i actually organised myself,so i didn't have to spend christmas with my family.my thinking being that why,on the most festive of days,should those closest to me be punished by having to look at my sorry ass all day.it was the best(& cheapest)gift i could give them.so if you are all good blues & oranges next year,maybe i might leave you alone for Christmas 2009!! :--)

Ok, I hate to be so cynical at holiday time, but this is ridiculous.

Members mostly come here to wank. Period! Yes, once here, they will meet some nice hosts and maybe even become friends (although usually just online friends) but that is not why they first came most of the time.

Ever notice that the vast majority of hosts are in adult categories, and that most of the adult categories are hard core? Why do you think that is? Sure you can makes friends in the process, and it is always better to be nice than to be rude, but your post makes it seem like we are all just one big happy family and love each other and the world is great. Sorry, I wish that were true, but it isn't.

In fact, while they often come first to wank, many guys stay in video longer because they are lonely and susceptible to a young pretty host with a smile. It is actually kind of pathetic and sad in many ways.

If this site and others like it were all about everyone being friendly and meeting nice people, first, most categories would not be adult and second, you wouldn't need to pay to chat, or at least not so much. There are plenty of free sites to chat on so why do you think we are all here?

What really goes on is that each host has a few favorites that she sincerely likes and the rest are just customers, and most of those customers are wanking to her or at least often started off whent hey first met by wanking or wanting to. And those favorites show their loyalty by spending hours in video to such an extent that no amount of prizes will ever offset the amount they spend here.

What do hosts do? The chat and chat and chat and rake in the cash. They take advantage of members' need to wank and lonliness. That is what is going on here. That is life, and I don't have a problem with it. CC fulfills a useful role in what can be a not so friendly world.

Yes, friendships can be formed, but your post acts as if we are all shocked that a pretty woman can have a brain and be a nice person. I have met many smart, friendly, beautiful women outside of CC so why should I be surprised to find that they exist here too?

I think that you make much too much out of the importance of CC or contests or anything else. Amazing as it might seem, there is a world outside of CC. This site exists to have fun... and that is why people pay... to have fun. It isn't about making friends or getting married. What are there? Mybe 10 nonadult hosts on at any one time and how many really expect to make friends or find a husband? What they expected to find was money. That is why they are here.

CC is about sex and making lonely guys feel a little less lonely. No matter how many times you tell me that a guy came here just to have someone to talk to, I would always ask "Why here?" Why is an older guy here to talk to women most of whom are a lot younger and just happen to be wearing little clothing? Why pay?

There are dozens of free chatrooms. And if a host really cared, sooner or later, wouldn't she stop the meter or give a lower price and password or something. Yes, that happens but how often?

CC is about fun and just enjoying yourself. It isn't the center of the universe, and it isn't about peace on earth and good will towards
men. And if you respected women and people before you got to CC, you would never need a contest to teach you that hosts can be smart too.

What were you expecting this site to be? It is an adult site that primarily has adult hosts, most of whom are in hard core, and you yourself are not in a non adult category. Making friends is secondary to the reality that guys come here to see hot women and play most of the time. Why would you have expected anything else?

I would agree, most members are here for a specific purpose. You only have to spend some time in text chat with a host when another member or two forgets to turn on "private" to see that most members cut right to the chase. They want to wank and make no bones about it (so to speak).

And I would agree making money is certainly a main motivation for the majority of hosts, and the contests serve to generate more cash flow. I understand that. And, like you, I don't need a contest to know that many hosts are very intelligent... sexiness alone would not sustain my interest in them. But I would venture to say some hosts actually have fun too, either in sessions, or in game playing, or just chatting with their favorite members, and they are not solely motivated by money.

And also, loneliness is not only something that guys feel here. It is often unspoken by hosts, but it is there, and I feel it.

So to all my current and future favorite hosts, Merry Christmas, and may the New Year bless you.

yes you are right. I am not cheap too that's why I didn't want to annoy my members with the game. I had pretty much video when I was online during the contest and a saw that NOONE of my members wanted to even open one letter! I only succedded with one member, who by the way didnt want to play too, when I suggested the solution for the word,...and at the end of our video he entered the word and it was right.

about your comment about free videos, my own experience at other sites is that i join pay at least 50% of the time. sure lots of free loaders but also lots of customers.

With all due respect, I am NOT going to go visit a host just because it would be nice to see somebody else win for a change. In fact, I've never won, so how about I make a session for the next contest and everyone visit me?

Moreover, while I have no idea if this was all just clever advertising or a set of sincere posts on her part, I am NOT going to reward any host that posts during contests by jumping into her video. That would be the WORST POSSIBLE precedent to set here. I see enough meaningless posts by hosts trying to get members to join them in contests. I do not want to encourage more of such posts although I will admit this contest has been less problematic in that regard. That doesn't mean that I wouldn't enter a host's video just because she posts, but other than the obvious effect of getting my attention and getting me to check out her profile, it isn't going to have an effect. If I like what I see, then I will enter video, but not do so beause of sympathy or because it would be nice for somebody else to win.

Having said all of this, I have been in southamerica's video chat before and found her to be nice invidual and wish her well. And while, ironically, the one time that I did enter her video was because of one of her posts (it was a reply to my post), I am NOT suggesting that then or now she posts just to get attention. I am sure all hosts use their names with posts as opposed to members usuallly not doing so to get some publicity, but I have no idea if this was all one big advertsing campaign or a sincere series of posts on her part. If I were to guess, it was probably a little of both.

Anyway, she is a nice person, and I wish her well. She hasn't done anything wrong or unusual or overly-annoying. In fact, I hope she does get a prize because she is a nice person and it would be nice to see some new winners. But I am not going to just jump into her video to make that happen. She can win the way all other hosts do it... earn it! Popular hosts are popular because members like them and this helps them win pure and simple. If she can do it, great, if not, better luck next time.

She is a nice person with friendly posts so it gets people's attention, just like it did with me, but that doesn't make her more worthy of winning than anybody else here.

Thing is, the prizes are not awarded in order of who gets most points.....all top 50 hosts go into a lottery and winners drawn at random. Just that whoever is in #1 position gets 50 entries in the lottery, #2 has 49 entries and #50 has 1 entry. being in top 10 points wise doesn't mean they will win at all.

We have all seen that incongruity and the debate this new system has caused.

BUT a 3.9% chance for first is better than a .08% chance for 50th. 10th place give a 3.14% chance and doesn't take that much time or effort to have a chance in the lottery Then randomness sets in...lol
