I've been going in there on and off since it started years ago and have yet to post anything publicly. I never stay long due to the large volume of PMs I get from hosts wanting me to come to their pvt for a "good time"

nothing wrong with getting pm's in there from a host, if to be many, few or not any at all, that still what makes cc and the community chat room a great place to be, even if to be quiet and watch others have a good time in there, that's what it is all about.

Sorry I wasn't clear. By what I was trying to say I don't think cc imposes a time limit on how long a member or host can be silent without typing something.

I do agree that the many free loaders on the net has ruined this feature for the rest of us who actually do spend money here and on other sites. But having a live free video avoids the complaint from any viewer that archive pictures do not look like the live host.

I think a good idea would be allow free teaser video to guys who have spent money on the site in the last month, or something like that. It would weed out a lot of the freeloaders, and reward those who actually spend money, make it a bit easier for a host and member to connect and have the member decide he would want a pvt.

I love being a free loader, its like advertisement, you get a chance on what you would like to spend your money on. Sort like building your favorites list up and the ones you want to go back on regular basis. There are a number of hosts in fetish and dungeon that offer this so I am pretty sure it is not banned by CC. CC bans things that cause permanent physical damage but candle wax does not fall into this category, especially if it is self inflicted.

Testosterone is what keeps this site and other like it going. By commenting on any viewer discussions in the Viewer Only Forum, you are interloping on what should be a discussion only between viewers. Viewers have a much different perspective than any host. As a viewer I would never intrude on a discussion between hosts. I have no concept of what it's like to be a host and you as a host have no clue as to how a viewer sees things.

The viewer's forum is often full of ill-informed speculation (which bizarrely some people manage to continue with even after an issue is resolved!). If a host reads what is written there and can give an authorative response that settles an issue, then I am all in favour of her interjection.

cc may supply (create) the facts (in this instance rules) but anyone, host or viewer, can be the conduit to authoritatively disseminate such facts. It is then simply a question of whether the dissemination is honest and accurate. There are several hosts that have viewer accounts. It is very easy to become a member. Also the whole topic of your post was what was being discussed between viewers in the Viewer Only Forum. Yes I know anyone can read the Viewer Only Forum but can not post unless they are a logged on member. Even non members and non hosts can read and even post in General Forum. And isn't Comm Chat the place for logged on hosts and members to chat in real time? Or have I missed something?

I never said all viewers are like me or should be like me. I only gave my opinion, nothing more. But it is a fact that this is a business. Viewers pay for a host's time in paid video to whatever that host may do in pvt. The number 1 reason any host is here is to make money. Like hosts love to say "There is something for everyone on cc" And for we perverts that just like to watch and wank there are may willing hosts, not only here but on as many as 40, 000 other porn sites. Let me try and explain my post more clearly. I am never rude. I never ask nor expect a host to masturbate or use toys. If it is what she normally does, fine. It would be nice to just sit and read sometimes in ComChat. With all good intentions, I know, people greet you as soon as they see your name in the list. It would be so nice to wait until someone actually types something before greeting them. Oh, and if a pm isn't responded to, just assume they don't wish to talk to you. No offence, it could be one of many reasons.

I think you are speaking in general terms, and as such I would agree with you. Of course there are always friendly people who try to welcome the new comer. But saying Hi and really including someone in the conversation are two different things. I would say to Thomas and to YesItsTrue that how welcoming you are looks a whole lot different to the newcomer than it does to you. And that's pretty much how it is in any already established group. I've been a member on this site for 11 years, and I've seen it exactly as you say it. I've also seen it from Thomas's perspective too. But by and large I do agree with you, for the newcomer the atmosphere in comchat is not always the most welcoming. It isn't totally the fault of the existing regulars. Newcomers may feel timid or intimidated by the conversation, unsure of their place in the community, unwilling to jump in lest they get ignored or rejected.

It does need some moderation. Someone who can lock out a host or member from Comm Chat for say 30 days. A few hosts insist on chatting in their native language. And a few members just need some professional help.... but so is the world and CC is a very odd slice of the world.

When you consider that texting is possibly one of the least effective ways of communicating in English, comm.chat often works remarkably well.

I have not gone to Comm Chat that much over the years, but every time I have, I've been greeted with a flurry of PMs. I don't blame the hosts for trying to drum up business, but it is interesting when I get PMs like "Hey bb come see for a hot show" Then I go and read the host profile and she talks about rude members and how she hates to be called "bb". Needless to say I have never went pvt with any hosts I've come across in Comm Chat.

A number of members complain of hosts not being honest, but when you are honest then members get mad cos they did't like what they heard. Seems that many members only want honesty when it is something they want to hear. Example...member says hi show me your tits and let me like your pussy..then asks does that make you wet....well truth be known...NO it does not...but if we say ohhh yes...then we are expected to start masterbating and sticking toys in...and then we are expected to do that every time...well if you are a light switch or robot then I guess that works for you...So it is a contradiction....and I see why so many hosts fake it....and why many just say what they think a member wants to hear..because as has been said here many times..by members they dont care if a host is aroused or not just do your job, because we are not paying to arouse host we are paying to be aroused by hosts.....so the member encourages hosts to be dishonest...just like hosts who see members as dollars signs and are dishonest encourage members to not care...
