I am totally hooked on the show. Very fun. It has it all: Intrigue, evil against good, violence, kindness, disease, magic and yes... sex. What more can you ask from a show. I was reading that when G.O.T. is on television traffic at PornHub, a huge porn site, plummets and after the show it skyrockets. I bet much of this has to do with Daenerys Targaryen, aka Khaleesi, aka Mother of Dragons. But for those who like men....Jon Snow is there to provide.

Summer at home here in Canada biking, golfing, gardening, music festivals, farmers markets, going to the beach then in September a week golfing in Ireland followed by 2 weeks touring in France. it started to be expensive when a seeming majority of hosts charge less than $2/minute, closer to $1 or $1.50/minute. I say "seeming" because it is what I have observed, but I have by no means been able to observe every host. Just in my experience, it seems most hosts charge less than that.
Another point - Guys who come here aren't here to support you, they are here to have fun. If you charge higher prices, they will not be able to stay as long. Not every member has wads of money to spend. They want the best value for their $ just like we all do in every other thing we purchase. When I can get just as good a show at a lower price as I would from someone charging a higher price -- and maybe even a better show from the lower price -- whom do you think I will choose?
The higher the price, the better and more creative should be the show.

I may not have used the same words but, in general, I agree 100% with what you say. Around $2 a minute open is expensive because if you want a 'full' show then you probably will have to go in 121 which is gonna be a much higher price again. If I have a video then I like to stay with the host for 20 or 30 minutes if not more and at prices of $2 or more, it adds up quickly. If a member likes a host he is going to want to visit her more than once a month, maybe more than once a week so lets say 5 times a month for 30 minutes, that's $300 without even going 121. Men being men, you are probably not the only host the member will visit so, if he likes to spread himself around a bit, he is likely to look for less expensive hosts or it gets ridiculously expensive. Hosts may only get 50% of their price but please remember that us members have to pay the full price.

Actually this topic was raised some time ago on Chathost Forum after the February content. It was dealt with the question "what's the secret of success of regular winners among hosts"? There is a number of hosts (and I am sincerely glad for them) who win big cash prizes that means obviously that there is also a number of members who spend big money not caring about host's price. You both say that 2$ per min is expensive but I am sure that there are those who don't mind to pay even more (as we see), just other hosts are not so lucky to catch them ;). P.S. And I agree with SheerExcellence that to ask a host to get nude and moreover use toys in open session for less than 1$ and 10 minutes is more than just disrespect from the viewer.

of course there are those who don't mind spending big money. No brainer there. But while there may be some, I think probably the average person doesn't have that kind of money to spend. And if all you can afford is a two minute show, that doesn't make you cheap as Sheer Elegance so non-elegantly stated. it's all they can afford at the higher price. It's a hard reality of life. I personally like to spend 30 to 60 minutes in videochat with a host. That gives me time for fun and conversation. And I disagree that it is disrespect. It is just as much disrespect, in my opinion, to expect a member to shell out their hard-earned money for something that they can get at a much lower price. The market rules.

Well.. As just a person (not a host) I totally understand you and respect your hard working to provide yourself with fun on here. But I am sure some hosts certainly deserve their right to charge more than 1$ for videosession and I think you members must feel the difference. For us it's also a hard work and incomes: hair style, good looking, manicure, pedicure, cosmetics, nice underwear, accessoires, clothes and shoes, fitness centres for shape body etc. I remember recently some members complained that the majority of hosts they visit don't even have make-up and don't care about their attraction. As for me personally I thoroughly prepare before I get online ('cos I respect my visitors) and don't sleep at nights to be available for those who want to see me. So I wonder now if I cut my price down to 1$ and less and won't be able to stay on a high level because of that will you enter my shows regularly?

Secondly, I've never bitched members who can't afford my or other hosts' price: I respect people as I mentioned in my previous post and there are lot's of things which I can't afford too. And finally, I don't think it says good about a man who tells a woman that she doesn't impress him so untactfully. As my host experience shows the common level of paying members has been changing currently (and it has lasted for about the last year). As for my price it was 2.20$ in open the previous year, I had enough viewers and nobody complained. But now my price is 1.95$ and my traffic is rather slow. The reason of such members' behavior is still a mystery for me. As an experiment I varied my price several times and charged even 1$ during a week (for those who search by price) but there was no result. There are some cam sites where according to their rules hosts must charge from 1.98$ to 5.80$ (1.98$ is the lowest price for 2 stars host) and they have lot's of spenders even on the expensive girls. So I have no clue what's going on here recent time. Any way good luck to both sides!

This sex website "market" you are talking about is the place where what hosts offer meets what members request. everyone has something different in mind in their search, from both parties. Some wish to have fun, some want to pay less/ more, to have better shows, to win the big bucks. We can't force them to choose us if we don't meet their requirements and they can't force us to do smth we don't want. By and large I never discuss pricing strategies and money in CC. I learned quite awhile ago that $$$ is probably the most inflammatory and divisive topic in CC. And reading through this string only reinforces my belief. Of course my grandmother told me as a child, "Do not discuss money, politics or religion." I can not say I always follow that advice, but by and large that was a sound strategy for maintaining a cordial and friendly atmosphere a century ago and is good advice now.

It's really Russia's day mostly (I think?) to commemorate the sacrifices of so many millions to achieve victory in WWII. In the USA we have other days of remembrance. I hope we never lose the memory of those sacrifices, regardless of what day we choose.

Not to sound cynical, but like most hosts who worked on these sites in their early 20s, they probably left the site and used their not inconsiderable good looks and intelligence to attract a man with prospects.

I don't understand the idea of waiting to be invited - seems weird to me. Whether I agree with it or not, I can understand it. There is a certain etiquette about entering someone's private room without knocking and being invited to enter. In reality this etiquette exists so why is it so strange to you that it also exists in the virtual world? It could be considered rude just to barge into a private room, uninvited.

Still, when a member in freechat seems to want nothing more than to waste a host's time in freechat without entering private, I think it is appropriate for a host to invite him into pvt. If he refuses, and still hangs in freechat, I think it is appropriate for a host to say " I can't really chat right now, can you come back later? " or more bluntly "You need to come into private if you want to continue to chat." That's my opinion, anyway.

I always prefer little chat in free text chat before entering to private, and i always ask first if host has everything ready, so she can have time to get ready and finnish what she might be doing at the moment, i dont think all host just sit and wait for someone entering to private.
Little chat in text chat i need to make sure what kind of mood and attitude host is having on that day, if she is having a bad day and bitchy attitude, i just wish her a good day and go try some other room.
As myself i usually have some certain things i wish to see in private, and i do understand hosts are not always ready for these, so i want to ask about it first, before rush in and spoil my day, and maybe spoil host mood also.
But i also dont like to be invited to private, if this invite sounds like beggin.

For someone fantasizing about relationship, those are not meaningless but pertinent questions, for they indicate compatibility. Not many men are comfortable with a host who towers above them. And many have ideal images of what a host should weigh and how they are built..

Regardless, fantasy is the number one reason I believe members are here, and unfortunately, a good many of them have difficulty separating fantasy from reality. So unless a host is prepared to reject a good many fantasizers, I would suggest answering the questions politely even if not quite honestly LOL

free text is a good way of gauging personality if this important to the member. In the end this is a business for most so i suppose if you want members to part with their hard earned (or not so hard earned money in some cases) you have to adopt different tactics at different times

Game of Thrones and Porn
Game Of Thrones (GOT) is one of the most popular shows on television; and I include myself as an avid viewer. When episodes of GOT are on television visits to porn sites declines significantly and after the show it it spikes upward dramatically. On one very popular porn site (which shall remain nameless) visits shoots up an amazing 370 percent after the show! I think if I were a host looking for vids I would start dressing like Emilia Clarke, (Daenerys on the show). And as a member perhaps to boost my own sex life I should should start dressing like a Dothraki Khal, although I sincerely doubt I could pull it off. Enjoy......television and sex are all about the fantasy I guess. :)

Anyone else here view TV/popular media as nothing much more but a means of propagandizing the public and shaping the course of world events? In that light, it's kinda fun/kinda disturbing to wonder what societal-manipualting machinations might really be behind the production of Game of Thrones, specifically.

Fun little fact: When Israel laid siege to Ramallah back in 2002, they took over the Palestinians' television stations - they didn't silence them, they didn't use them to control the narrative - what they did was they started broadcasting nothing but continuous streams of hardcore pornography. No, bannies and chocolate eggs is Western tradition, not Ortodox. Here we have red coloured Easter eggs with colour being achieved through boiling the egg with natural colours such onion peels. And also kulich (cylindrical sweet bread) that traditionally paired with paskha (a sort of cheesecake with raisings or dried apricots). This is customary aslo to greet people with words " Christ is Risen" so you should greet in reply "Indeed, He is risen!" I hope you have some info about Ortodox Easter now :):)

How it is always so difficult to understand the actual meaning of rating system... if everyone should give 5 star to everyone, then we could as well forgot the whole idea of rating.
Rate should really be based on what members feel and think about host, not only if host do his/her best in show, so even if you do everything right in show, and do all the member ask from you, member has the right to give you 4 star if he feels like you was worth for 4 star, not 5 star, how is that unfair?
Sometimes you hosts are like little kids crying out that you didnt get best number on every lessons in school.

It is just a meaning that there is a certain of a poor non educated guys here that is why they not even know how to appreciate what the host doing to pleasure them.. eventhough they are being please by the host still rated as low as there mind.. but for all the nice guys here and well educated they not even make u try to make your worst your ratings, 'coz they appreciate what u can do only to them unlike others.. even a rush guy still manage them, please them just not to have low ratings so why still I have get low ratings? only because they have a fav. host here.. if they can see that I got lots of pvts than there fav. host.. that is the circumstances of guys who have fav. host here..
