What phone companies and calling cards do people calling a Romanian mobile phone / cell phone from a USA land-line or mobile/cell phone use? What is the price per minute, how successful are these methods in terms of getting connected, and how clear is the connection?

it runs from about 20 to 25 cents a minute...for a reliable service.anything cheaper than that and you constantly get cut off or have a horrible connection.i used PINPLAN for a long time ...worked good

I use cards from worldphonecard.com. They have low rates and very good connections. Try and find a card that does not expire and has no maintenance charges. You get less minutes but over all unless you are going to use it on a daily basis it is cheaper.

look up skype, it's an telephone over the internet type program and is dirt cheap. I use it and it works great for making overseas calls

I am the one she has taken exception too! I would like to clear the air. I consider myself of reputable means, i find it very difficult to lie and cause ill feelings of others. I have strived to help others, comfort and always try to see all in their best light.
I posted a message in viewers only, to let the company at CC of whom I respect and enjoy of how I felt. "Notanangel" had told for reasons unknown now to me now, that Friday was her last day. I was very sadden to hear of her departure and only wanted her and others to know how I and CC might mourn her lost.
I considered her beautiful, intelligent, witty and very adverse. She has a good mastery of the english language. I meant no harm or did I expect such a clamor for saying so. I really don't know what motivation "notanangel" had in telling me that she would not be here any longer, the comment did truly occur.
Origami, I know you have very strong opinion of others and I respect that but you have not had the pleasure of my company or can you ever expect the experience of my visit.
As for the language so many of you have criticized here. I really admire the girls of CC and their use of the English language. It shows a high level of educational skill and motivation to use the language as they do. I must say that I have tried to master foreign languages and had no luck in becoming proficent.
Also, I consider myself to have friends here and find this very therapeutic after a highly stressful day. I admire the beauty of the women here and their hard work. I know that all men here are not gentlemen and the woman must be at their best to continue to earn an living here and stay at CC.

No, I suppose it's not that important in generalized terms. However, it's the curiosity aspect that has (at least) me wondering just who in the world this "real bobbie" really is? Humans were created to have an equal souls and a human qualities but not an equal genders. I really don't know what motivation "notanangel" had in telling me that she would not be here anylonger, the comment truly occurred.
Origami, I know you have very strong opinion of others and I respect that but you have not had the pleasure of my company or can you ever expect the experience of my visit.
As for the language so many of you have criticized here. I really admire the girls of CC and their use of the English language. It shows a high level of education skill and motivation on their part to use the language as they do. I consider myself to have friends here and find this very therapeutic after a highly stressful day. I admire the beauty of the women here and their hard work. I know that all men here are not gentlemen and the woman must be at their best to continue to earn an living here and stay at CC.
