A few reasons I think. It is more of a fantasy to think of a girl working from her own home (bedroom). Like she is doing something naughty. Makes it less like a girl who is punching a clock and showing up for work than a girl who is doing it for adventure and sexual curiosity. Some claim they are working in their homes with their parents living in the same home. A bit pervy but hot.

From the practical standpoint. A host working at home is more able to change their prices. They can't say my boss wont let me do that. They should be more flexible.

One problem is, if a host tries to set up on her own, the studio boss may stop her getting a CC account. He may also may try to give her a bad time personally and, in some of these places, that is really bad news if you follow my drift.

I have great sympathy for such hosts. Sometimes, it is much easier and safer to stay with the studio. You won't be surprised to know that some studio bosses are not so nice, complete assholes in fact.

It seems like the studio bosses are similar to the footballs agents. Getting more greedy than the players:)

Why do you have to say things to try to spoil a happy moment. No one brought Charlotte to the UK. As she has written in forums her love life has not gone so smoothly recently but she likes living here (especially Wales :-) ). She will support herself and does not plan to be dependent or a burden to anyone. Now she has been accepted at a Brtish University. Clearly we all recognize that we can see a lot by looking into someones eyes.

Forum member, "D," introduced the interesting question of what we first notice if we are seeing the person from behind, and it brought to mind an interesting story. Hope you like it.

HIDEOUS BEAUTY

Some years ago a couple of friends and I were in a pub having a few beers. Looking about we could not help but notice the lovely shape of a woman who stood with her back toward us. She was fairly tall, her ideal feminine form well complemented by her blouse and tight fitting jeans. Michelangelo could not have improved on the shape of her ass. It was a thing of near transcendent beauty. Adding to her allure was her long chestnut brown hair that shone with a subtle golden hue in the warm glow of the pub lights. It seemed to us that we were blessed to cast our mortal eyes upon a goddess in our midst.

After some time had passed we noticed our goddess had begun to turn around. At last we would be able to behold the visage of this comely goddess. Our demeanor was more reverential than lecherous. We seemed incapable of ogling. Had our eyes now been fixed straight ahead, we would have bowed our heads.

She turned. The three of us were rendered speechless. We looked at each other. Our shared astonishment was of mythic proportion. Our expressions confirmed our disbelief, as if we were witness to something outside of nature and experience. Could an all-loving God be responsible for this? The horror! The horror! Whatever inner-horror Kurtz saw, could it have been more disturbing than this? Was this God’s way of making manifest a moral precept that had only been conveyed in words, a truth that was preached by holy men and rendered trivial in latter day society by cynical functionary whores who work for Hallmark cards?

Yet it could not be denied. It was plainly manifest before our eyes: Our goddess had the most hideously ugly face we had ever seen. Recovering from our speechlessness, we began to grope for words to describe it. The word ugly was altogether inadequate to convey that polar opposite of the beauty we had just experienced while viewing her from behind. No doubt her face was in some measure “frightful,” but even this, we decided, did not do justice to render the experience vivid. The measure of her ugliness from the front was as ineffable as her beauty from behind. Never, we agreed, had these two extremes been seen in any mortal with whom we had come in contact.
