Yep, I agree. Before asking why many girls here have changed, you guys have to realize that you have changed as well. I am working here just for about a year but I also see the difference. I remember there was no problem with videochat, and even if I never ask for video so straightly like maybe some other girls, there were always some members who spent enough often and enough long time in videochat which never made me worried about how to drag them into my video. But now there are mostly those ones who don't want to pay at all and are happy with textchat only, or begging for lower price, or demanding for full show only if they come to video. All that makes the same attitude to them.
The bottom line is...the more you guys becoming greedy and demanding, the more the hosts becoming inventive and mercantile. So just think about it. There are no two opinions about why we are here. We are here for work and making money for living of course. It is another subject to discuss how SOME hosts act with their visitors. But most of girls here are very hard-working and responsive to the guys who understand this job is not the CHARITY and this site is not FREE.

Well you write very clearly and intelligently even acknowledging change in hosts attitude. Maybe the membership has changed too in this competitive environment. As a member who has been here a long time, I object to be painted with the same broad brush. I have never asked for anything free. But, new hosts demand changes which are frequently granted and therefore think of them selves as prima donnas while IMO members feel left out of desired or requested changes. Maybe I haven't kept up with the times and object to this perceived inequality. I am here and willing to pay any price but just ask for the same over used blocking power that hosts enjoy. Why CC does not give us this simple option is hard to understand.

I don't know what you are referring to when you say that hosts have asked for changes which are granted. Many of the most significan changes in the site over the past two or three years have been as a result of viewer campaigns/requests. The law of unintended consequnces did affect some of these. Others have been at the initiative of CC. I can think of few that were the result of host demands.

The usual reaction to a slowdown in business in CC is to raise the prices. That of course works counterproductively when the cause of the slowdown is economic. But the studio bosses and the host have to pay rent and eat too....plus go to clubs, buy makeup, and get that beautiful pair of boots that make their asses look great.

I agree with your observation at face value, but I think the answer to your questions can be found in an underlying psychology that is more fundamental and which can account for the apparent contradictions on the surface.

First, from time immemorial, human beings have so often wanted most what they cannot have. Remember in the Book of Genesis, Adam & Eve could eat of every fruit in the Garden of Eden, except the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil. So, which one did they want most? The one they couldn't have. And so it is with some guys here. It is the "forbidden" fruit that seems most desirable. One host here who changed from Non-Adult to Adult recounted how she "always" had more requests for nudity when she was in Non-Adult than in Adult.

Among the female hosts in Non-Adult, or those who change back and forth from Non-Adult to Adult, there are many who feel quite ambivalent about their presence here in the first place. But the bottom line is---Adult or Non-Adult---CC is in its essence an erotic web site and to pretend otherwise is either willful blindness or sheer stupidity. Many women (I don’t say all) have a repressed desire to perform in this erotic venue, but will not admit it to themselves. They tell themselves they are---as one self-deluded girl put it to me---“not like these other girls,” even though they are also purveying something essentially sexual in nature.

Presumably some girls in Non-Adult feel they can, like their Adult counterparts, sell something essentially sexual in nature without disrobing, thereby preserving their moral virtue. At bottom however, there is something bogus about the entire Non-Adult category here. The Friends & Family category deserves special mention for its disingenuousness. Is there anyone here who honestly believes that one should pay for friendship?
