yes, i know this is not 'technically' a dating site. i have grown close with a host on here. it is difficult for me to see her often because of how much money i make. and yet every time i suggest that we start a 'real' relationship and videochat on yahoo or something like that, she gets extremely mad at me.

I've said this before a few times... this site is different things to different people. For most folks, it's a porn site where they jerk off to chicks stripping, sticking objects in their asses, etc. Which is great.
For some folks, however - and I'd count myself as one - this is a "foreign adventure planning site." If you ask the host about this.. she will probably say the same.. "this is a porn site".. or "this is a fantasy site". But i had the same experience and felt the same as you. My recommendation.. use the site as it is designed and let her be your porn. If you have been paying only to chat.. stop! Make her earn your money, because your money has been much too easy! You draw conclusions for which there is no evidence when you tell anon that he has been had. Maybe he has had adult shows from her in video, or maybe the host is in a non-adult category. There is nothing in his post that suggests she has deceived him in any way.

I am not surprised she gets mad at you for suggesting you videochat with her in yahoo. Hosts get requests from members to videochat in yahoo almost every day. You are effectively asking her to work for you for free whilst preventing her from earning money in video on CC. If she works in a studio it could cause her big problems with her boss. It must make her wonder how much you really care for her or understand her situation. If you want to see how the two of you get along in a non-cc relationship suggest that you chat in yahoo but in texy only without requesting her to send her cam. I agree with angel and have another analogy. Imagine you meet a girl who works in or even owns a bar. You come to her bar regularly as a paying customer and the two of you get along well. Obviously none of us can know what is in the hosts heart, but the information you have provided suggests that the host is NOT interested in a real relationship with you. IMO, this is a fantasy site and hosts are here to play a role for a fee. It is a job for them and a fantasy for us.

I always get zero or three. Never one, never two.

I certainly do not hate cats and in fact had one as a pet for a while (it was homeless and kind of moved in itself - although this was before it became homeless). But it was very unfriendly only paying you attention when he or she wanted fed (I never did figure out what sex it was).
However I have had several dogs and the love you get from them is amazing. The pleasure I have had walking along the beach with them on a summers day or a cold winters morning is also something I never got from a cat.
Plus you can't come home blind drunk and tell a cat all your problems or about the girl you have drunkenly fallen in love with.
I also had one dog that had been treated badly by it's previous owner and one day she was sick in the house. She then went and got an item of clothing and attempted to hide the sick under it before hiding behind the settee. If it had been a cat it would have watched as I stepped in the sick and then laughed :P
