There is a host I've dealt with off-and-on for some time now and I'd love to be with her. I know it...she knows its...but like a lot of situations in life where you accidentally meet someone -- and you find the love of your life when you least expected it -- there are a few "complications" (to put it politely) that need to be worked out first. As for marriage, that's a big step and I think two people should only do it when they're really ready to commit to something special and ready to put in the work to make it work -- and I'm sure anyone who is married here will admit it takes a lot of work to have a successful marriage. On the other hand, God bless 'em, my parents were married for over 50 years till my Mom's death a year or so ago, so I certainly believe that two people can go the distance and be happily married for the rest of their lives.

Will we get together? The romantic in me certainly hopes so. I know with every breath I take that I can honestly say i love her with all of my heart. But will it REALISTICALLY happen? Well, as the saying goes, it takes two to tango, so go ask her! My engine's running and I'm ready to go, but we're waiting for her to make up her mind and get her incredibly cute butt in gear! ;)

If a television series is purposely meant to build interest by introducing mystery after mystery, compelling its audience to continue to watch so that those mysteries will eventually be explained or resolved, then, yeah... it should explain and resolve all that. To not is just, ugh, annoying as all hell.

I think that the finale was great. This was a great show. Did the ending tie everything together nicely? Not so much but, I did not expect it to. I like that I am able to interpret things the way I want. It was a perfect ending as far as I am concerned and I will most definitely miss Kate. She is a hottie. :)

I never did get into watching it and now its over. Oh well, I'll wait for the boxed set of Seasons 1 through 6 to rent from the video store or borrow from the library.

as for berlin, there are lotsa guides, which lead you through all that sight seeing stuff. as long as you dont go in winter, you cant do anything wrong.

Your question is not easy to answer, because it depends on your own preferences. But if you are excited about going there, and asking about what sights to see - I presume you do not hate historic places and architecture, so here goes - in short words and to the extent of my knowledge:

* Berlin - I haven't been here but will probably some day, and these are the things I would have in mind:
Brandenburger Tor, Unter den Linden, KaDeWe (just to check the 'size of that thing'), Kaiser Gedachtniskirche (left more or less as it was after being bombed in 1945), Reichstag, Berliner Dom and maybe Alexanderplatz with the TV tower and Potsdamer Platz - and of course Tiergarten and a stroll along Spree. If you have a little extra time you may want to visit Schloss Charlottenburg outside the city, and a small tip: visit the foyer of the Radisson Blu hotel - it holds a 25 metre tall cylindrical aquarium.

* Prague - I have been here, and it is 'small' enough to cover within the space of a couple of days. My itinerary was this:
A stroll through some of the old town area, including of course the magnificent main square with the Tyn church and the town hall with the famous astronomic clock - watch it as the hour strikes full (if you can find room in the throngs..) but a beer at this place will set you back a hefty amount - go 100 m away and lose the view, but enjoy the lower price and better quality food.
You could visit the jewish part of town and see the somewhat famous graveyard, but they charge you the price of a full dinner to see the tombstones (yes, really!)
Stroll across the Charles Bridge (Karlov Must) - 520 metres in total, and try again to fight your way through the throngs, but it is still nice - and you have great views around you.
Take the funicular up Petrin hill, maybe visit the smallish 60-metre Eiffel-tower-lookalike for some great views, then stroll back to the castle top, visit the magnificent St Vitus cathedral, perhaps visit 'Golden Lane' (extra charge here too), then stroll back down and through the newer parts of the town (Mala Strana). Go across Kampa Island and pass one of the theatres and the weird-looking 'dancing house' before heading to the large open Wenceslas square.
If you have time for an excursion outside the city, these are suggestions: Karlštejn castle (30 km or so away), Kutna Hora some 70 km away with a stylish looking church and another church which is literally decorated with the remains of people (known as the 'bone church').

*Rome & Vatican: I have been here three times and feel that I have covered quite a bit - finally.
The obvious sights are of course Colosseum and the Forum Romanum. Palatine is less interesting, I would say (go for Forum Romanum). Circo Massimo is only a wide open space and not too interesting. Visit of course St Peter's cathedral, perhaps go to the top of the cupola, don't miss Michelangelo's 'Pieta' which he did when he was only 25 - to the right after the main entrance. Vatican museums? The queues can sometimes be long, even in the morning. My advice - go later in the day, after lunch, and do not spend too much time strolling through the rooms - for me, the highlights were the map room with an awesome roof decoration, and of course the Sistine Chapel which is even better in real - you can't get any impression on pictures or tv that justifies its beauty.
Walk along the 'Via del Conciliazone' to Castel Sant'Angelo (you can visit inside - it is a museum), and cross the bridge of the same name. If you want, you can walk along the river Tiber (Tevere) for a while, but last time I did, it was not so pleasant due to some people obviously using stairs up and down as a public toilet :(
Drop by Trastevere, which is said to be really nice, although I wasn't too impressed.
There is a lot to see outside Rome too, and here are my tips on small excursions:
Via Appia Antica - great walk along the ancient road ("all roads lead to Rome" - it was along this road that the slave Spartacus and his followers were crucified) - don't miss the catacombs, either.
Parco Aquedotti - a magnificent aqueduct that rises to a maximum height of 28 metres and is another pleasant 'park-like' stroll.
Ostia Antica - reachable by train, 30 km outside the city, a quiet ruin of the old harbour area near Rome - like a more pleasant version of Pompeii - without the crowds, but without the spectacular history of course.
Tivoli, with Villa d'Este (renaissance style) and Hadrian's Villa (ancient) - popular day trips.
Napoli and Pompeii can be visited as a long day trip (mine took 14 hours) but I felt there was too little time in Pompeii.

I do have more detailed information about stuff like how-to-get-there as well but I will not post that right away..unless it is interesting.

I am quite sure I forgot something - this was just off the top of my head :)

Right..I knew I had forgotten somthing - about Rome in particular of course:
Don't forget to visit the Spanish Steps - not a particularly impressive sight in itself, but as they say - good for people watching.
Also, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi and Piazza Navona are worth a visit. And you don't even need to throw a coin into the fountain to return ;)
Another tip - a not-so-well-known sight which is just a stone's throw away from Pantheon is 'Area Sacra di Largo di Torre Argentina' - four ancient temples that are the oldest parts of the city, which is saying a lot - they are considered to be around 2400 years old. It was close to this site that the 'famous' assasination of Julius Caesar by his own brother happened.

And one more tip - when in Rome, do as the Romans, they say (and tourists do too) - try their ice cream - gelato - the best in the world! My favourite is the fruit sorbet ones - limone...mmm!
The prices will of course here too be highest near the famous tourist spots, so my advice, if you are near the Stazione Termini (main railway & metro station), go to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and from here it is just down a road to 'Palazzo del Freddo' - Italy's oldest ice cream house, which is saying a lot! 2 € for a medium sized cup and three flavours in March :)

I live in Prague. It's a lot more compact than Berlin and Rome, so you will be able to see just about everything worth seeing during your stay.

The main point about the city is it's beauty, so one would be best served simply by sitting down at the river, taking a drink, and watching the world go by. Bit cold here at the moment though brrrrrrrr! Global Warming my arse!! *LOL*

I will always prefer to call and toss the phone number afterwards rather than to give out my personal phone number. So each host should speak for herself :) not for all.

Big topic with me. As was mentioned the phone symbol is supposed to mean the host will accept phone calls during video. In reality that is often not the case. Over the years many hosts were unaware the symbol was in their profile and did not do phone with video. Some host prefer that you use your mic and speakers so you can hear each other. Hosts are often reluctant to give their private mobile phone numbers or the studio does not have a phone close to the host for use during video. I have found that lots of hosts are willing to do phone with video when they do not have a phone symbol present. Most say their english is poor. I usually like to have them hear me and their voices are always very sweet and accented english drives me crazy. So don't always count on the phone symbol and if you are into phone with video...ask any host. The hosts generally give you the number only when you start the video. A couple scammed me with bad numbers...wasted minutes calling the local laundry. You can get phone cards that will call Russia for pennies a minute...a bit more for cell phones....or switch to Vonage World and calls to Russia (land lines) are included in the monthly fee. I think it makes the video a lot hotter to talk to a host on the phone during video..especially a new host who turns a nice shade of crimson during the call....

I think phone in video has dropped in popularity since Cam2Cam started to also offer sound. I prefer to sit with a headset on and leave my hands free.

I think using a phone makes it more real for a host. Using a mic and speakers for her is just part of the job and she probably doesn't use them outside of the job....a phone however...for a young woman that might as well be grafted to her body....it is intimate...it is familiar...she reacts differently than through a mic and speakers. I find it incredibly hot. But that's me.

I don't know what hockey game is going on, but since the playoffs are still going on in the National Hockey League (NHL) in North America, several Olympic level players, including some that just won a gold medal with Team Canada, are not going to be there. I haven't checked, but there are probably some top Russian players that won't be there either. (Ovechkin and Malkin may be there since there teams got eliminated from the NHL playoffs.)

Whatever game you see, it will not be a true representation of either team but have fun.

I think chathost behaviour rule no. 1 states that excessive and unwarranted rudeness to either members or guests is not allowed. It also says that not responding counts as rudeness. Since guests can only join text chat this must be included.

You are yelling at the wrong guy here. I am not bitching and do not personally have a problem with anything you have said you are doing. I seldom use text chat. I was simply pointing out the actual situation.I specifically included the word "unwarranted" to cover the situations where the member is a waste of time or has himslf been rude.
Rule 3 also asks hosts who are not available for text chat to please display an appropriate message to say they are only available for video chat or will be back later for text chat.
I never mentioned penalty points and i agree that CC is unlikely to give points for this but if they applied their rules strictly they could do so.

You are 100% right in everything you have said in both forums on these issues. The only thing that you failed to note in the viewer forum is that text chat is not accessible if a host uses a password (at least it didn't use to be... I haven't tried lately).

Don't argue with fools. Between a misreading and misunderstanding of the rules, as well as English not being everyone's firsth language (although I think that the rules are in other languages), many hosts don't understand everything. The clear implication of telling a host to post "Available for Video Only" is that she cannot ignore members in text chat UNDER THE RULES.

I have no problem with hosts ignoring me in text chat. In most cases they are involved in a conversation with someone else that leads to a video. I have often said hi to a host and waited for a response only to have the video has begun message appear after several minutes of silence. Plus the host could be away from her station and would be ready to respond if she heard the incoming video alert. Finally for many hosts who do not speak even basic English chatting is a chore. They need to use translation software and it can be tedious. Even for those who have decent English skills it is tiring to speak in an another language for any length of time. If I got a dime for everytime a host didn't respond to me I would have a fortune and probably just spend it on CC videos...but is goes with the territory. There are tons of other hosts..no response...move on.

There is a veteran host called ItAintMe that has a message in free chat saying video only. Her open vid is $2 and 121 is $4. She is in Shy. I have never been in 121 so have idea what goes on there but open is just for chat.

I am not a fan of the available in Vid only message and I have never gone to video under those circumstances. I understand what the host is doing but for me it is a turnoff and I always pass.

You seem to be so keen to make your points you are not reading what others say. Casablancka said that if a host can't talk in free chat she should leave a message. The key word is "can't". This means she can't talk at all in text chat. Not that she wishes to talk with some members but not others. In your case I would still say you should at least tell the guy you don't want to talk with "sorry but i am busy with others at the moment I can't talk with you" or some other similar comment and not just ignore him.

If she truly CAN'T she should log off. Simple...

I think that it goes both ways. So, just as a host shouldn't waste a member's time in video a member should not waste a host's time by staying in free text chat for longer than a few minutes (5 at the most).

I always thought they should be teasers. They should show you the host in action. Action can be defined many ways depending on category. It could be a few minutes of conversation and smiling, it could be in lingerie or bikini, it could be topess...or it could be more. It should also be cheap...to show the goods and show just enough to entice the member to go to a long video when the host is live. Unfortunatley that is rarely the case. I have only seen a few and most were mediorcre at best and often, amazingly, did not show the host at her best. I suspect if a super hot host did a super hot pre-recorded video it would be fun to watch. But the essence of CC is the live interaction with the host...if you want one dimensional porn go to redtube

Chat is part of the softcore categories. To get to the level that you want instantly, a host and customer have to go through a bit of "get to know" process. Most people are going to want to have a little bit of the mundane background details to give them a picture of the person with whom they are speaking, especially when it's two people who have just met.

If you really want different conversation, then why don't you take the lead in initiating it?

No its actually all categories including IA. Not with every host, and more so in softcore,, but it happens more times than not.

You are quite right, a host can block any member she chooses to. It is also very possible that many members feel the same as I but choose not to speak up. And I was not complaining, merely offering some sage advice. There are several excellent hosts Ive had the pleasure of spending time with in video.

I mentioned this before but I did know one host who kept a log. The member name...all the specifics...age..marital status and details the member chose to share...hobbies, likes, dislikes. She was then able to flip to the page and recite details that gave the member the impression that he was memorable. Incredible marketing. She also sent a thank you cc mail to all men who came to video of any length. She remembered regulars birthdays. Gave some free videos to regulars. In essence she was professional and made a ton of money.

Actually I posted two separate posts. For some reason the first one didn't appear and the second one appeared twice. The earliest post still om here are from Jan 2006 not 2003. They lost the earlier posts due to a system problem not an upgrade. It doesn't take long to check if you know how.

I don't always read profiles, but I've never given a glamour or little shy host a lower rating because she doesn't strip. Given that she isn't required to strip, it would be unfair to give a lower rating in my view. I could, however, see the argument that required or not, stripping means you get a better rating since it means a better show, but given that a host is telling you she might not strip once she chooses glamour or little shy even if it doesn't say so in her profile, I think it isn't right to give a lower rating because of a lack of stripping. The one exception would be if she had naked or topless pics and wouldn't go at least that far at least in 121 even if she said no nudity in her profile. If she shows nudity in pics, it should be offered in video. I think there may even be a rule to that says the pics must be consistent with what is offered even if it is glamour or little shy.

If the host is not so shy or instant action, and if she doesn't strip, I will be giving her one star and writing to CC since stripping is required. I wouldn't care what she said in her profile. If it is fetish, I wouldn't give her a lower rating unless her pics showed nudity since once again, she is making me believe it is available. If it was dungeon and she was the mistress type, I wouldn't give her a lower rating for no nudity since she would be the boss, but I'm not into that type of thing anyway. If it was dungeon and she was a submissive, I think it might not make sense not to be willing to strip if told to do strip so maybe I would give a lower rating, but again, I'm not into the dungeon thing. Dungeon makes no sense to me, lol.

And by the way, I said lower than 4,5 stars, not 4 stars. And I didn't say don't visit... I just said that the chances of a good show start going way down once one gets below 4,5 stars. Still, there are some average looking hosts at a low price that do a decent show that could be worth visiting even at 4 stars. And if they are nice, I would probably give them 5 stars. I just avoid seeing them usually since 1/2 the time I end up being disappointed, And anything below 4, and it is very rare that I will visit.

Thats the fact, same with high rating.
So I dont trust these fucking stars at all, I met girls with 3 stars, who where great, and I met girls with 5 stars, who where boring and shit.
But one thing has to be a rule. Any host has to be willing to show as far, as they show in their pictures.
Or, other thing, there where glamour hosts, who offered me full nude strip in chat, and later they didn't done it, my simple answer is 1 star, and never come back

Good point except host often break their own rules. They say no strip but they do or for certain people. Same with pics in the profile. Some are virtually naked in their profile pics yet they say they won't take off any clothes??? I also have seen pictures that showed no skin and were hardly sexy and 2 minutes into the video the host is naked and pleasuring herself. So...it can be confusing for a member. Besides part of the thrill here is the illusion of seducing a host....yeah I know you don't strip but how about me...just a little. Some hosts are well aware of this and milk it for longer videos and higher profits. Next time save yourself time and aggravation and say right up front. Hi I am happy to meet you and by the way my show does not include nudity. You will see most members leave but at least you wont get upset at their requests.
