holiday in piter
A buddy and his wife (a rather mature American couple) just got off the train in St. Petersburg after visiting a series of monasteries when they were approached by a few young people who stood very close to them while talking and poking their camera and jostling against them.
You guessed it. One of the youths got their passports, exit visas, credit cards and money. Merry Christmas!! When I asked him why he didn't have all that stuff in under-garment wallets, his excuse was they were tired and not thinking.
This is not to give Piter a black eye, it's to warn ALL travellers to put all such valuables UNDER all your clothes, so even you have a hard time getting to it.
I tie a couple of those hang-from-your-neck wallets to my belt on opposite sides of my body and shove them down my pants after I cut the string short. Here the money and cards are reasonably accessible.
If possible I leave my passport in a safe and carry a photocopy. Otherwise, I have a travel wallet that is worn under the arm, under all your clothes.

RE: holiday in piter
I visited Russia in 1998 and very much enjoyed being able to see this facinating country and meeting many people from different walks of life. I took a train from Moscow to St. P, A Russian friend---half kidding, but serious---told me how just a year or two before, there had been a series of "gasings" in which criminals put hoses with a sleeping gas under the sleeping compartments of passengers, then broke in the door and robbed people.
Apparently at the time they had very limited security on the trains, the attendants being mostly poor babushkas (elderly women; grandmothers). What's more, the locks on the sleeping compartments were not very secure. Upon boarding, I asked a Russian passenger about this and he told me it had in fact happened to him. He was a business man and made the Moscow/Sankt P and return trip quite frequently. After much outcry and publicity, the babushkas were replaced by armed security guards and the doors on the sleeping compartments made more secure.
What a lovely city St. Petersburg is----sometimes called the "Venice of the Baltic." Seeing St. P. and spending a day at Peterhof, instilled in me a real appreciation for Peter the Great.

RE: holiday in piter
It was a story about being careful while travelling, not a specific country.
When three Romanian students arrived in my American city the work for the summer they foolishingly went around the corner from the bus station with a stranger and were robbed of all their papers and money. I asked them the same questions about safety.

Tongue trick ability
Up until a couple of months ago there was a pretty redheaded Russian girl here who went by the name of "juicylilly". She could make an awesome tongue clover, and shape it into various other positions. She also had a very sexy yawn. She would open her mouth and her tongue would form a perfect bowl inside of her mouth with the tip of her tongue splitting into a V-shaped notch. Sadly I believe she has left CC but her pics are on her site here of her doing the "clover" etc. But(!!)...it's not all bad news!! The most talented tongue for making shapes I have everseen is still here!!.. and she is also one of the prettiest and nicest girls on CC as well...her screen name is Calixxdream, and her tongue is absolutely incredible!!
For you sweet2try
Thank you for being nice, sweet, honest, and an uninterested friend. You are the best I found on this site. Hundreds of Hugs and Kisses for you gorgeous!
RE: My type of text chats, lol
Hmmm, I think your customer service communication skills need sharpening. :p
RE: My type of text chats, lol
Truthfully I might very well have left too if the conversation had gone that way.
I very rarely read the profiles s the vast majority say "Turnoffs : Rude people and smelly feet" and that just depresses me as I fit both descriptions :(
Also every girl I have videod with has told me at least what country she is from (although I know they could be lying) even when they have had "Not telling" in their profiles.

RE: My type of text chats, lol
INYF, I guess "rude people and smelly feet," must be stock answer #3 for those without anything original to say. I love the sense of subtle wit of host Dark Moon:
Turn-Offs
I guess I am supposed to write here "rude people" and "smelly feet"
What you can expect from my show
am I to do shows here?
Why I Am Here
really why?

carving out that lucrative cold fish niche that the members so love......fabo!:)
RE: My type of text chats, lol
Wanda is far from being a cold fish. She is fun to talk with as well as being sexy. it seems everyone here had a bit of a sense of humour failure - something that you shouldn't do if you are going to chat with her.
RE: My type of text chats, lol
dude, i was only kidding myself.... jeeeeeeez lighten up, will ya?
RE: My type of text chats, lol
Charlotte there is nothing wrong with not saying where you are from, although most of us know where you are from or at least where you are living now, it is in the way you say it.
If you're even worse than Cum4MeWithMe I'd better make sure I know your profile inside out before I come visiting :P

Do you mean mistress as in someone you fuck when you are married but who is not your wife or mistress as in a girl who pulls your pants down and smacks your bottom when you have been a naughty slave ?
RE: Mistress Experiences
being scratched bloody by long sharpened fingernails...........awesome.
RE: Mistress Experiences
In real mistress is someone who takes control and orders you to slave for her also punishes and is dominant. here in cc mistress takes control of session maybe teases makes to kiss shoes etc also likes to seeslave perform
a new standard
I just decided on a new standard on going to video. If I feel like I'm being rushed to video I see how long it took her to start pushing it and I say something like: "I see it took you 2 minutes to ask me to video, I agree if you are down to your panties in the same number of minutes."
Fair seems fair.
Fair seems fair.
RE: a new standard
I think most here will get to panties in less than 2 mins...
some glam and most shy and many not shy ..
in fact many are only in panties when you start the video, some just skirt and no panties ,,,
Not all here are after making the guys wait while they take off their over coats hehe
tho i have seen a few wearing pullovers and multi layer under garments lol,, really taking the extreme time possible,, but i gor bored so left..

RE: a new standard
I've heard the reason that $6 is the limit on videochat is that is was set by Visa and Mastercard. I don't know this for a fact, but other similiar sites I've been to, have the same limit. So there may be some truth to it.
RE: a new standard
Ohhh wow...Ur so fecking smart. How long have u been thinking about it before u came to this genius idea?
For u its a game and a chalenge but for many of these girls its a way to earn their living and to pay bills.Me, personally, i nevre ask and even hint for a vidoe, cuz i have no problems about it and i work for myself, not for studio. But those who work in studios, sometimes have strickt rules, and they are forced to do this or that by bosses. THE JUDGE..Duh!

RE: a new standard
this is business. free chat should be for discussing details of transaction, vid for executing agreement. enough of nicety bullsheet! we are providers of service, nothing more!
RE: a new standard
Actually, when I see the delay and I was only passing by to chit-chat I will leave you in peace because obviously you have too many other chatters and maybe a viewer getting ready to enter.
And trust me, if I came to your shop and you were in a chit-chatting mood it would be a pleasure to pass a minutes with you.

RE: a new standard
How many minutes in text chat do you think is reasonable before asking you about video?
RE: a new standard
if you chatted more tha ten minutes you gave him the impression you actually liked it.
RE: a new standard
When a host says "Hi, I'm Anna, you want to see me?" at the top of the chat I simply say "Sorry, I didn't know you were in a hurry. My apologies." and I leave.
Hosts that want to get down to video so quickly seldom want to get down to skin just as fast.
I agree with those who say this is her job. But from my point of view I ask what is her job? Some hosts think the job is to stretch the video out as much as possible by playing dumb and pretending not to understand you until you repeat each statement to them three different ways and teasing out the strip, if it ever begins.
For others the job is entertaining and amusing the viewer in any way possible.
Guess which one is popular and richer? It's not about big boobs and teenage face and deep penetration. It's charm and grace and excitement.
It's about being a geisha, whether sex activity is involved or not.

Avr0ra whilst that may be true in the real world in the virtual world where I am paying by the minute there is no way I am going to wait an hour for a girl to remove her panties and I definetely will not wait until she wants to do it for me herself :P
about relations in internet
Hello! I want to ask if you guys have had any experience to meet men or wooman from CC. I have a guy here i know more than year and he always was a real friend for me but his stories for last 6 month are unbelievelable!!! I trusted him but after that troubles in his life (i think they may happend only in movies) i am affraid to meet him in real. brrr. Could you help with your advises please:)
RE: about relations in internet
what does your instinct tell you? I have meet members from cc,great people, and have host friends that I havent met yet,, For me its all about intuition, usually works.
If your dont feel good about it, then dont. take your own safety first, thats important. Many good people here, many wierdos and im sure its a few psycopats too. (!!) Only you can decide in this.

RE: about relations in internet
Never meet someone who has such colorful, scary stories in his (or her) life. Do you want to be a part of those stories? Do you want to be sucked down into chaos?
If a host tells me about all the money she owes and all of her sick relatives and the things she needs, why would I want that?
If a member tells you about a horrible divorce and his ex-wife is sucking all of his blood. If he never gets to see his kids. If he has to change job after job and owes money to the bank for 2 houses and 4 cars, why would you want to get close to that?

RE: about relations in internet
It depends what you want from a meeting. But "Ohe host" talks about 'trust' and 'real friend' and 'troubles' and being 'afraid.'
DO NOT MEET THIS GUY!! It's one thing to meet a reasonably stable guy for a short touristic visit or even for "fun and games," but if either side is trying for a relationship watch out for the red flags.

RE: about relations in internet
I met a host one time time for real, it was our first date and we we went to the movie, a love scene came on and I turned to her and said "Baby, that's us in two hours".
I went to bed alone that night and it was a different kind of love scene.

Unless you had already both agreed where you both were sleeping that night some time before that movie started you HAD to know you would be alone that night unless you thought she was that much of a slut.

hahaha,, thats not what you said,, hehe,, im sure u said smth like " Suck me beautiful" IMAO
RE: about relations in internet
2 things
1) the fact your asking for advice should speak volumes as to the level of trust you have for this person
2) you have provided your own answer - "brrr" - someone that causes you to feel that way ?- go with that feeling

RE: about relations in internet
Definitely go with your instinct. And if your instinct says "meet this guy", well, you need new instincts. Someone with that much drama in their life is not in a position to make good judgments about a relationship with a host. No matter how nice he has been, the host-viewer dynamic adds an additional level of complication to things. It's not just like meeting at the grocery store.
That said, I have met a host (and her family, long-term boyfriend, friends of both genders) and it was great. I got a free room, charming tour guide for her city and some of her country, and an open invitation to come back (which I've used). My advice to him would be don't have unrealistic expectations -- the site is built on fantasy. If the member is looking for a girlfriend he will need to win one on his own merits in the real world, not his charm on the internet.

I have met several CC hosts. Most as friends. The last one I have hopes will be more. We have met more than once and will do it again soon. I will tell you about it in private. Send me a CCMail and we can talk more.
RE: about relations in internet
What stories do u mean?
Well I did meet one guy from here, and that month we spent together was the best time in my life. He introduced me to everyone - from his mom and dad to his teachers at uni. Tho everyone told me -omg are u crazy to go meet him?? But it worked out for me. And one more thing. If u meet, but then u have to be apart in different countries-get ready for troubles. Cuz Long Distance Relationships are such a pain in the ass...We have so many problems now and i hope no matter what we will meet again this summer. Gud luck:)

RE: about relations in internet
I agree, long distance relationships are a pain. And if one appears to not mind it, then I think this person is not serious!
RE: about relations in internet
True, relations exclusively on the net are not healthy. However, MEETING on the net and then following with real-life meetings, communication, etc.
The interesting thing about the net is that shy people are more talky and it's often much easier to start friendships. But proper follow-up is necessary or it stays in cyber.
Cyber-only relations are also ok as long as both are heppy with it, but unltimately that can't be very satisfying.

RE: Nipples!
I love them too,, haha,, dunno..I dont like to big breasts,, nipple is mmmm,, love to play with them,,
RE: Nipples!
I love nice pink, perky nipples about the size of a quarter, especially when they are contrasted against a nice dark tan, giving them an almost peach color.

RE: new rules, stallers paradise
I dont understand. Are there restrictions in adult? hmm
Let me rephrase my original question.
What is the diffrence say between a little shy vs not so shy vs instant action vs escorts and MASSAGES (wonder how's that gonna happen) in terms of what they can or cant do in general without having to check each of them via text chat?

New rating system
i have been watching the forums in regards to this rating system, and to be honest i am finding this new rating system to be poor and unfair, now i know alot of reasons as to why this rating system came into place was due to alot of you members on here saying about the fact that you always had to put a rating and how you would like that to be showen on the system but to be honest which of you members really are fair, which off you really have a heart which of you are honest human beings to jude others i mean come on this whole world and everyone on here including hosts are own human beings, now i know we are all not perfect and have all our own individuality and personality but i really think some of you are being harsh and unfair and really using this new rating system to your own advantage, i think some of you think it is fair to make another person and human being suffer just for your own pure pleasure, well i think it is wrong in the way your being, i would be happy to see peoples res ponce to this post
RE: New rating system
I am hoping you can ask CC admin about that.
they would confirm the chat , and the sad attitude and delete that sorry assed score..
Always will be a few who abuse it..
Im hoping the rest use it sensibly..
we dont all score the same im sure , but it a guide..
some scores certainly dont match my opinion of a few hosts ,, good and bad ..
So i do see some scoring seems a bit bizare.
(girls with generaly =bad atiitude, high prices and poor cams , aven the fakers ,, still making 4 * ?? maybe some guys accept a lot less ? )
But hey , maybe im the fussy one ?
with the averaging ,,it should work ...........
lets give it time ..
Im pleased to see how some are moving to adult category for more fun as they want to .. some making new names and others , less shy just moving as they want to. you all have that choice, heres to freedom to do that .!!! cheers..

RE: New rating system
Not true, Cum 4. Since only the last ten votes count, it is removed in due course. I'm not defending the system; for the most part I don't rate at all. I think the rating system is just one more case of "hair splitting."
RE: New rating system
Maybe u should put it on your profile page, or tell members when they go in free chat, before the video.
I know some just go to video, but when u chat with them, explain it is the rules.

RE: New rating system
I think the rating system has it's merits if members use it fairly , and not simply to get back at some girl who would not do what they want. Unfortunately human nature being what is I don't think the system users will always be fair, and some girls will suffer because of poor ratings. Personally I think that the best thing would be to drop it and let members choose their girls from their profile information and picture archive. Everything in life is a risk lol !!!!!!!!
Anyway good luck girls, i love you all.
Anyway good luck girls, i love you all.
RE: New rating system
how do you know what rating he gave? does the system tell you after a vid session what the rating was? if so, why can't you report that one as an abuse by that member? it's easily proven, and they should block that user from voting if he's abusing the system.
RE: New rating system
but if only the last ten count, if you have a 5, then all threes, then I rate you a 4, your rating will drop, even though i rated you higher than all of the other 9 that now count. it's dropped because the 5 dropped, not because I rated low, right?
RE: New rating system
I was replying to your comment that you can tell because your rating "dropped." It could drop, even if i rated you higher than the other 9 before me, as in my example. So, if i come to you now, then after your rating drops, you would assume i rated you low, from what you say, but in my example, I might have rated you high. you can't tell from the effect of one vote.
RE: New rating system
Perosnally, the only thing about the new rating system that I pay any attention to whatsoever is the "no stars" designation when looking for new hosts. And then, the one main thing that draws me into chat/vid with a new host is her photo archive.
For any host to think of her rating as some kind of either validation or dismissal of the full spectrum of the qualities of her character that make her a decent human being I think is pretty misguided. I would hope none do.

RE: New rating system
ok let me ask you members, which of you have correctly used the new rating system and correctly and fairly used the new rating based on the host personality, which of you members have correctly put a fair and honest rating after you have finished a video with a host and put rating based on how you felt about the video, which off you have gone into a video with a host knowing you was wanting something that the host is going to honestly refused to do due to the new caterogries and new rules in place and still asked to do that something and have been refused that request have gone and rated a host badly due to that, i think alot of you members will abuse this new rating system due to you get a kick out of it and you like watching other people suffer
RE: New rating system
Even if used "correctly" though, the rating system is pretty nebulous. What exactly is one general star rating supposed to "correctly" mean anyway? Just to show in a very general way the level of satisfaction felt by the last 10 viewers? It's all subjective, and from a sample size that small, kind of meaningless. I really don't think hosts should let a low rating bother them much at all.
That being said, I always give 5 stars no matter what.
That being said, I always give 5 stars no matter what.
RE: New rating system
giving 5's is an abuse of the system too. couldn't you just not rate? that would be better than undermining the system by giving false information.
RE: New rating system
I don't see it as abuse though. I always go out of my way to find a reason that seems legitimate to me to give those 5 stars. You might not agree that that's a "correct" thing to do, but then I would have to ask what makes it any less "correct" than anyone else's personal, subjective rating?
RE: New rating system
but if you're justifying it, then that's not what you said. you said you just give them all a 5. if it's justified, then it's fair. if you really feel it's a 1, then you haven't helped anyone who might look for help in the ratings (and given poor feedback to the host). so are you saying it's justified or not? if not, then it's an abuse of the system as much as anyone giving a 1 to spite a host they didn't get along with. both are equally wrong and unethical.
RE: New rating system
Shush don't spoil the fantasy by telling me hosts have feelings and aren't just sexual robots here to satisfy my depraved perversions :(
RE: New rating system
I don't really know how the ratings work but have heard the following.
That only the last 10 votes count and that a person can only vote once a day ?
Anyway I think it is swings and roundabouts as what you lose on bad members voting unfairly you will gain on those members that will only vote if they are giving 4 or 5 stars and won't vote if they have had a video they were not completely happy with.
As member says I don't think they are that important to most members.

As member says I don't think they are that important to most members.
RE: New rating system
so tell me how many of you members do not take or even consider the meanings of the rating system and how many of you use it tyo make your say on if you want to speak to a host
RE: ONLY 10 LAST VOTES ARE COUNTED
Actually the rating system can be absuded by the hosts as well,,,, as some will ask for a high rating. Secondly if a host has a only a few regulars they will vote on the host based on their friendship rather than the quality of her show. So while it is an excellent idea by CC, it is an imperfect system which sometimes does not reflect quality.... not to mention that everyone does not vote. I don't like it but maybe it can be modified and perfected.
RE: I have a question
hm difficult to find good solution, maybeif u work from home and u have some messenger u can chat on cc and show a lil extra on messenger or u could make new screenname in adult and only tell/use it with the special guys, apart from that all u can do is take a chance or not show anything to anyone or send few saucy pics to the special ones.
RE: I have a question
Two nicks - two different services. Clear and easy and who cares?
Maybe if you will "show/do a little more" for only certain regulars I suggest your "Adult" screen be set to Private Show (which needs a password) and ONLY those guys which you send there can see. Of course I suggest you keep the price the same or maybe a little lower if you really like that person.

RE: I have a question
of course now you have posted it here using your screename anyone that visits you will know that you will do a little more for guys you like, kinda defeated the object i think
RE: I have a question
Joe I tried to say the same thing but wasn't allowed. Well perhaps you did say it a little bit more politely than me :D
RE: I have a question
Ah yes I see what you mean. That particular host hasn't been on-line since nov 2003.
RE: I have a question
It shouldn't matter, she is a performer and should be able to set her own rules.
And don't woryy, in a couple days the post will go to the next page and noone will ever see it.

Two trains travel toward each other on the same track, beginning 100 miles apart. One train travels at 40 miles per hour; the other travels at 60 miles an hour. A bird starts flight at the same location as the faster train, flying at a speed of 90 miles per hour. When it reaches the slower train, it turns around, flying the other direction at the same speed. When it reaches the faster train again, it turns around -- and so on. When the trains collide, how far will the bird have flown?
RE: 1
Since the trains are 100 miles apart, and the trains are traveling toward each other at 40 and 60 mph, the trains will collide in one hour. The bird will have been flying for an hour at 90 miles per hour at that point, so the bird will have traveled 90 miles.

what is Math
is this a short name ? Matthew ? usually Matt ..?
or mathematics ? shorten to Maths.. ?
or some other erotic thing ?

RE:math=mathematic.
must be an Americanism then
English is - Mathematics = and abbreviated to Maths
English is - Mathematics = and abbreviated to Maths
RE:math=mathematic.
Why though? In British English does the word mathematics refer to more than one thing? Is it a plural noun?
RE:math=mathematic.
Just as there are many branches of science, eh?
So in British English, it's correct to say "Maths are the most sexual/erotic subjects" instead of "Maths is the most sexual/erotic subject"?

RE:maths=mathematics.
I Think we just Call it " English " ...
Its our Language , we are English ,,
Does not need any prefix thank you.!!

So, in English as spoken by the English, is it correct to say "Maths are the most sexual/erotic subjects" instead of "Maths is the most sexual/erotic subject"?
RE:maths=mathematics.
I am English but don't claim to have studied the fine points of my language , I would think that ..
both would be ok, and I would say "Maths is the most sexual/erotic subject"?
Tho i don't personally think of it as at all erotic, maybe from a non adult perspective ..only lol
Mathematics like -umm Electronics is a name...covering a wide range of finer topics and subjects , as far as I understand.
maybe not the best example but first that came to mind.
I have never heard the word Math spoken in English -I have heard the word Mathematic used as a singular item in a sentence such as
the mathematic solution was x
a singular example
RE:maths=mathematics.
While that may have been used I would say that the correct way would be to say the mathematical solution.
RE:maths=mathematics.
'Mathematics is.../Maths is...(BritEng)/Math is....(AmEng)' is correct because Mathematics is an uncountable noun.
RE:maths=mathematics.
An uncountable noun referring to a single, collective kind of thing, yes? It just seems kind of awkward to my American ear, I guess. Keeping the "s" at the end of the word after elision from "mathematics" makes it seem as if there's an intent to make it clear that it should be thought of as plural and should rightly be used with plural forms of verbs and such.
RE:maths=mathematics.
I agree and so often AmEng is so much more logical and sensible than BritEng. The latter suffers from a bad decision made in the middle ages to be historical in form (based upon Old French). Americans forged a far more fluid and modern verison which is the true international English now ofc. Nevertheless, I still feel compelled to say Maths and not Math - just habit I guess.
RE:maths=mathematics.
I dont agree its the true international version at all.
i chat with people from many countries , and many do not seem to like the American versions
I agre many of these countries learnt their English from England and English schools and links with England ..
As did most I guess ,,
so My Australian , New zealand, Indian , south American (with english schooling ) Pakistani . west indies , etc etc... seem to use mainly English,,

RE:maths=mathematics.
sure and I teach BritEng nevertheless, it's cos of USA that Eng became international - especially since we Brits lost our fkn empire!
RE:maths=mathematics.
No that would not be correct. It has something to do with Latin neuter plurals apparantly.
But I am assuming that in the USA math is still short for the word mathematics rather than mathematic ?
I have to admit I find it one of the more irritating American sayings.

RE:maths=mathematics.
Similar to plural nouns like "data" and "media" that owe their weirdness to a Latin etymology too, you mean?
Yes, "math" is short for "mathematics" in the U.S.
And yeah, I have to admit that "maths" kind of bugs me too. It just sounds very strange. :P

One thing we can all agree on, Gorty has a genius for getting us all going on the most obscure of topics! I'm still struggling with the notion of math/maths being erotic. Gorty darling, why do you put these ideas into my head? I just want a quiet life!
The Origin of the British & American usage of Maths vs. Math.
“hmm,”, First off, “oh” is right; “math” is an American colloquialism. And yes, mathematics did refer to and continues to refer to “more than one thing,” but the referents of the middle ages—that Ally alluded to---are not the same as those of the modern era.
Ally, I don’t believe the difference in British & American usage---in this case at least--- is attributable to the Old French influence being stronger in Britain than America. We Americans are no less heirs to the legacy of William the Conqueror. But your point is well taken insofar as the French influence no doubt became less for those Englishmen who crossed the Atlantic. [The State of Virginia is celebrating the 400th aniversary of the founding of the Jamestown Colony in 1607.] Nor, INYF, is the explanation to be found in Latin grammar.
The answer, I believe, can be best understood in two ways: 1) Understanding the origin of the word mathematic(s) and 2) Understanding how the word was used in the context of the Seven Liberal Arts that were the foundation for learning in the European Universities (Oxford, Paris, Bologna, etc.) that were founded in the Middle Ages.
The origin of the word mathematic is from the Greek “mathematikos” < “mathema,” meaning something learned. Thus it had a much more general meaning, which is still used today when we refer to someone as a “polymath,” i.e. someone who is knowledgeable about many things.
At the universities in the Middle Ages the word mathematics (plural) referred to the older four of the seven Liberal Arts, known as the quadrivium: geometry, arithmetic, astronomy and music. Later, the term mathematics referred to branches of mathematics as we use them today. Obviously astronomy and music would not be included in this modern sense of the word. But it makes sense to conclude that mathematics in the modern sense would be regarded as a collective noun, hence “math.” But if, as Ally maintains, British usage often retains its historical roots, then “maths” (i.e. things learned) makes sense, since we would hardly lump geometry, music and astronomy as a collective noun. So, just as we might call them subjects (plural), it would make sense to call them “maths” in the old sense. And, come to think of it, INYF, since the common language in the Medieval Universities was Latin, this was no doubt reflected in the Latin language (singular: mathematicus; plural: mathematica), but I’m still not persuaded this provides an explanation of different usages by Brits & Yanks…What about the Aussies and Kiwi’s, what do you guys say? (My bet is you use the British form!)

RE: The most sexual/erotical subject
I disagree. Although I was always quite good at math and got good grades, it was always my least favorite subject in school. I never thought of it in an erotic sense. When I think of the word erotic I think of something that awakens primal feelings within a person without requiring conscious thought about it, as if more on an instinctual level. To me, math is too analytical to be considered erotic. Perhaps you could offer us more insight as to why it is erotic to you.
RE: The most sexual/erotical subject
Yes Gortensia I find maths very erotic. When I add up all my money (which doesn't take long) and find I've got enough for a video I get an instant hard on :D
RE: The most sexual/erotical subject
talking in cherokee and dancing along a wild fire with a hot, sexy, beautiful indian girl---now you talking about sexual,, and far as erotical the subject would be how to please a woman in sex 101 ways--great book,, need more pictures oh
RE: The most sexual/erotical subject
he he, i like your point - but how long is the step to actual love then? my guess is that you have to uplift it to a ^2 order.. ;-)
RE: The most sexual/erotical subject
Maybe its like the financial part of math. All the bank ads always say, "You will receive a severe interest penalty for early withdrawel."
RE: The most sexual/erotical subject
Gortensia,
You pose a very interesting question, as you often do.:) As regards math---or “maths” as the British would say---I'm with Captain Caveman. I too disagree; and I share his curiosity as to why you find it the most “erotical” [rare usage]. I suppose one could make the case for it being so, but I think most people would agree with the Captain’s observation that “math is too analytical to be considered erotic.”
Again to quote the erudite Captain: “When I think of the word erotic I think of something that awakens primal feelings within a person without requiring conscious thought about it, as if more on an instinctual level.” In this regard, music, dance, art and literature seem more intrinsically erotic. Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring” caused a riot at its premier in Paris in 1913. And while mathematics has created extraordinary revolutions, I know of no instance in which the introduction of a new mathematical theory caused a riot. An intellectual “riot,” perhaps, but not one precipitated by its appeal to peoples’ primal instincts. Math, as a product of man’s highest power—reason—stands as a polar opposite to those things that are a part of man’s animal nature. Thus, it seems almost self-evident that a subject involving (or representing) bodily expression is regarded as inherently more erotic than something involving the faculty of reason alone. Dancers and athletes are often sex idols; math geeks are not! lol! And who would not be mocked if he or she were to argue that the Pythagorean Theorem is more erotic than the “Dance of the Seven Veils?”
Having said that, again I ask why you find math erotic? Is there a particular branch that you find most erotic? For example, do you find geometry more erotic than algebra, or do you find them equally erotic. (Not to be a smart ass, but does thinking about the quadratic equation or any mathematical proposition ever make you horny? In other words, is there a carnal element in your love of math? I ask because I can understand someone masturbating thinking about some sex idol, but I cannot fathom someone doing same while thinking of the Pythagorean Theorem!)
Although I disagree with you, I think I understand your opinion. Perhaps you would agree with the American poet Edna St. Vincent Millay who wrote, “Euclid alone looked on beauty bare.” If one considers that the erotic often has something to do with beauty, then gazing upon the essence of “beauty” (which Millay implies lies in the bare symmetry of geometry), is to gaze upon the essence, or unseen skeleton of the erotic. Perhaps. But when one is excited by the sinuous motions of a dancer, it is not the underlying symmetry or biophysical descriptions one might make of the phenomenon that we experience, but something else. It is something primary (or primal), something pre-rational. The analytical element comes after the event. For example, musicologists can do a harmonic analysis of a Beethoven symphony, but this does not constitute the essence of that work of art. Their descriptions are rational and true, but it does not fully describe or account for the act of creating that work of art. If it did, anyone could learn how to write music with the unique genius that was Beethoven’s. Yes, it is possible to imitate, but imitation is just that: imitation. It is not original genius.
A good mind is one of the elements that make a woman sexy to me. I much prefer a woman of ordinary looks (I don’t say ugly!) who has a good mind, to a woman of great physical beauty, who is dumb. So, I can understand how the element of the “rational” appeals to you, but as for its immediate erotic appeal, I’ll take a dance over an equation any day!

Marriage is the most sexual subject lol) Mmmmmm Mariage:P
RE: The most sexual/erotical subject
I don't think of marriage as a "subject." It's an institution. But as Mae West said, "Marriage is a great institution, but I'm not ready for an institution yet." lol!
RE: The most sexual/erotical subject
I love you Gorty despite you being barmey! Hmm, or maybe cos you are....
RE: The most sexual/erotical subject
Ally,
Good to see you man! Did you take a sabbatical? You always send me to my OED with your British expressions. (Btw: DM is right; it's "barmy.") Still, I don't know how you are using the word here. Gorty is certainly "excitedly active" [one meaning cited in OED] with her questions, but not "daft, dim-witted or crazy" [another meaning]....Well maybe a little crazy, but in the best sense! lol!

Gorty has, quite rightly, quizzed me since about my post - I then amended 'barmy' (tnx Kris) to 'quirkily eccentric'. Hmm, but I still prefer 'barmy' used with much affection to descibe one of my fav nutters. lol

RE: OK INYF heres a riddle
I don't know because I was one of the 11 people to get off at that first stop because we had stopped outside a bar and brothel.
However I did see one girl leaving the bar who looked like she was going to get in the driving seat and she had very pretty grey eyes.
So I will go with that :D

The logo on the bus would be red, does that help? Shortline (the "railroad" in the game Monopoly that isn't really and never has been a railroad) covers the NY to PA routes and their logo is red.
RE: Marriage
Captain, Of course they do, and they are disproportionately blond. As George Carlin quipped, "There are far too many blonds in heaven as far as I'm concerned." You've got to get up to speed on eugenics as applied to the angelic realm! Lol!
RE: Marriage
AIRYGIRL, We too use the expression "mouse-brown," but it doesn't have a positive connotation. It's funny you should mentioned those who color their hair blond---which we sometimes here in the US refer to as "bleached blonds." A host here, Stripperella, who is a smart, funny lady, became a blond some months back. I tried to talk her out of it. I thought her natural brown hair was quite lovely, but she said she had empirical evidence that blonds are patronized more by guests that brunettes. I hope for her sake, it has improved her earnings, otherwise it was all in vain!
Frankly, I don't understand why some women engage in what a friend of mine calls, "chemical warfare," i.e. bleached hair, tons of makeup, overwhelming (often cheap) perfume, etc. Such women seem so phony to me. What they think enhances their beauty actually detracts from it.

She doesn't know all my holdings are in a Family Trust and can't be touched. As long as we are together we share it, but if she leaves me she's on her own.
She can't say....
....you didn't tell her up front! Now you'll know whether she likes you for the person you are, or just what you HAVE. As the late Billie Holliday put it:
RE: She can't say....
Of course. It is the man's responsibility to provide support to the best of his ability for himself and his family. That is his job. It is also his job to protect his assets. For instance, on a certain day I own this and this and that and this. It is mine, it belongs only to me.
On the next day I get married. From that day forward all the things we buy and earn together belong to both to be shared. But if I have a big house and big investments from earlier she can't have them. She only owns what we get while together. Of course, I will have an honorable good wife and we won't separate. This is only if she is a Gold-Digging Green Card Bride.

RE: She can't say....
obviously u don't live in uk, if u get divorced here she even gets one of ur balls to hang from the rearview mirror of ur car..which is now her car and she parks it in the garage of ur house which is now her house, etc
RE: She can't say....
Obviously you don't know how to protect your assets. See a financial advisor, or an attorney or barrister or counselor or whatever you call them. You can be sure there is a way to structure your assets to protect them.
RE: She can't say....
“the fiancée,”
You are right, but "h's" reply reminded me of the line, "Yeah, I got a divorce. My wife got half of everything I own; her lawyer got the other half." lol!
I'm not sure how things play out in the UK, but in the US (where I understand 60-70% of all lawyers reside, though the population is about 4% of the world's population) divorces are often quite nasty. My take is that attorneys encourage the two parties NOT to communicate. They encourage discord so they can rack up billable hours. Couples who divorce could save themselves a whole lot of grief AND MONEY if they could communicate rationally without the inflammatory intervention of lawyers.
Shakespeare was right: "First we kill all the lawyers." Though lawyers like to cite this line as a pre-emptive move against criticism, I don’t think Shakespeare was kidding. For my part, I think US society would be much better off with fewer lawyers. Of course we need some lawyers, and good lawyers in every branch of the law. But we could well do without the late-night-TV accident lawyer class that has grown up in the US. (Btw, can attorneys advertise on TV in the UK?) What an affront this class—and to some extent the corporate class*--- is to the majesty of the Law itself!
Some years ago I joined an organization called HALT (Help Abolish Legal Tyranny), which is committed to exposing how one can easily do on one’s own (or with minimal assistance) many ordinary legal operations, such as simple wills, divorces, power of attorney, etc. It has been successful promoting legislation that allows paralegals to hang a shingle and prepare such documents at a fraction of the cost an attorney would charge---who would have his paralegal prepare it in any case. These operations are quite perfunctory and there is no need to pay an attorney a huge fee for such. (Needless to say, the American Bar Association opposes HALT's agenda.) But attorneys engage in obscurantism. They like to give people the impression that they are needed for the most fundamental of legal proceedings. Rubbish!
It’s a well-worn phrase here in the US that, “A man who represents himself has a fool for a client.” In certain matters that is decidedly true, but not at all true with regard to the simple matters I cited above.
*In the US there is a hierarchy in the legal profession. Criminal lawyers are at the bottom. Lawyers from “blue-blood” (historically that meant old-line, old-money, Protestant) firms representing the old corporations are at the top.

*In the US there is a hierarchy in the legal profession. Criminal lawyers are at the bottom. Lawyers from “blue-blood” (historically that meant old-line, old-money, Protestant) firms representing the old corporations are at the top.

Detective, Yeah, you're right, but often these guys are the same guys that represent petty criminals...the late-night TV guys!
RE: She can't say....
In the UK we have adverts along the lines of "Have you had an accident at work that wasn't your fault? We will work on a no win no fee basis." However what legal qualifications they have I'm not sure.
RE: She can't say....
Are you saying people can sell legal services even if they are not barristers?
RE: She can't say....
Melomane, not all divorce lawyers try to spread discord between the parties. More often, they're the calm ones trying to convince a vengeful client not to do stupid things just to get revenge. The vast majority of US divorces never go before a judge (I think it's 95% or so). Sure, some of the compromise is only reached because the lawyer convinces the client that's how it will be decided if it goes to court. But that's still compromise. My divorce lawyer was very good about proposing steps to save money. As long as people are getting married, they will get divorced, so it's not as if the good ones are hurting for clients.
RE: She can't say....
People stereotype and generalize about lawyers just as they do CC hosts.
RE: She can't say....
you're right. and when it comes to any professionals who earn good money, it's always the socialists who whine and try to characterize them in simplistic, sweeping terms as evil.

Money, you got lots of friends,
Crowdin' 'round the door,
When you're gone and spending ends,
They don't come no more.

RE: Marriage
depends, how much money you willing to shell out to her, her family, her friends and her boyfriend?
RE: Marriage
Lol, you forgot the scam agency that set it up too!...."Hey, have I gotta' deal for you!"
RE: Marriage
You have to be careful. I talked to a girl from Russia online for months. We got on great, spent a week together and she was totally angelic. Almost perfect. Got me thinking wow, I've never met a woman like this before. Saw her a few more times. Each time for about a week or two. Once she realised that she "had me" she got worse and worse. She went from angelic to whining, complaining, criticising, never satisified, "I want, I want, I want". Just remember - the novelty for both of you wears off and then the reality hits home. Thank goodness I didn't marry her!
There's nothing "special" about Eastern European women over western women. Just always think "what would this girl have been like if she had grown up in my country". In time, she'll get half way there at least, I promise you!
