What the heck is a turkey steak? Never heard of that one. Just had a beautiful barbecued turkey today and while carving it didn't see anything resembling a steak. Where is it? White meat or dark?

All depends on the type of visa...immigrant (green card) versus non-immigrant (tourist or student). A tourist visa shouldn't be difficult to get. Check the US Embassy website for information as to how....I know there is a fee involved as well. A student visa will require an arrangement between the student and a university, so will require some work ahead of time.

The majority of hosts who come to the US do so on a summer work student visa. I knew at least a dozen hosts who were able to participate in this program through their universities. Other than that tourist visas can be tricky. You must go to the embassy and pay a fee and prove you will return to russia. You own real estate, have a thriving business, have a home and children..bascially a compelling reason to return and not stay in the US. So...young girls with no assets other than physical and nothing to really keep them in Russia have a much harder time. DO NOT mention she has a possible bf or admirer in the US ..that kills it immediately. There is a fiance visa process for romance and that is very difficult and takes forever. Strict tourism. I want to see the Statue of Libery, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Washington Monument (not a members monument). They also must have a return airline ticket naturally.

Hint: If she makes it here and you are in love....have her apply for a student visa at a junior college. She must pass the TOEFL and have a decent mastery of english. Then she can come for two years as a student. You will have to pay the tuition and you will miraculously provide the apartment. Within those two years while she is in the US legally as a student...you get married and apply for permanent residency and a green card. Easiet way to get a girl into the US. Costs some money but you have two years as she studies to determine if she is really for you. Good luck.

I agree that ABX has a very distinct, sculpted statuesque look however I really prefer Chaneldoll's look.

It seems to be much more natural. In pictures she has a true model's sense of style and can look cute, sensuous, classy at different times.

ABX is always stunning but I think the versatility and range that Chaneldoll shows in pictures gives her the edge as to being the best blonde (and maybe best photographic model) on CC.

well melissa...ive had my laptop for 2yrs and a pc for 5yrs...and i can tell that my eyesight has changed...i went to the eye doctor and now in a few years he said if i dont stop getting too close to the monitor that i will have to have glasses..and im 39..and always had perfect vision...but then again...maybe im just getting older and my eyes changing on me

I ended up wearing permanent glasses starting this year mainly because of working with computers, but I have been spending ridiculous amounts of time in front of the PC on a daily basis for over 10 years (IT classes at the Uni + the computer at the office + cam sites and whatnot at home = an average of 6 hours/day of screen-staring).
I think if you start having problems after 3 years of working with computers is not really normal though, and there are things you can do to at least delay the effects, like wearing protective computer glasses (I always wore those), taking a few minutes breaks once every hour, looking off in the distance, keeping your monitor about 30 inches away from your eyes if possible.

Sephinroth's advice to give your eyes a break now and then is very good, especially to look off in the distance so you are not always focusing up close.

OSHA and other office regulatory bodies have done studies on this and there are some CRTs and LCD screens that are better than others for reducing eye strain. It is not so much the display however as the constant focusing. In real life we vary what we look at but in an office or studio setting we are focused on the screen for hours. Also body position is important. Chair height, angle, back support, arm support, wrist support, etc. Taking frequent breaks and changing your angle on the screen will help.

I don't feel anything to became my eyesight badly, I got lasik operation in 2007, my eyes are both 1.2-1.2. I keep all the time they are good, I don't feel any my eyes getting tired to watching computer, the only thing which my eyes making tired is I help sometimes translate german-japanese translate it, and my typing faculty is 515 letter/min even enlglish-japanese, so those small letter to watch making my eye sight tired ..ooohhh..

Well, there is only one way for them to know about CC and sites like it, and that is to have gone to the sites themselves even if they never joined. Saying "CC networks" or whatever on your credit card bill doesn't tell them what the site is. I guess the 100 charges in a row might make them suspicious, lol, but still, they need to go to the site first to check it all out, and who's to say what they did once they got here?

I would also be very angry about how they embarrassed you and violated your privacy. That ship has sailed so it is time to return the favor. I would definitely be in the manager's office and demanding disciplinary action, and if the manager was involved, then I would be meeting with the regional manager very soon.

I would not tolerate what they did to you. Make them fear you next time they see you. And let them know if there are any repercussions such as identity theft by a fired employee since they have your personal information, that the first stop of the authorities will be your bank.

Further, in expressing my outrage, I would use the non adult section to give you cover. "I was having some fun chatting in a yahoo/icq/other chat room and met a nice girl there. It turned out that she worked on CC and was using chatrooms to get business. She was in an adult section, and while tempting, I really wasn't interested in that type of stuff. Just don't threaten or state things as facts. It is YOUR OPINION that they were unprofessional, NOT that they were in fact unprofessional. You are NOT threatening to sue or anything else, rather, you are just speculating that someone might be able to. You are NOT demanding an apology, et cetera OR else. You are simply going forward with this matter regardless of what apologies come your way since this type of behavior shoudl be documented. Threatening, even just to get an apology, can get you in trouble. Watch your words to keep yourself out of trouble but make sure they get the message, and they will kiss your butt for the forseeable future.

I expect a lot of "I'm sorry's" to come your way. But don't fall for their bullshit. If they say stuff like "We regret this incident, Mr. X. It is most unfortunate, and we are sorry you had to go through it," tell them to go f... themselves in so many words. (Don't actually use profanity or lose your temper.) That is just code for NOT taking responsiblity. They need to be sorry for WHAT THEY DID so make them say it. Mistakes weren't just made.... Mistakes were made BY THEM! Make sure they say it, and that they say they are sorry for what they did to you.

Unless they explicitly take responsibility and apologize for their conduct, keep working your way up the management chain. It won't go beyond the branch manager's supervisor. He didn't get to where he is by not being smart enough to keep things from going to his boss, but the branch manager might not be so smart. If need be, you could write a letter of complaint, but you might feel a bit hesitant to do that for obvious reasons.

(By the way, "member" is actually very nice. It is just that member does not like people fucking with him and takes it personally since member goes out of his way never to fuck with others. I don't think CC prefers Glamour for cover girls. In this contest several hosts who were not selected put some of the pics they had submitted in their archives. The girls themselves were no less attractive but the uality of these pics was just not as good as those who were chosen. Also not every winner is a covergirl.

I think the reasons why these hosts have the most awards is due more to the hosts themselves than the category they are in. What you should ask is why these particular hosts choose to be in glamour.

Becuase the rules in glamour are practically pretty open. The hosts are free to say no or perform as they like. Some go all the way, others just say: "I am shy and this is why i am in glamour." But the true is that more than an 80% at least go topless for some members otherwise they would be in non adults.

Littleshy rules also give the hosts the option to strip or not strip. So why doyou think they do not choose there.

Glamour is closer to Non-adults than Little Shy. Besides Little Shy is well known that most girls strip as opposed to Glamour that most girls do topless. The problem with anything too complex is that many members want a show too. For example, one host suggested backgammon. Well, while I like her way of thinking, if I want to play backgammon with a host, I will buzz her on yahoo. Playing 20 minutes and then getting a show isn't going to do it for me. I guess some type of points can be given for winning, perhaps factoring in how much is spent or something, but I don't know.

The game needs to be something that allows for a show and is challenging. The puzzle allows for a show but is all luck. The easter eggs allowed for a show and then you can click all the eggs for a few minutes, but unless you were clueless, that all came down to how much money you spent to get points. (As I recall, it was about $35 for each completed board if you knew what you were doing.) The xmas contest takes thought, but still, it detracts from having a show since every $5 you need to do something (although I guess you could wait) plus the answers began to repeat themselves and people just looked off a list of googled xmas words.

This is a difficult topic. I think that money needs to be a factor since you should be rewarded for what you spend, but it should not be the only factor. There should be some skill too instead of just luck, but the skills required shouldn't detract from those that want a show.

You know what? I have no idea what CC should do, but contests seem to work for them so I guess they will keep doing the same thing.

Sure it WAS about luck and spending lots of money, period. Or making lots of money if one is a host. Why not just randomly reward hosts and members, that would be more fair. Staying in orbit.

Well it was about luck in that you were lucky to get a piece you needed, but yes, it was about money too since the more you spent, the more likely you were to get a piece. It is kind of like buying lottery tickets. The more money you spend, the more tickets you get, but you still must be lucky to get your number picked.

I have no problem with all of that except that there should also be some thought involved otherwise it takes away from the game. But I am not really here to think, lol, at least not too much so the game cannot get be too complex or take too much time.

Keep the games... I bet if I had accidently won I'd like them more. Another throught would be frequent flyer miles, rewards for what you spend. MasterCard and Visa can do it I bet cc could come up with something. Just sayin!

I like that idea! Could get "double mileage" if you use a mileage credit card! mb have a Grand Prize, one lucky member could get to meet his favorite host (if willing, and chaperoned). Thinking about coming down from orbit...

I would like to see a contest by price banding...best under 1...best 1 to 1.50, etc. A great host at a fair price is what every member seeks.
