesn't correspond to some people's tastes...and beauty standards.The smoke affects the people in a deeper way...unpleasant physical reactions and sometimes even very deep...ruining their lungs aswell if they spend a long time among smokers.

I wondered if you thought non-smokers were more agressive on the smoking topic than smokers. Also, to be very specific, I have heard that former smokers are much more agressive non-smokers than those who have never smoked at all.

I must agree that from what i have seen and heard...the people who quit smoking are now more aggresive against this habbit.Judging how hard it is to quit drugs..because nicotine is one...i understand why they are so virulent.
It comes from the fact that someone who quit did it because realised how bad it is to do it...and how they poisoned themselves and also the people around them.Some of them even felt the nocive effects on themselves..difficult breath...or even worse things...they felt and understood the danger and now they feel like is their duty to fight and persuade others to quit aswell.
On the other hand is another reason...any addiction leave some traces in our brains...no matter if we quit long time ago.When an ex-addicted has to face the temptation is always difficult ...even if they are strong now ,the reminiscences in their brain will remind them of the tough times when they were fighting with the addiction...the withdrawal period...

I see the woman's body as something beautiful. The cleanest, the purest, the better. A woman's skin is soft, its the final touch to a beautiful body. I love to feel a woman's skinclean and warm and softly caress it with my thoughts while I see it. A woman's body is nature most perfect work of art and that's why most of us even pay to see. A tattoo is ink and distracts me, it reminds me of a grafitti on a street wall. I can understand a scar due to surgery, but a tattoo is a big turn off for me.

"arrogance" is exactly what makes most people ignorant and refrian them from watching the world as it is. Tattoos are mainly used in prison, by prostitutes and sailors (seamen or mariners) anywhere in the world. Tattoo is an ink mark on a body, like a graphic on a piece of paper. It doesn't really mean anything, but for some people its what they need in order to acquire certain strenght of confidence. In western part of the world the tattoos are not acceptable in society since it represents as tattoos are associated with negative stereotypes like the drunk sailor or the outlaw biker. It all depends where you live. So please open your mind and stop being so arrogant.

omg, were you born in 1910? You are so out of touch with the last 100 years of reality its funny. There are many reasons why the groups u mention get tattoos and why they became stereotypes, but throughout history people of all types have been interested in tattoos. I have been getting tattoos for over 25 years and don't regret one minute of it. I have never gotten any to show or impress other people. They are personal to me, every one. Women who have tattoos got them for what ever reason they wanted and if you don't like them you can choose another... :P

Generally speaking, i can't say i'm a big fan of tattoo's. I mean, it can look sexy in a woman if nicely done in the right places (like in an ankle, for example), but the thing is that most people tend to oversize them and ruin it all.
I would advise you to get a long-term drawing first (that usually last like 2-3 weeks) as close as the tattoo you want, just to check if you really like to see yourself in it and don't end up regretting later.

Sorry but it seems you don't understand. The tattoo is like permanent cheap jewelry. At best it can only compliment the beauty of and within a person. You cannot purchase beauty from an artist. Every natural curve, shape and move of a woman is desirable. Ink graffiti only distracts and marks this natural beauty.
However a beautiful body is not the source of a woman's allure. A woman’s outer appearance is a reflection of her inner character and inner beauty that flows out from within. Sorry but it seems you don't understand. The tattoo is like permanent cheap jewelry. At best it can only compliment the beauty of and within a person. You cannot purchase beauty from an artist. Every natural curve, shape and move of a woman is desirable. Ink graffiti only distracts and marks this natural beauty.

My first tattoo was done 34 years ago. It still looks good.
We have saying here,,,,only difference between tattooed people and non tattooed people,,,tattooed people don`t care if you have one or not. The other 5 also look good. My daughter just turn 18 yo,,,she got a nice tattoo in memory of her brother who died in a fire years ago.

paintings are a form of ink or paint, should they have stopped with the blank sheet of paper as this is the pure form? what they did was draw on it and produced this work of art that your getting so excited over, if anything this seems the same as putting a tattoo on bare skin.

Can you use imagine a situation ? Considering how judgmental you are i am not sure...your mind might be just as limited as your capacity of understanding is.Can you accept that us humans are not identical...we have different tastes and standards for beauty...a tattoo is something way too superficial to judge someone's character based on this.Besides this the tattoos can be very different aswell...some are not so pleasant for the eye maybe, some have not so smart messages...some might look vulgare...but there are also tattoos that look beautiful, or impress atleast because they are very well done...or because they express some really deep and intelligent message.

I understand your point of view and I must say its well put, but I am not from europe. I know in europe the tattoo is more common and accepted. I will not talk for all the men from the western part of the world, but I personally have my own standards as to whom to date and I know that the girl I would date will not have a tattoo. It's possible to find someone with a tattoo, if she happens to have then she has to be that she a great girl with a great personality and show great love and respect for me. But again, I dont think I will like it so much. Yes, I encountered the situation where I found tattoos in body places where it could not be easily seen, but honestly I was really disappointed and discouraged to continue any dating with these type of girls. Only the negative ideas comes to mind and i know a tattoo mostly doesn't mean a thing, but each of us think differently and we all have the right to our choices and opinions. For me a tattoo represents a form of choice, taste and ideology and I have my own too. I once dated a fashion model that got a tongue piercing.. I couldn't believe it and we broke up after a strong discussion in regards her choice to do it. I don't think anyone will be happy with someone that contradicts your tastes and ideology so that's why I would definitely not date any girl with a tattoo.

Get the tattoo draw on a piece of paper. Hang it on your wall in the same place for 3 or 4 years. After that if you still think it's cool then go ahead and get it. If you find yourself thinking it's time to get that ugly thing off the wall then why would you want it on your body?

For me, less is more. I don't like tats, but a small, well-placed one is okay. Same with piercings. I hate pierced tongues, for instance. But ears are ok, and so is the navel.

I think tattoos on some women are attractive but it has to go along with the whole presentation. If your body is perfect, like many of the women on CC why add something than is not as perfect? Its a little like putting a bumper sticker on a Ferrari. You are looking at something that is taking your breath away and your attention is drawn away to a tattoo that you start analyzing. Its a different side of the brain. I did see this incredible tattoo of a snake winding down a woman back that disappeared between her butt cheeks and then reemerged on the other side. However, that is all I remember about her, her tattoo, not her beauty.

Thanks for your well considered articulate response, M. I am sure you are a beacon of understanding and tolerance wherever you go. This is about personal preference and I am not ignorant as to whether I prefer something or not. I am a photographer and it makes my job harder shooting around them, airbrushing them out or trying tell my clients how a tramp stamp fits right in with my "Fun in the Sun" theme that I am shooting for their swimwear catalog that is targeted to 14 to 17 year olds. The most attractive models I have seen do not have them. Angelina Jolie has them but she also used to carry a vial of her husbands blood around her neck. I don't like tattoos on women. Sue me.

I'm personally not a fan of tattoos. Especially the ones that some girls get on their lower back. However I was on a night out with work colleagues the other night and noticed that one of the nicest girls I have ever met had a tattoo on her shoulder. It didn't change my opinion of her. I still think she is one of the nicest girls I have ever met :D

After I read all the posts, I gotta say my opinion too.:) Women feel the need to make a change from time to time, some of them choose to get a tattoo. I belive that once you get in mind to have a tattoo you wont get rid of the ideea untill you make it. After the pain you suffer you will be proud of your tattoo and if you are a strong woman you will love it all your life cos you assume the responsability of your decisions. I have 3 tattoos and I m not worried how they willl look in 40-50 years, maybe at that time will be a way to remove them if not I guess I will be a funny grandma :P:P

At this point she is continuing dialisis and her sugar is back in balance but the celulitus hasn't cleared up and they have implanted another stent to try to increase blood flow through her leg in hopes it will aid in getting the fluid and neutrients curculating. The last resort is to amputate ... from above or below the knee ... which is better than the whole leg but still not good at all.
the inner fear (aside from being a more serious brudon on the family with loosing a leg ... she fears that the removal of the leg will spell the end for her.
Her Mother passed away 6 months after a lower leg amputation. So its all of these emotional barriers that is conflicting with her health.
I trust and believe that each of you who call me a friend are at the very least hoping and wishing that things will work out for the best of my mother if not actually praying urgently with the very depths of your soul for her.
I have an idea ... if you want to send a card (digital or physical) to me for her I can show her these cards of people associated with me who are pulling for her recovery and her fight to get better and hopefully not loose her leg.
so here is my primary e mail address if you want to send e cards or notes of encouragement for her.

Dec 4, 2008 3:46 PM -- My mother is in the hospital again ... she has a bad case of Celulitus and if the doctors cant get it cleared out ... they have said that they may have to remove her right leg from the hip down. So I am pleading for any and every one who truely belives to pray for her inner strength, her will to fight and for God's assistance with guiding the doctors to find the right course of action and for her healing.

I think love can be mutual, but never the same intensity. One of the two loves the other more in my experience (I've been on both sides of this). Trust me, most of them do go through a struggle. I have videos all the time but still don't make enough for the living in my situation. So don't talk for every host. A lot of them can only dream of vacations like that. Plus these vacations that you saw on some pictures could be bought by chat host's boyfriends or parents or maybe those photos were simply made in photo shop. i think this was the best answer so far, 2 sides to each coin. Yes he shouldn't persist in asking for long free sessions while ur working but if u shared ur cam with him when u wasn't working and had ur nice time together then this probably wouldn't happen. Yoda... you may be bored, but your post was not boring. Yours was a very thoughtful response. I think spending that much time in free vid is unfair to the host, period. But also, friends are considerate of each other, and good friends find joy in each other's company. To me, that is the true quality of friendship. I think that is hard to find on cc, because of the nature of the relationship from the start, and the tendency of viewers and/or hosts to exploit the other. "Exploit" may be harsh, I admit... I myself hope that I am making friends here... but what I mean is that sometimes encounters are merely money transactions and nothing more.

Hi HDB, i have to agree with you, if the guy would expect to see her daily for 2-4 hours wouldnt be quite ok.Though, from my experience i bet that if he could see her daily he wouldnt stay always for such a long time.And, let's not forget that she mentioned that she is always busy...i am a host aswell and being always busy means good incomes..unless she is charging 0,5$/min.This should allow her a short break now and then if she really wants.
Anyway...when i talk to a certain friend the time is always flying so fast...as you said if there is a real friendship then the people enjoy each others company...and when we like something we hardly get enough...thats the human nature.But i bet that if he could get a small slice of cake more often, he wouldnt be so desoerate to eat the whole cake at once when he gets the chance.
I also agree with what you say about getting friends here...in 6 years i dont think i got more than 2 friends.And it happened unexpectedly...we are human beings here , we have a soul, senses...i never lose too much time trying to figure out what i feel.I pay attention to my own reactions and they speak for me.When i started to get in my videos the guys i consider friends 2 things were happening : first i was hapy and grinning,a few seconds later i felt sick because infront of my eyes i got the picture of me...holding the vacuum cleaner pipe...sucking the money from the guy's wallet lol.And it didnt feel right.In that moment it didnt matter that maybe when he first visited my was with the intention to see my goodies ( anyway he didnt unless i felt like showing lol)...i just knew i like the guy and if he liked me too then was simple...we are friends untill it happens something to prouve the opposite.But this needs good senses, some life experience and to be a good judge of characters.

i think in the best relationships both feel like they give more to the other one because of what gets lost in translation, and they don't care - they get joy in making the other happy.
of course it's much more common that one gives and the other only takes or just doesn't value the giving. often one abuses the love of the other.

Well, if he wants you to cum with him , i mean cam2cam=cum2cum then he feels like love-making and he cares for u / but if he only wants a free SHOW -A SHOW !- no matter what ur feelings or needs might be at that moment, then he doesn.t give a s***t for u/ plain and simple. Also, no bf no gf no husband and no wife nobody can DEMAND anything except when they can have one serious possibility in exchange to blackmail u. When a person has a DEMAND , well that person is already a client and he pays for a service. A relation between 2 people means a permanent "negociation" and mutual understanding, and not DEMANDS and even more not demands for FREE , lol... While there are always at least two sides to every story I can only offer a perspective based on what you have described. In my opinion, asking to see you on cam would not generally be unreasonable, except this is your job. Since you didn't mention whether he asks to see you naked during these sessions, I won't
assume he did or did not. I do think however, asking you to spend your working time, and in so doing limit your earning potential, is unreasonable and selfish. I can't really blame him for asking though as, if you go for it, he receives a nice ego inflation without having to deflate his wallet.

as its already been said he isnt really a "friend" if he EXPECTS u to constantly give free vids...and the fact he is giving u an ultimatum to "prove" ur friendship i think u already know that he is just using u...throw him to the curb and let him try and find someone else to do his persistant begging with...good luck :)

If the feelings of friendship are true on both sides then you each have a responsibility to show towards the other..1) he should not act in a way that compromises you or your earning potential; and 2) you should not be expecting him to pay to see you and should find a way to achieve this without compromising yourself.

As a member, I would not consider asking for a free show from my host, who I love dearly, for all of the reasons mentioned above: this is her job, her earning potential should not be limited, etc. I do believe, however, that it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world for a host to make offers to their "regulars" or those they consider firends. Not a free show, but maybe a discounted day, or even just an hour. We like to maintain our friendships with the hosts and it is not improper to have hosts recognize certain members and give then some "benefits," at least on a limited basis.

If you use the "search chathosts" feature you'll find lots of girls claiming Sweden, Denmark and Norway as home. Good luck in your search.

Actually if you try those country searches as suggested you will find very few, even less that have been online in living memory and, in fact, mostly boys. I am afraid The North's search will be in vain. I did once (5 years ago?) have some amazing videos with a host who claimed to be in Finland and a studio boss, though her name escapes me now.
