The claim that American English represents some kind of vocabularily emaciated form of the British variant is simply not true. Americans invent more words and phrases in a month than other English speaking nations do in a year. Many believe it is this very inventiveness that has propelled American English past British English in worldwide popularity.

What's more, though people often get themselves bent out of shape over the differences between British English and American English, the differences are not as vast as prigs them out to be. I always look for pics that look as if they were taken on a good quality webcam. (ie not a pasted pic from a still camera or a grainy pic). Hopefully I will then not be disappointed when I join the host.

Do hosts get addicted?
Hear a lot of posts from addicted viewers and general impression seems to be that hosts are only here for money. Which obviously main incentive for many. I visited a filipino host for a while, then her times changed strangely. Usually the hosts that have been doing this for a longer period of time get addicted...like me lmao. The short time ones usually leave and never go back. As an ex long time host I can barelly hold myself back now from doing a free show or smthg...i wouldnt do it for money again, but for the excitment ...yeap. Glad this post has generated so much interest! the story is true and it was surprise to me but then you think about it not so maybe. I think one factor was sudden move from phil to usa meant big cultural change and loss of family support etc so maybe cc hosting was a place where she knew the score and was familiar. Ex-host here and left the job for one year. After 1 year working crappy office hours and spending at least 9 hours a day in front of the computer (wich is a lot more then i used to spend while chathosting) I still make half of what I used to earn in here (and I didnt earn a lot comparing to other hosts). My social life is a lot better I agree but still...i am not very excited about my work (after two university diplomas I am still an ofice assistant) and the pay sucks. I come home tired and all I want is to go to bed and watch a movie or smthg. Things were a lot better when I was a host/student...the money were good (not great thou) but the responsability was almost zero...and i had tones of fun and orgasms:D. I do have high hopes for the future though and I wouldnt go back and work as a host again even if I enjoyed it a lot.

Maybe to get a good star rating from a regular you have to do a better than usual show? Do you ever give your viewers a freebie? Do you ever give him reduced private time? Do you send him CC mails when he has not visited recently? Do you do a very hot sexy show for your regulars? Lots of passive agressive men here. Could be they are just jerks. You look hot enough.

Well... good reason? Hmmmm. Understandable reason for sure, but not 'good'. There is host I am close to, and sure... I don't like the idea of her in video with other guys, but I realise this is her job and me giving her other than 5 star rating could affect that, and her life. So, I give her the correct rating and try not to think of thouse other guys! :P

I have found there are 2 main views in scoring and rating.
Think about school, sports (figure skating!) and job performance evaluations.
Some will give out perfect scores for the best performance they have seen and even for other excellent performances!
Others say there is no such thing as a perfect score and will give a high score to the very best performance followed by lower scores for other performances that are nearly as excellent!
This has been around all my life and I don't think it is going away soon.
Sometimes it would be nice if we were all on the same page! ;)
Life though, is so much more interesting with varying opinions! :D
Think of it this way Kate. Being an excellent chathost you will
attract more discerning viewers and get tougher evaluaitons!
So try not to let these ratings frustrate you too much!

Well I've visited a lot of non adult girls and have found that if you don't rush at them, like a bull in a china shop, then many are prepared to offer some nudity in 1 2 1. But it is entirely up to them, and if they say no, then no it is !! I always stay for a chat and always leave on good terms with the girl, nudity or not !!! My advice is always be polite and you never know your luck !!!!!!!!

But in some time i called her and said sorry (even tho i still dont think it was my fault), and i know she wanted to do the same but her stupid pride didnt let her do it. Everyth is gr8 now between us and we promised not to fight coz of guys anymore:) The bottom line is-if u love ur friend and if u need her/him-dont be proud, coz some things are much more important:)
