sudden loss
doddle4 has passed away suddenly on the 5th of dec any host that knew him,his final wish was to say goodbye and takecare to you all, from a friend of doddle4.
RE: sudden loss & anyone that knew him
Thank u for the post JustinKase.....
There is not much that one can say to change or make this time any easier..all we can do is remember his smile, his laugh and hold him close to our heart.
He will be very much missed....he was a very dear and sweet man with a wonderful heart, spirit and soul....he was kind, respectful..and very caring and thoughtful...
Anyone that got to know him was very lucky...
I am sure he is now in a better place where there is no pain or hurt or anything but sunshine and happiness....
My prayers and thoughts are with u and the family through this time...he will always be in my heart for the person he was...
I have noticed that when ever someone passes on...that I have known there has always been a rainbow...I am sure that there will be a rainbow bigger and brighter, because that is the type of person he was....
To Justin....u and I know that he touched many people's lives...and we were the lucky ones to he let in ..a candle will be light a candle next week...huggggggggggg
Good bye to u my dear friend...I know u will be watching over us..even those that did not show u the kindness that u showed them....
May u rest in peace....
huggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

Count Down and Joke
22 days to 2011,,,, another year,,,and counting the days down for a "Big Change",,hope you all are to. Well while im posting this here I will tell a joke too: A man and his wife go to their honeymoon hotel for their 25th anniversary, as the couple reflected on that magical evening 25 years ago, the wife asked the husband, "When you first saw my naked body in front of you, what was going through your mind?" The husband replied, "All I wanted to do was to fuck your brains out, and suck your tits dry." Then, as the wife undressed, she asked, "What are you thinking now?" He replied, "It looks as if I did a pretty good job."
RE: what gift u want when u meet ur fav host for Christmas
I would like her to behave as if we met somewhere other than CC and were beginning a normal relationship from step one. I would like nothing from her other than the time to prove I was a good man. For her I would give every effort to get to know her, her culture, family and friends and see if something wonderful happens.
RE: what gift u want when u meet ur fav host for Christmas
Awwwwwwwwww)))))))) Aint u shweet?)))))))
RE: what gift u want when u meet ur fav host for Christmas
I would not want a gift but I would get Monika anything that she desired. :)
RE: what gift u want when u meet ur fav host for Christmas
Definetely sexy lingerie for her, and for me...just for her to be close to me for the entire time I am there. We would act out what we talk about online....from the passionate love making, seeing a movie, to just going for a walk.
I'm not too concerned about if I will like her, I'm not so perfect myself...if she is the person that I see in her eyes, then I'm happy. If she doesnt like me, well .... you tell me, what should she do? :)
Good post btwy. :))

RE: what gift u want when u meet ur fav host for Christmas
I have met several hosts, many just as friends, and I have always found they are more attractive in real than in cyber. Webcams are not flattering.
RE: what gift u want when u meet ur fav host for Christmas
The gift I want is that she promises never to show up at my front door again because my wife might be home next time. ;)
RE: what gift u want when u meet ur fav host for Christmas
I'll give you a clue ..... it costs nothing! :p
Avr0ra and Global Warming
We all know now that man made global warming is one of the biggest hoaxes in the history of mankind. Scientists and politicians have manipulated this debate to make alot of money and increase their power. Shame on them for betraying all of us for there selfish gains.
One host that will certainly "warm you up" is Avr0ra. She will not only warm you but make you so very very hot. She is extremely sexy and erotic. Avr0ra will not disappoint you. . . . .

RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
I have a smidgen more intelligence, and don't wish to be included within that "we".
RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
The truth is no one knows for sure. 30,000 scientists have signed a statement that global warming is not caused by human activity. Rather it is, they say a naturally occuring cycle of nature. I for one think there is truth on both sides. Certainly all our pollutants from cars, and factories, and other means, is not good for the environment nor our health. I believe that the major source of global warming is a normal environmental cycle in which overall temperatures grow warmer. But I also believe that we as humans are contributing to the problem, though not nearly to the extent that it has become the watchword of politicians and profiteers
RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
Well I hope you are right about Avr0ra because you are certainly wrong about the biggest hoax thing. :)
Cheers.
Cheers.
RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
anyone who believes in man made global warming is..shall we say...an idiot...global warming...of course..its called the big ball of nuclear explosions in space called the sun...so...if u think global warming is made made...then i guess..u didnt read about oh..those so called "experts" trying to change the data showing earth is actually cooling..but i guess a wacko enviromentalist would say that everything is caused by man....typical green movenment hypocricy...like al gore flying in a private plane..but lecturing everyone else to conserve..hahaha...oh..he did invent the internet..so he must be telling the truth...hahaha
RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
So yeh the sun is in an overextended cycle, the polar caps are melting.....hold on.....there are naked girls on this site, what the hell? And look they are gorgeous, and and they talk to you...wow, what a concept!!
RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
Thank you obikogkenobi for the grade six science lesson. One thing though, the scientists that support global climate change theories have better than grade six education. Most of them have PhDs and most of those (97%) agree that global warming is a measured phenomenon. We are the stewards of this Earth and we owe it to our kids and to future generations to pay attention to what our scientists tell us. We don't get to use a few hacked emails, the words of a very few dissenters, or nonsensical global conspiracy theories to ignore scientists just because they tell us something we don't want to believe.
Do you watch Fox News by any chance?

T - Insulting another member does not make you appear more intelligent.
Your facts (also) are wrong. Your %'s are wrong. More and more scientists and politicians are leaving your dark side for the light (use the force for good like obiwan).
Didn't you notice the environmental jihadi's (yes it's become a religion) changed the term "global warming" to "Climate Change" - that is because for about the last 13 years we have been in a cycle of global COOLING and that fact didn't match up with some scientists greedy desires for 'research money' (yes PhD's want jobs too) or the ambitions of some self important politicians for more power and control (bigger gov't / world gov't).
Yes we are to be good stewards of the earth, nature, and the environment, however HUMANS (including those precious ones still in the womb) are more important than darter snails, elk in the artic circle, or atmospheric carbon (yes that IS Plant Food).
If every human on earth did what Al Gore commands us (but not himself) to do - it would not change something so vast as the atmosphere. (yes It pays to Go Green! The washed up Al Gore's Net Worth Jumped from $2 Million (2000) to in excess of $100 Million (2009) and he is now a Nobel Global Prophet to boot!!)
BTW - Avr0ra is one supernova hot hot young lady!
P.S. - do you use those mercury laden toxic CFL lightbulbs (yes we were recently asked to turn in our old mercury laden thermometers) that cause hazardous contamination when broken, and require special environmentally safe disposal? Their vibrations can trigger migraine headaches in some people.
. . . and I don't watch Fox, and in fact I infrequently watch TV (my little contribution to your carbon offsets)

RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
K incorrectly accusing somebody of insulting another member doesn't make your posts appear any more intelligent unless the person you are addressing actually insulted the other member. :) Reread the post: I insulted his post – his ideas if you will – and that is fair game. The post I insulted was the one in which he called anybody who supports global warming/climate change theories an "idiot". ;)
Here is a quote to support the percentages that you dismissed too quickly. (I'd provide a link but I am not sure this site allows it). "In our survey, the most specialized and knowledgeable respondents (with regard to climate change) are those who listed climate science as their area of expertise and who also have published more than 50% of their recent peer-reviewed papers on the subject of climate change (79 individuals in total). Of these specialists, 96.2% (76 of 79) answered “risen” to question 1 [mean global temperatures have risen since pre-1800] and 97.4% (75 of 77) answered yes to question 2. [human activity is a significant contributing factor].”
Which brings me back to my initial position: Lets pay attention to the people who are sufficiently qualified to know and those would be real climate scientists, about 97% of them.
Your assertion about temperatures going down in recent years is not only misleading, it is pretty much wrong in the context in which you present it. Annual global average temperatures have both risen and fallen over the past 11 years, and while there have been some relatively cooler years during that period -- including a decline in each of the past three relative to the year before -- climate scientists reject the idea that those temperatures are any indication that global warming is slowing or does not exist. Scientists have identified a long-term warming trend spanning several decades that is independent from the normal climate variability.
Do you really need me to disagree with the rest of your post? Calling scientists jihadi's [sic] seems is just name calling. The term “global warming” is still used; so is “climate change “ so that proves nothing. The talk about how humans are more important than animals is irrelevant because we are all living on the same planet.
Glad to hear about Avr0ra. :)

RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
t: - Your equating obikogkenobi's thinking and his post as " grade six science lesson" is certainly belittling an adult member & insulting his plain language arguments. Dismissing something as " grade six" simply because you disagree with him & his position is certainly dramatic speach - - but lacks facts, is lame, ineffective & dishonest debate. (Sounds like someone who works in the white h@use who is known for great talk but inexperienced and ineffective logic & action.)
As for t's quote: - 1. 1800 AD is much further back than the "about 13 years of falling temperatures" that I pointed out (your comparing apples to oranges = more dishonest 'science', & it also reminds me of the 'liars figure and figures lie' quote). In fact just today on the radio I heard a news report that 'in the last 12 years the global temperatures have went down' (that means cooler for all you PhD's).
It does not take a Phd to look at temperatures & see over the last 13 years the TREND IS COOLER - in fact your favorite grade six student could see that. As for me I think the earth's climate is always changing. "Greenland" is a good example - lots of ice there now but it was lush green a while back (and the change occured long before industrialization).
2. 97% is not accurate - maybe it refers to 97% of those scientists' ancestral peers who proclaimed the earth was flat.
3. The Earth's moon and Mars have recently been noted as having similar 'climate change' - again your favorite grade six student could confirm there is no significant human activity nor SUV's on the moon or Mars. (even Al 'Moon Beam' Gore the soon to be 1st 'green billionaire' has not flown his private jet there yet). So it can be seen man-made carbon dioxide (CO2) is not the source of climate change there, something else must be happening. . . . .
3. Many organizations who are global warming profiteers get their 'false' facts from the notorious University of East Anglia's Climactic Research Unit (CRU). They are just one such organization (how many more are shredding evidence now?) caught 'cooking' the numbers to fit their profitable chicken-little 'the sky is falling' scheme. How dare they continue to call themselves "scientists" whom t seems to put on a pedestal & feel are beyong reproach by non-scientists.
"Lets pay attention to the people who are qualified....": -
Maybe you have forgotten about 'the scientific method' but consensus does not rule in science - even if just one otherwise respected scientist objects to a methodology or a conclusion, then his objection must be disproved & not ignored, nor covered over with fraudulent data from a false fact factory in East Anglia, UK. (12 of the 26 scientists who wrote the relevant section of a UN global warming report are "up to their necks in ClimateGate.")
Most of the doom and gloom 'climate changers' are stating is from computer models. These computer models are flawed, full of speculation and of course when you put false data into the computer you get false data out - that in turn fuels false predictions. 'Climate scientists' cannot accurately predict the weather 10 days from now, much less 10 years from now. Will you let "experts" think and live your life for you?
Here is some "qualified" scientists for you:
The World's Most Famous Hurricane Expert Colorado State University's William Gray: Three years ago he described global warming as a hoax "I am of the opinion that this is one of the greatest hoaxes ever perpetrated on the American people."
Richard S. Lindzen - the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology: there is no substantive basis for predictions of sizeable global warming due to observed increases in minor greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and chlorofluorocarbons.
Australia's most eminent geologist: Ian Plimer, Professor of Mining Geology at the University of Adelaide. Much of what we have read about climate change, he argues, is rubbish, especially the computer modelling on which much current scientific opinion is based, which he describes as "primitive". "To reduce modern climate change to one variable, CO2, or a small proportion of one variable - human-induced CO2 - is not science. To try to predict the future based on just one variable (CO2) in extraordinarily complex natural systems is folly.
William Happer Princeton, the Cyrus Fogg Brackett Professor of Physics, said “Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. Every time you exhale, you exhale air that has 4 percent carbon dioxide. To say that that’s a pollutant just boggles my mind. What used to be science has turned into a cult.”
Sweden's Scientist who actually went to the artic and counted the polar bears, He reports there are 4 times more polar bears now than 40 years ago. It is true the habitat is changing - but then it is constantly changing (the ice sheet is declining on one side of the continent, but growing on the other side).
A Founder of the Weather Channel: Meteorologist John Coleman says the campaign to promote the theory of man-made global warming is "the greatest scam in history." He calls it a "manufactured crisis" by "dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives" who have "manipulated long-term scientific data to create an illusion of rapid global warming."
And some politicians:
U.S. Representative Ron Paul, R-Texas, has urged members of Congress to consider the joint opinion of 31,486 American scientists, including 9,029 with PhDs, who believe humans likely have little or nothing to do with any "global warming." (petitionproject dot org )
President of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus and rotational President of the European Union: Global Warming is a Politician's 'Myth'.
Australia just voted down global warming legislation.
Among real scientists, there is a diversity of views with divergent claims. This false 'consensus' and 'the science is settled' is a phony construct of politicians, academia and media. "Your" science is now clearly suspect and needs re-verification by independent auditors who are not in the ClimateGate 'club'. Normally this would be called "theory disproved", but when trillions of dollar$ and 100,000's of careers depend on it being true, it tends to linger on.
Have you noticed a majority of those brave scientists who oppose the man-made climate change theory are older tenured scientists, or retired scientists? The younger ones are under tremendous pressure to toe the line on this ideological hoax. As I said before its about money and power - both of which are hiding behind 'this is the last chance we may have to save the world' hysteria. (Follow the money ).
The hypocrisy here is just blatant for everybody to see. This Coppenhagen climate change coven (fraught with 1,200 + limo's, 190 + private airplanes, and small mountains of caviar) is damaging the environment more than some small countries.
This is jihadism: - environmental jihadism. It is not just these scientists but government, academia, environmentalists, socialists & the media. This enviro-jihadism is being perpetrated on the people around the world for a political-religious belief. This entire global warming ideological cabal has taken on religious tones. There are many people in this hoax, A) some really believe it, almost religious-like, that the environment is 'god' and we better not mess with it, we better not tamper with it, and it must not change from the near-past pristine state. B) Then there are the ideological hoaxers who are responsible for creating the kind of people who have propagandized and maleducated you with a revolutionary utopian fever reverend t.
'Liberals' have gone AWOL in the fight against Islamic totalitarianism, just as liberals opted out of the war against Communism. Liberals fought anti-Communists much more than they fought Communists, they fight anti-Islamists much more than they fight Islamists. But like nearly all people who believe in a cause, they know that they have to fight some evil -- after all, the world really seems threatened by something. So they have channeled their desire to fight threats to the world by fighting an enemy that will not hurt them or their loved ones -- man-made carbon dioxide emissions. It is much easier to fight global warming than to fight human evil.
reflects the primacy of environmental concerns over moral concerns.
Destroying the worlds' most successful economies & making everyone (except the hypocritical global warming "royals") equally poor and miserable will not lead to better stewardship of the environment that you want your children to enjoy.
P.S. - There is something called the "Archimedes Principle: when a less dense solid like ice melts in a liquid like water, the liquid level drops." (try it - put ice cubes in a glass, then fill the glass to the very top, as the ice melts the liquid will not overflow, but will drop).

It doesn't matter if you believe Elvis is still alive, or that man never landed on the moon, or that the CIA killed Kennedy: they are harmless conspiracy theories and you may feel free to indulge yourselves, if that is your bent. But please try and keep debate on the earth's (and our childrens') future objective, pertinent and scientific.

so tiggs..u dont find it interesting that some of these "phd" scientist were caught changing "data" to fit their global warming hoax...they changed data that proved the earth is cooling..not warming...like i said..man mad global warming is a scam...natural global warming i believe...but if u actually think humans can actually with all. their pollution cause ice caps to melt...then...wow....btw....a volcano spews more c02 in the air in one explosion than many countries combined...and again..man made global warming is hoax...plain and simple tiggs....if u have scientist deleting emails...to avoid the freedom of information act in the uk..then..u actually want me to believe these scientist are credible...hahaha....not
RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
Obi, I find it disappointing. Scientists are human beings and human beings don't always live up to expectations. It doesn't disprove the theory though, it just shows that a few scientists MAY have become too wrapped up in the debate. We'll have wait to see what the investigation comes up with.
The preponderance of evidence supports the idea that global warming is happening and that anthropogenic emissions are a significant contributor.
The amount of CO2 from volcanoes doesn't even come close to what man produces. The sum total of all CO2 out-gassed by active volcanoes amounts to about 1/150th of anthropogenic emissions. Or, put another way, man's activities out produce volcanoes by a factor of 150 to 1.
Listen to the scientists OBI, even if you don't like what they have to say. Your kids (or future kids) will thank you for it.

RE: I forgot my reference oops
According to the journal Science (Nov. 5, 1982), termites alone emit ten times more carbon dioxide than all the factories and automobiles in the world. Natural wetlands emit more greenhouse gases than all human activities combined. (If greenhouse warming is such a problem, why are we trying to save all the wetlands?) Geothermal activity in Yellowstone National Park emits ten times the carbon dioxide of a midsized coal-burning power plant, and volcanoes emit hundreds of times more. In fact, our atmosphere's composition is primarily the result of volcanic activity. There are about 100 active volcanoes today, mostly in remote locations, and we're living in a period of relatively low volcanic activity
RE: I forgot my reference oops
Jimb33, you are talking about volcanic activity over a period of billions of years. On an annual basis, we have volcanoes beat hands down. The termite argument was debunked years ago as a smokescreen. Those CO2 emissions are already in the natural cycle and don't change the atmospheric balance of CO2. Same with wetlands. Man's activities release carbon from sources that were stashed away by nature for eons so they alter the natural balance of CO2.
Again, lets listen to the scientists.
Again, lets listen to the scientists.
RE: I forgot my reference oops
I do listen to scientist, and I am one. But just like in many other fields, sometimes the voices that are heard are not the ones with the right ideas, but the ones with the popular ones.
Richard Linden is an atmospheric physicist and professor of meteorology at MIT, is a member of the national academy of Sciences and believe that humans are not responsible for global warming, yet nobody listens to his explanations because he does not agree with the political status quot. .
Dr Tim Ball is a Canadian Climatologist who disagrees with global warming and has become ostracized for those opinions, not because he has bad data or reputation, but simply because he does not agree with the conclusions supported by the current political powers.
Also consensus does not equal fact. If that is true we should be in an ice age now because in 1976 the consensus of the climate community was that the earth was cooling. The global temperature graphs then showed plummeting temperatures and the trend would have us frozen over by now. Funny how taking the same data we are now facing extreme temperature rise, because as it is plotted now there never was a lowering of temperatures between 1940 and 1980 as it was shown to be happening then.
In every field of science there are scientist who are serious about their work, and there are those who only want to be the center of attention, sadly those are the ones most people listen to.
I am all for reducing pollution because it is healthy for us. Being more efficient is a great idea because for one fossil fuels are limited and being efficient saves money. Solar energy would be a good idea, but just producing solar panels generates a huge amount of toxic pollution. Solar and wind energy are also not terribly reliable. Honestly the least polluting form of energy is nuclear, but people are so afraid of it that it may never become popular. It is good to save energy, I even dry my cloths outside as often as I can when I do laundry just to save energy. But when the government wants to tax me because if ideas based on assumptions that are not sound, and many experts disagree with( there are more expert scientist that disagree than will ever be told in the media) I really don't like it. Listening to scientist about global warming is good, but make sure you are listening to those with an unbiased opinion. As Dr Lindzen from MIT said about the debate "the consensus was reached before the research had even begun." That is not proper scientific methodology, yet since it is in line with what the politician want, it is what gets promoted.

RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
actually roger, it's all those farting cows that are the problem....kill all cows I say. :D
Global Warming
Though man cannot possibly be the most prevalent controller of global climate change there's nothing wrong with minimizing our influence. Of course that means preventing the developing nations from jumping on the "my turn to pollute" bandwagon. Pollution is pollution. The developing nations should leapfrog the First World nations and jump ahead with wind/solar/tidal/geo-thermal in addition to developing cleaner ways to use fossil fuels.
Advertising and one cell working
1. This is a truly terrible advert for a host ........... and like a previous person said , leave adverts in viewers form .
2. Whatever comes of climate change talks I think you should look at the bigger picture .........
- Hopefully cutting down rain forests will be checked and hopefully reversed
- The air will be cleaner so our kids will not be as prone to illness or be asthmatic
- We will not carry on hurtling to a point where there is no oil or gas left and i for one want alternative to arab and russian oil and gas
- There will be a greener , healther world in which to bring our children up
Even if global warming was a hoax , which it isnt at least the fear of global warming may make the world a better place from where it is now .
There is huge evidence for global warming , show me the evidence that man has no part to play in it ...........

RE: Advertising and one cell working
show me the evidence any changes humans make will change the global atmosphere
RE: Advertising and one cell working
That evidence doesn't exist. Also the total contribution of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere on a yearly basis by human activity is about 3% of the total CO2 entering the atmosphere. If humans cut their CO2 emissions in half then the total amount of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere would only drop 1.5% approximately. Of course what isn't told about greenhouse gasses is that CO2 is only a minor greenhouse gas, the major greenhouse gas is actually Water vapor.
A few years ago the big prediction was that as humans caused the earth to warm, hurricanes would become more frequent and stronger, yet for the last two years both the number and intensity have dropped. The latest NASA data also shows increasing ice caps, though most media outlets talk about the melting ice caps if you look carefully at their data it is from 2007 and earlier. Also when you look carefully at the global temperature data you will find that for different time periods there are different ways of measuring the temperatures ( a few different ways even in the last 20 years). While this doesn't turn into an Apples to Oranges comparison, it does become a red apple to yellow apple type comparison. Think of it like this, if you measure a rock with a yardstick and find it to be 1 inch in diameter, then measure it with a vernier caliper and find it to be 1.05 inches in diameter, did the rock become bigger? No, it is the same size but because your ability to measure has become more accurate you now see a more accurate measurement. The change in global temperatures over the last few hundred years is not in degrees or tens of degrees, but in hundredths to tenths of degrees( depending on who's data you look at). How accurate was a thermometer made in 1800 compared to the ones we have today? Were they calibrated to the same standard? How do temperature measurements made on the ground compare to measurements made from a satellite? What bias is there between a temperature monitoring station placed in an open field and one placed beside an asphalt parking lot? Are the number of data points used to calculate the average the same today as they were in the 1800's or even as recent as 20 years ago?
When you look closely at the data you will find it is a mixture of types of measurements from different time periods and with so much variability you can not say for sure that there is a real rise in temperatures or if is is just a difference in how it was measured.
I am not a climatologist, but I am a chemist and I do know how to look at data and evaluate its relevance to the overall project, and I have seen both good and bad data sets for and against global warming. In the work I do most of what I have seen would be rejected because of the different accuracies of measurement and non traceability of calibration data and many other things. So even if the planet is warming ever so slightly, the total fear mongering that has been going on is completely unwarranted.

RE: Advertising and one cell working
Like anything in this world this ball started rolling down the hill and has been gathering pace up to where it is now ...... My view is this , for centuries man has driven himself to the rules of an economic model .......... businness , profit , growth etc. with little regard for the planet we all inhabit . The environment has always been of low polictical importance , its not a vote winner . Population growth and continued industrialisation and growth puts a greater strain on all resources and the planet . If the scare mongering of climate change leads to a significant shift in thinking toward the planet and what is happening then thats not a bad thing , because if things remained unchecked we will lose our rainforests , our air quality will be poorer , we would lose animal species and generally speaking the planet would be a lot worse off . So ignoring all climate change arguments , dont you think it would be better if we gave a bit more consideration to the planet and were a bit more thoughtful ?
I happen to agree with the climate change theories , you cannot keep pumping huge amounts of pollutants into the atmosphere without a consequence . I read a study about direct sunlight , in some parts of the world its considerably less than it was , this is caused by particulates in the atmosphere around which water would seed and so high level cloud is formed , similarly jet engines from aircraft add to this as proven by 9/11 when planes were grounded the skies were clearer and temperatures moved up . If these particulates and aircraft vapour trails were not in the atmosphere temperatures would be higher .
As regards hurricanes I think you need to look at the El Nino effect , so the US and the carribbean has done okay the last 2 years or so but if you cast your eye over to the asian side of the pacific they have seen more than their fair share of typhoons .
Its all boring stuff to a lot of people .... but it wont do humans any harm to have less selfish motivations and put some more considerate political policies on the table .

RE: Advertising and one cell working
97% of peer reviewed climatologists not only believe that global warming exists, the further support the notion that man contributes to it. Turns out that the oceans aren't absorbing the excess carbon that we are releasing through fossil fuel burning. Turns out that plants aren't absorbing and using it either because we are deforesting and destroying ecosystems.
In other words, scientists who are qualified to offer a scientific opinion are telling us that global warming is a problem. They outnumber the dissenters by a whopping 32 to 1. The only hoax is that perpetrated by certain political and industrial lobby groups who would have us believe that there really is disagreement among climatologists.
Until a new theory comes along, I'll back the scientists who are qualified to offer an opinion.

Each point made is wrong.
Do not have such blind faith in \"scientist\" .
Do not have such blind faith in \"scientist\" .
RE: Advertising and one cell working
Nature gobbles up 50% of all the CO2 we produce every year, no matter how much. When we produce five times as much, nature will gobble up five times as much. And you know why? Because life on earth loves CO2. All plant life depends on it, as do we, for them to convert it back to oxygen so that we can freaking live. What a bunch of ignoramuses.
RE: Advertising and one cell working
4 % of co2 in atmosphere is from Humans.
96% of co2 in atmosphere is from nature.
If human 4% were elimated the temperature would change by only 1/2 degree.

RE: Avr0ra and Global Warming
I dont think anyone disagrees that the sun is flaring beyond the expected norm in this cycle..... so what about the idea that all that carbon man has spewed into the atmosphere is actually blocking the surplus rays, and keeping this planet from over heating.
HOAX??? this whole world has been a hoax since 500 AD.....dont get me started LOL
ok lets talk about girls again :)))

I'm wondering
I'm member of cc since a long time. I'm not young, not handsome, not smart, not rich.
Anyway in last months i got so many chances to meet in real young cute russian girls that i'm surprised of it.
What's happening there? No russian guys available? Or too many desperate girls?
I'm not a bastrad so I won't take advantage of it, but i really wonder about this situation.

RE: I'm wondering
I got more of a dozen of offers myself to meet some nice girls. Some are 18 year olds. I am maybe rich, but I am old, bald, fat, and ugly. I know it and I come here just for fantasy. I know I can't get a hot woman to love me for real and it sucks, but thats life. The girls here are just teasing you. You'll be surprised the things they say to me: Oh, I dont look for a handsome boy. I want a real smart and powerful man with experience that can take care of me. It's all empty words and a strategy to keep you coming back. Don't bite the bait :-P
RE: I'm wondering
Where I live in USA there are many, I repeat many, much older, not so handsome guys with young Russian wives. We call them Russian trophy wives, but this phenomena is real. Think about it...
RE: I'm wondering
Rusiian guys are not bad at all ! Many of them appreciate their women...There are good and bad guys in any country I suppose. May be Those russian girls who marry old fat american guys are from small towns or villages? There the level of living can be really low... but in big cities its ok
RE: I'm wondering
I prefer my young nice looking russian men instead of any american. My ex-bf is young and doesnt drink or smoke and he is a great man. We seperated becuase i was not truthful with him. There are many intelligent nice looking good men in russia. I dont understand why should i marry any old man from other country?!?!?!
RE: I'm wondering
What oportunity? I study in university a career i love so much and i only have 1 year to get my diploma. Why would i want to go to a strange country to learn new language and start all again from the base? many not true things said about how russian people in this forum. There is russian men that drink and other men that never drink and there are poor people and rich people in the world. any part of this world have bad and good people. Not all girls in russia want to marry a man from abroad. The men in russia sure are not the best in the world, but they are our men and "most" of them are great men. Be careful, many of the girls that want to marry americans are lazy and only want the easy things in life. Today they accept any ugly man, but then they go with nice looking man later. I dont need this type of oportunity. Thanks, but no thanks!
RE: I'm wondering
Dunno where do u living Slave89 but now i realise why ALL americans think it russian guys just drink and doing nothing.
HIGH LIE.
Dunno why u told such things maybe to get more american guys . but it not true at all.
maybe 7%????
Cause it lie about 70.
Rusian guys same as anywhere.
Some drink .others a great guys who knows how treat girls and even wont drink ever.
Same as guys in other countrys.
So please stop lie about russian guys.
There it many a great guys of them.
If u in trouble with russian guys. Keep it for self ,but stop lie it 70% of russian guys drink.
Goodluck

RE: I'm wondering
Listen, dont like it-dont read it, its a general forum for everyone to post. Seriously. Ah and get glasses if u think that i reply to ever post here or, okay almost every post. Geeee...
RE: I'm wondering
Please keep posting. Do not let one narrow-minded fool discourage you at all. I happen to enjoy reading your opinion on the variety of topics that get covered and find it refreshing to find somebody as educated and informed as you are.
RE: I'm wondering
keep posting monika. i'm starting to get a crush on you though never been in video yet.
RE: I'm wondering
Btw each of us attracts ppl of a particular type for some reason. If u meet only such guys who drink and lay on the sofa doing nothing, have u ever thought abt changing something in YOURSELF? Me personally dont like russian guys in general, not because they drink, beat women, dont work, ets (i was never with a guy like this lol why i wonder?)), im just not attracted to them sexually, i like 'exotic' type. But i have lots of male freinds in my city and they are great. So stop generalizing, and change smth in urself, and ull start attracting better men maybe.
RE: I'm wondering
i agree with you. I have been to Russia 5 times. I think that Russian guys dont value you so much because there are SOO many beautiful girls..they always know they can find another. In the US it is the opposite. American girls are way too fat and out of shape, and want too much..
RE: I'm wondering
Toro, I would say from my experience that "looks" are far less important to women (in finding a partner) than to a man. If you're kind, respectful and take care of them .... looks will come way down the list, is just my view.
RE: I'm wondering
im 45 and ive met three girls from CC. Two ended up being pretty hot liasons. The third was just nice. All three had bodies to kill for..Im in decent shape and tall, but I believe that if you have money they can be open to a relationship that takes them places. They tend not to be very shallow, but also good to lose weight and at least not be fat, and dress nice..you will get farther than you think..
RE: I'm wondering
im hot russian girl, and very soon i will meet my favourite member.he will come2 me in russia.IM SO HAPPY that at least it will happend after 1 year of waiting:) wish u luck with it2
RE: I'm wondering
Well russian girls are mostly always eager of meeting members. I never heard about romanian, french ,german ex girlfriends here. All are from Russia .
RE: I'm wondering
I dont think so that russian girls want american guys in love but probably want money yes :( I checked out with bride russiagirl and i see many girls wrote me in email and asked me for money for need help like airlines tickets, visa and documents too. I told her no thanks because i knew that if i give money to her then she would not buy tickets and visa too! Be careful guys but i know some russian girls are nice but hard to find one out there.
RE: I'm wondering
Yeah, i still remember when i said i am russian to one canadian guy, next day he brought big bottle of vodka "Absolut" and offered me to share it together lol...isn't it funny?
RE: I'm wondering
i think you are right, Of course there are many fine Russian men, but there are SOO many beautiful russian women, that most are taken. Here most of the beautiful women are taken, so American men look at Russians. Also i find Russians have a better education, and are more interesting than American girls. As I am an attorney, educated at university, this is important to me.
RE: I'm wondering
Yes, I do hear a lot of women that are friend and that are not just asking me into video complain about Eastern European men and want nothing to do with them. And no, don't be so hard on yourself and don't be too hard on all the hosts here either. Some hosts are definitely playing games so always be careful. But it is possible that some are seriously interested in you as a person and not just a wallet or a green card.
When you are "in real life", at a bar, party, work, et cetera, it is a very different dynamic and you may not be able to feel comfortable so it is harder to be yourself. On CC, there is no pressure. There are no expectations. You can relax, be natural, and show the host who you really are as a person. If things don't work out, you simply move on to the next host until you find someone that you click with. It is sort of like speed dating.
Also remember that women are a lot less visually oriented than men. Of course everyone wants a hot partner, but women are not as demanding as men. Women want someone that is nice, that would be a good parent, that they can trust.... You know, all the things that men should want too, but we think of sex first. Plus, you are probably older than almost every host you talk to and it is refreshing to them to talk to someone that is a lot more mature than people their own age. And it seems to be much less uncommon for a woman in Eastern Europe to marry and older man than it might be in the West from what I hear.
Your real concerns should be three. First, is she just trying to get you video over and over again? Only time and a lot of experience as a member will answer that question, but usually, you can figure out her true motives. Unfortunately, I cannot give you a magic formula to make that determination, however. It is not always as obvious as some may think.
Second, is she serious about being with you but has some other agenda, namely to get out of a bad economic situation and to get a green card, et cetera. That doesn't mean she will necessarily leave you the second you are married, but things will probably not work out in the long run. Again, only time and experience can protect you here, although some hosts are a lot more expressive in terms of how much they dislike their country so while that is not a definite sign of an improper motive, it is a warning sign.
Third, even if you truly love each other, there is probably a big age difference so you are fighting an uphill battle in terms of long term success of the relationship. That doesn't mean it annot work out, but I could give you a list of reasons that it won't. Among them are 1) she could have a poor relationship with her father and is using you to replace him, 2) she wants to be taken care of and won't be a giving partner 3) it will be socially awkward for you to be with someone a lot younger 4) you will not have enough in common with her since you are in dfferent points in your lives. The point is, what seems perfectly fine today, might not be so good in time. But things could still work out with the right person, regardless of age.
Good luck.

Good luck.
RE: I'm wondering
I agree, well said. I personally have witnessed many such relationships while abroad on business, and most were clearly a benefits exchange...but, like you mention, some can be truly sincere. A little love and compassion can be all that is needed.
RE: The story of my life
It always comes to this: you don't marry a "Russian, " or an "American," you marry an individual with whom you hope beyond hope you can enjoy a life, a love, and a partnership together. Maybe it's harder when two individuals come from different cultures. I think if that's so it is only because it is hard enough to discern another person's inner life when they are familiar to you... perhaps it's that much harder when they are foreign.
It is difficult to move to a foreign country, for love or for any reason! It is an enormous sacrifice to make. In your case, I have never doubted your motives. All the best to you dear...

RE: I'm wondering
You mentioned you have met one or two hosts, is that correct?
I would be interested in hearing how the encounter/s went, as I am considering meeting a girl myself.

RE: I'm wondering
If u want meet one girl from cc, at first respect her cos she isn't a doll, and try to sure that she is really interested to u. I met one girl that i found i glamour, and she offered me to perform, i didn't ask her to do it. When I asked her to meet she agreed soon. We had a great week together, but fall in love so far is awfull, cos distance doesn't help. The second one doesn't deserve to be mentioned.

RE: I'm wondering
well...i couldn't see there are plenty of russian wives in US, but i saw many phillipinos yes, they are...It's all depends on which side you are looking at;))))
RE: I'm wondering
Heres another fact for you russian girls...its really not that great over here...I'm from canada and I hear about russian families moving back to russia all the time. Having spent alot of time in your most interesting and beautiful country, it always baffled me how many wanted to leave and move to Canada.
Come and visit ..please do...and maybe meet man of your dreams. But dont be so quick to pack up and leave that great Russia.

RE: I'm wondering
You do not say so about all Russian women. I love my country and I love my life here. I love our guys. For all the money I will not go to live abroad, for example. Million dollars come on, but I will not go.... Therefore, not all Russian women are so easy to marry a foreigner and move to another country. Good lucky :)
RE: I'm wondering
I suppose there are women in every country who don't like the men in their own country just as there are men who don't like the women in their own country. Perhaps their own negative attitude attracts equally negative people which reinforces such crazy ideas. I'd be careful of anyone who says that the men or women in her or his country are no good because it may reflect their own character. Kinda like when you date a woman and all she can do is talk about the jerks she dated before, it is a sign of trouble to come.
Doesn't hurt to be a little skeptical of anyone who asks for money. Some people on here (hosts and members) will mislead others to get what they want.

RE: I'm wondering
Good psychological approach. Never thought of that before. Of course, we look at the positive side of things and see an opportunity instead of the potential trouble ahead. Actually, I never like people who just talks negative things about her past relationships. Those who see only the bad will always see the bad. It's a sing a conflicting personality and we should stay away. Thanks for the mind opening post!!!
surprising to read
Well, its not first time i see my name on the forums saying “she's nothing more than a mental tease, silly little mind games. Nothing sexy, cheater” n blah blah .
U guys sound so disappointed like my pics and profile look promising and after u come in u get nothing.I work in NON adult where the rules are very strict and u know it .So if u dont like this category ,please pass by.
Bet most of you would be happy to see me in instant action but this is never gonna happen .Plenty of fish in the sea .

RE: surprising to read
Yeah, yeah, its not you who moves to glamour and little shy at times. Sorrry, it must be your twin, hahahaha! :-P
RE: surprising to read
YES! Pass by PLEASE. I don't understand why we even have a non adult section here. As if there aren't enough girls who don't strip in glamour.
RE: surprising to read
Are you also saying that Old Member's comment that you sometimes switch categories (though not to instant action) is not correct?
RE: surprising to read
1. The fellow was asking for a recommendation. We gave it.
2. You were in Glamour when I talked to you. Glamour is not in "Non-
Adult" but rather between Adult and Non.
3. This is a sex site.
4. If you don't like what you read in the Viewer Forum just, as you put it, "pass it by". Perhaps General Forum or Tech Forum would be more to your liking.

Sure, I am sure its your sister that I saw the other day in Glamour and u closed ur session since I came right after ur 121 viewer left and u weren't fully clothed when I entered. Funny girl :-P
RE: surprising to read
Don't be silly!! CC is a sex site and all girls know it perfectly. That's why the biggest part of girls in non adult switch in other cathegories, maybe not for all members, but they do. So don't be so sure that u'll never do. Take care!
RE: surprising to read
Thats what i say.If u need sex n shows ,stay away from non adult. Its up to cc -they have this category or not.I move to glam and those who i do it with deserve it and are satisfied.otherwise wouldnt come back,no?and its up to me who i spend time with in glam .For all others im available in Non adult only .Dont complain as while im NN i have the right to refuse .

a joke
A man limps into a bar with a cane and alligator. The bartender stops him and says "Hold on a second here - you can't bring that animal in here, they aren't allowed!" So the man says, "But my gator here does a really cool trick..."
The bartender says "Well then, lets see!" So the man whips out his dick and shoves it in the gators mouth. He then takes his cane and starts bashing the gator in the head with it. A crowd gathers around and everyone is astonished when he pulls out his dick without a single scratch
He looks around at the crowd and says, "Does anyone else want to try?" An old lady raises her hand and says..."Sure, but don't hit me with that stick."

RE: for open minded guys
I visit only her in video, but i chat in community and in text chat with others
RE: for open minded guys
As my favourite girl is the one who is currently stripping for me in her video I can say that I only ever visit my favourite host :P
RE: for open minded guys
that would depend if i was her favourite or just one of her many admirers, i would come here only to see and chat with her for awhile to show she is special to me, if that had no real effect on her i would realise i'm not going to be special to her and so i would visit as many other girls as i wish
RE: for open minded guys
I video chat with her and with other girls too. After all, she also chats with other guys. I know its her job, but she's honest told me she likes other guys here too. At least she says the truth....
RE: for open minded guys
.... only when the waters are very deep :))))
But is anywhere safe from the fisherman?
But is anywhere safe from the fisherman?
RE: for open minded guys
I used to visit just one favorite girl then all of the sudden she increased her price by 50%. Hate to admit it but the price I guess is part of the equation. So I am currently shopping for a new favorite.
RE: for open minded guys
It means you liked her ( ex-host ) sooooo much that any money (price tag) started the end your relationship. :D
RE: for open minded guys
I have become quite fond of one girl, and dont feel the need to visit other hosts. I do chat now and then with one other ( not here ) whom I consider to be a friend.
RE: for open minded guys
Sounds funny...and I can see the jokes cumming...but have yet to find a woman like this russian beauty can make me....
Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
I read a few days ago where hosts and members said they love cats and how smart they are. I got a question for the cat experts. How do I keep my very sweet cat from scratching the shit out of me once in a while? The other day he left me with a half inch bloody scratch on and above my eyelid and today he nicked my hand a little. He's not doing it intentionally but I am losing blood here nevertheless. I smacked him but not sure he understands. With dog I can raise my voice a little and know to cool it but I am not so sure cats are trainable. Are they?
RE: Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
Have nails clipped by your vet ot a professiona;.
RE: Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
First, don't hit your cat!!! That is cruel!! It isn't like hitting a dog (not that you should hit a dog). Cats are little and you can easily hurt them. Believe me, I have been bitten very hard by a cat a few times and wanted to kick it across the room so I know the feeling, but it is wrong to hurt an animal, especially a small one. (And no, I didn't kick it across the room.)
Second, cats are very smart and definitely trainable. But it is not like training a dog. You will need a lot more time and patience. Cats are like women... They do what they want, lol, so be patient.
In terms of the cat scratching u, I supposed u could have it declawed but that is cruel. It is like ripping out the cats fingernails. And once declawed, they are more likely to bite you. If you do declaw ur cat, I would only do it to the front claws, and I probably wouldn't do this to an older cat. And once again, I would never do it at all. It is too mean but it seems to be accepted.
In terms of training your cat not to scratch, I don't know any specific method for that particular behavior, and any type of training will take time. But showing your anger and yelling at it will be effective over time unless your cat is an idiot. Animals understand when you are not happy so your cat will understand that it should not scratch you if you are always yelling. It might even get scared and hiss at you when you yell, but 5 minutes later when you are opening a can of food it will be rubbing up against you. And when you yell at it, always use the same words... Something simple like "Bad cat!" so that when it hears those words and hears your angry tone, it knows it did something wrong and should stop.
You could spray it with water when it is bad if you are intent on physically punishing it. I guess this isn't too cruel. But don't use a fine stream like a water pistol would squirt and hit the eyes and hurt it.. just a light spray... Keep a bottle next to your bed and next to your chair. It will stop most cats pretty quickly, but you must do it immediately after it scratches you so it makes the connection. You can also yell "bad cat" too.
You could also close your bedroom door by the way, lol.

RE: Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
basically ur right except
1. while declawing is cruel, cats do not tend to bite mjore, theynever seem to realize they dont have those claws anymore. however, they also if outside cant defend themselve as well
3. teaching them not to scratch WILL involve light hitting( sort of a tap) on the offending paw when they bare their claws at you. it is about the only way they learn over time that it is not acceptable behavior

RE: Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
I didn't hurt the cat!!! My smacking him was with a couple of fingers and was just an instant reaction to him having his claws dug into my hand. I will not have him declawed. I will not spray him with water. I am not "intent on physically punishing him" as you put it. wtf is that supposed to mean? I love the little guy. As I said he is not doing it intentionally, he just gets a little rough sometimes. I am sure he'd rather have someone to play with who has fur and doesn't bleed so easily. I'll try something verbal. Just wanted to ask what cats respond to best. I just remembered that my sister in law had a cat that would occasionally bite her. She would immediately bite the cat back. He'd look at her like wtf?.... but he wouldn't bite her again for about a year. Thanks for the tips!
RE: Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
he...i like how you called him "a little guy" :))))
RE: Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
I like that. I am practicing disapproving faces in the mirror.
RE: Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
Sorry to hear you lost your cat. She' sounds like a lot of fun.....and pain lol.
RE: Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
Also very good advice. Thanks.
RE: Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
Bottom Line... Cats are a pain in the ass....They're great for controlling rodents, but little else... Unless they want something. Sound familiar?
RE: Urgent!...Cat Advice Needed.....and maybe Type O Blood Donor
omg. Thanks for the great stories of your cat and Vitamin C tip. That picture of him clinging to your naked back is hilarious but obviously very painful for poor you. Also, as of now my blood levels are remaining constant but I'll keep your offer in mind :)
a Perm casualty
It is with the deepest regret that I announce the untimely death of a CC ex-host. She was on the official list released by the Russian authorities and confirmed by one of her friends and colleagues in Perm.
She most recently went by the screen name of XCANDYLANDX, but in the past was also known as XVIRUSX, IMMACULATE, WITHSISLEY and XIRIAX.
She enjoyed two summer work/study sessions in the US and will be missed in a special way by at least one American guy.
Most Russians are at least nominally Russian Orthodox and the common expression is "May her memory be eternal."

RE: a Perm casualty
It is a real tradgedy. I just found out that she was a close friend to a host that I have been talking to for a couple of years now. She is in shock at the news.
These will be hard times for everyone that that knew her. My sympathies and prayers go out to her friends family and loved ones. We should be there to give what support we can during this time of mourning.
Rest in Peace Juliya

RE: a Perm casualty
I really find comments like this, suggesting that someone in their twenties who was in good health is better off dead than alive, offensive.
RE: a Perm casualty
The wish is that she is heaven and has found peace with our Maker. If you think this earth is better than Heaven then you are right. But most of us think Heaven is a better place.
RE: a Perm casualty
I'm sorry, but your mis-interpreting of what the previous post-er wrote is sad in my opinion. The longtime member is simply wishing her heaven or something like it. Personally, i find great solace in the hope of heaven, which I do believe will be a far superior better place than this earthly life.
RE: a Perm casualty
I am deeply sorry to hear of her tragic death, along with the many others who perished with her.
RE: I have never seen ...
this is what you have to realize.when you enter a hosts room (it doesnt matter where he/shes from) theres a real good chance your not the only 1 in the room.just because you dont see anyone else there dosent mean your alone.there can be a unlimited amount of people there and the host has to try and talk with everone.if theres alot of members in the room theres alos i chance the host didnt see what you wrote.
also if its really a matter of life and death try useing some common sence and call for a ambulance.why ask a host for help.what in the hell can the host do?is the host gonna give you C.P.R.think about it...if your really in need of help what can someone on the other side of the world do??

Happy Saint Nicholas Day to all Romanian Hosts

For those that go to clubs and other crowded events
It was indeed a tragedy what happened in Perm. It looks like the Russian government is well on its way to bringing justice for the victims, and the owners of the club have already been arrested from what I heard. It is even more of a sad situation since the owners were warned of the dangers the day before according to news reports.
As someone posted below, this type of thing has happened before. What people who attend these type of events need to understand is that it is very important to locate the emergency exits when you first walk into such an event. What happens is that once the fire starts, everyone panics and the instinct is to run out the way you came in so everyone rushes for the same door. Apparently, there were two exits at this club, but everyone ran towards just one. If people had located both exits before the fire started, maybe some would have gone towards the other exit and lives could have been saved. (Why there were only two exits is another story since if over 100 people died, I would think that it was a pretty big club and should have had additional emergency exits and such things should be required by law, but anyway...)
The same type of advice applies towards things like flying on a plane. You should count the rows towards the exits behind you and in front of you. A plane will fill with smoke very quickly and you will not be able to see, but you can feel the seats and count the rows as you try to escape.

RE: For those that go to clubs and other crowded events
I just heard on the news that the people at the club didn't know about the second exit and that there was no announcement regarding it. I think that they were just told to calmly use the one exit.
In the USA, exit signs are usually illuminated (lighted) so that you can see them in the dark and so that they are obvious at all times. For example, in a movie theater, you will usually see one or two exits where the screen is and of course the entrance where you came in. I am not sure about the laws in Russia or other countries.
Again, it is very important to look for other exits in such situations. Even if there is not an obvious sign that says "exit", most businesses have a front and back entrance so there are probably at least two exits. And if you only see one, you should not be shy about asking someone about others. It is your life at stake.

RE: For those that go to clubs and other crowded events
People naturally try to escape by the way they came in - same things happened in 2003 at "The Station" in West Warwick Rhode Island where again 100 people died after the band "Great White"'s pyrotechnics started the fire.
RE: For those that go to clubs and other crowded events
Of course you need to take into account the reason for the US has regulations regarding signs etc. The tragedy at the Boston Mass club the Coconut Grove in 1942. Apparently a busboy used a match to see while he changed a lighbulb in a crepe paper covered coconut tree. Though nobody noticed it at the time the match started the paper smouldering. When the fire broke out there the club goers who headed for the side exits discovered all except the main entrance/exit were chained and padlocked to prevent people from sneeking in without paying the cover charge. It also prompted regulations requiring streamers and similar decorations to be treated for fire retardance. 492 died and many more were injured to prompt the passing of the legislations.
It's a joke
A young lady came home from a date rather sad. She told her mother, "He proposed to me an hour ago."
"Then why are you so sad?" her mother asked.
"Because he also told me he was an atheist. Mom, he doesn't even believe there's a hell!"
Her mother replied, "Marry him anyway. Between the two of us, we'll show him how wrong he is."

Perm (Russia) Nightclub Explosion
My God I just heard about this explosion and fire in a Perm nightclub, apparently caused by pyrotechnics. I hope none of our CC hosts were hurt, or worse... my prayers and thoughts go out to our Russian friends.

Ditto.
I did see one host from Perm online today. Glad to see she's okay.

RE: unfortunately...
Yes... xCandyLadyx also know xVirusx, immaculate, WithSisley or as xIRIAx was killed on December 5th. Noone here on CC can be more sad than me or her real friends in Perm. She was 26 years old, nearly finished with her University work, and planning to leave Russia and all its dangers. Unfortunately she will never leave Russia now. May she rest in happiness as she showed to others she loved.
RE: Perm (Russia) Nightclub Explosion
it always happen... Club owners have these great ideas and bring the best firework shows and the night clubs end up being a deadly trap for everyone in it.... This is not the first time nor it will be the last. When will they learn to be more careful? Never, they want to have the best shows and bring more attention taking all and any risks regardless any hazzards.
RE: Perm (Russia) Nightclub Explosion
From what i have read the problem was not primarily with the fireworks, although these may not have been suitable for indoor use, but that the material of the ceiling, and possibly in the rest of the club, was too combustible. There were clearly many secondary factors too.
RE: Perm (Russia) Nightclub Explosion
Some would say Health and Safety has gone too far in Western Europe and they are probably right. If you've been to Russia, however, you'll see the total disregard for fire regulations and the safety of people in clubs and bars. So many are just blatant fire traps.
For as long as the inspection of premises works on a system of bribery/backhanders, people in Russia will continue to die in fires when they could so easily have been saved by a few basic safety measures.

RE: Perm (Russia) Nightclub Explosion
Very well said! When I took a friend to my home country he was shocked to see a person in a chair hanging on a rope painting the side of a tall building, he even took a picture of it. No health and safety in eastern europe! :( God bless
RE: Perm (Russia) Nightclub Explosion
It is a tragedy and my heart goes out to all who were affected. This time it appears to be the result of negligence, not terrorism. That is, of course, little consolation to families that lost loved ones.
