RE: who are?
...I always have a difficult time trying to get a one to one with missdelight because someone always has her in open for hours and hours and I still haven't succeeded. It has always been kind of an unwritten rule that you don't enter when when someone else is already in open with a host, and I have always respected it, but if that is the only way I can meet this beauty, then I will do it. And if the member doesn't like it, he can take her in one to one.
RE: Question for member ...
lol
But there are 2 questions, Do u rate or u do NOT rate the girl after the show ... :)

RE: Question for member ...
forgive my ignorance but i read it again, there is only 1 question i can see.
RE: Question for member ...
There is only one question mark (?) but there are indeed 2 questions, one either side of the word "or". You were right about being ignorant though! lol
RE: Question for member ...
1. yes, i rate a host after a show.
2. no, i do not not rate a host after a show.
:P

RE: need friendly advice
Let your conscience guide you. Does he just want a sexual meeting or just as friends?
RE: need friendly advice
never be rushed, wait until you are sure it is what you want.if he is serious he will understand & wait til you are ready.if he does not want to wait, then he is selfish & does not truly think of your feelings
RE: need friendly advice
yepp, my name starts with a T, and sure i am a handsome, charming guy,, though im not that old! :X:X:X:X
RE: need friendly advice
come on ! wake up ! He just wants some young bird to bang thats all ... 25 years :-O he could be your dad for fecks sake ........
RE: need friendly advice
Some guys like to be a "daddy" and some girls need a "daddy."
If it's only that simple then it is doomed because when you become 24 or 25 he will think you are too old. But if you grow together it could work.

RE: need friendly advice
but you could be an imposter like me just pretending to be the original hmm.....
RE: need friendly advice
He is just some old guy perving on an 18 year old girl. You will probably say that he is not like that and he is sweet and kind and blah blah blah, but he is just telling you everything you want to hear. Some of the answers to your question may have been sarcastic and harsh, but consider them and don't let yourself get taken advantage of by this old perv...you're too young.
RE: need friendly advice
my friendly advice is what are you expecting;
1. A cup of coffee: its ok
2. A date that leads into sex: its no
---matter of fact any other kind of date besides just a stop to have a cup of coffee" its no-----Stay cool sugar blondy

RE: need friendly advice
You've known him 16 days and he wants to meet you?
If that true...I would say don't do it. He wants one thing only, then he'll likely leave you. If you do meet him, have friends and family around and make sure he knows it's not a sexual meeting but only to see how you are together.
I would say, though...you absolutely should not meet him...yet (especially alone).

RE: need friendly advice
where did you get the 16 days from dude?
Anyway, to SugarBlondy, my opinion is to say no, but give him a "maybe later" ... gives you time to gather advice and figure out exactly what this old fart wants.

RE: Wanted

RE: need ur advice

RE: need ur advice
Based upon your original post, the only kind of help you need is psychiatric! You have GOT to be kidding right ... you are going to rent a flat for a member!?! You chicks must be making FAR too much money on this website!!!
RE: need ur advice
See your doctor and get a shot of penicillin. You are certainly not the first or the last.

Why?..(members' question)
Why do youbreak our hearts, guys? You say, that you loveus, and after some time! If you really likeus, why do you do so?...
RE: Why?..(members' question)
Many hosts said they love me. What they really love is the time I spend in paid video with them.
RE: Why?..(members' question)
he said he would always come to 121 to see me. now nevr 121, only in the lower priced option. he doesnt love me anymore!
RE: Why?..(members' question)
Grow up child! This is no yardstick of love; you certainly sound like one of those hosts who throw the word around casually with no knowledge of its meaning or concern for the repercussions.
RE: Why?..(members' question)
you got it wrong i have the worm(bait)between my legs, not the fish.
RE: Why?..(members' question)
No I didn't get it wrong if you use your immagination a little..... ;-)
RE: Why?..(members' question)
To try and get a hotter and cheaper strip. Men want a GFE. Girl Friend Experience.
RE: Why?..(members' question)
Why do you break our hearts, hosts? Tell us you love us, but love money more.
RE: To Mondo
You don't know? Ask anybody who has been here for more than 6 months. It was all over comm-chat and her profile. Now even that is empty.
RE: Why?..(members' question)
i think the discussion is not about love but about people who specul;ate feelings - hosts who claims they love their veiwers in order to get some cash and member who do they same with hosts just to see "something " for free r in same boat......there is no exuse. to them
RE: Why?..(members' question)
Love and Last are only start with same letter but shouldnt be mixed, it will may lead to a tragedy in the end.Doenst sound as if you are talking about love here:)
RE: Why?..(members' question)
if you really loved us why do you charge us for videos? Tit for tat.

I thought France elected it's President some time ago.
What else are they electing there?

RE: psy?
Nope.
I'm not following the things about politics, it has no point for me to decide about the fate of the ones that are in Romania considering I won't be affected. It wouldn't be fair for me to vote :)

RE: psy?
For the election of Basescu, I didn't vote, because I would have had to come to Paris and it's not like anyone from Romania would have given me the 150euros for the ticket.
Yesterday I didn't vote because I don't believe I have the right as long as I don't know how things are, and well,I don't think there's a romanian (among the 30% that voted) that really knows the truth..
Can't expect to make a difference when I don't know what is better..

RE: do u worry?
nothing wrong with it,
just do a very small one,
best with normal water instead of soapy.
the easiest way takes seconds, take the shower end off, put the pipe up ur bottom for 2 seconds and then push the water out. Repeat 1-2 times and you wont need to worry for the next 2-3 hours.

RE: do u worry?
That's an odd comment coz i had never even thought about anal sex until my last 2 gf's insisted upon it from time to time. Gave them far more pleasure than me i can tell you so from my personal experience hetero anal sex is mostly for the girl. Also i think a girl in touch with her body can tell when her arse pipe is clean or not coz i never suffered a cock smothered in crap.
RE: do u worry?
i love reading ignorant posts, makes me feel smart :P Anal does not mean ur gay fool.
RE: do u worry?
What a load of nonsense! How does anyone arrive at the conclusion that if you want anal sex with a woman you really want it with men? Being gay isn't about wanting anal sex - it's about wanting other men sexually and anal sex is just a possible expression of that.
Actually I think you'll find that most men want anal sex with women because it's slightly degrading for her, tigher/feels different and suggests dominance over the women or the earning of her trust in the deepest intimacy. Also it's considered "naughty" which is a turn on for some people.

Would you intervene?
Say you're walking down the street and you come across a small crowd of people gathering around and looking upon two or three men doing something that strikes you as the most cruel and most heinous thing possible to a single, defenseless person ... You see armed policemen close enough nearby that it's obvious that they must know what's going on, but they've chosen to only look the other way .. What would you do?
RE: Would you intervene?
i think i would ask a few questions to a few people to learn the situation more, i.e. is the 'victim' a victim or is the being treated cruely i piece of human garbage that should be treated as such , and that the people standing by watching accually in line to take thier shots at the person.
however if theone being mistreated is a true victim and the onlookers are the scum , then i think i would look for a weapon , say a stone and start hitting them, then try to run as fast as i can.

It depends, did this person deserve the beating?
Did he keep asking silly ass question to the public until they had enough? If so, then I say he had it coming.

I'd video the whole thing and auction it to the media for the highest price
little fact
Cats are smarter than dogs. You can't get eight cats to pull a sled through snow.

But you do find guys pulling sleds in the snow ..
so ?
I guess maybe another angle is
cats are just lazy
and certainly self centred,,
not sure if thats anything to do with inteligence ,,

RE: little fact
I have a dog and 3 cats . I love all 4 for different reasons. They all are loyal to me.
RE: little fact
One can argue that you can train a dog to say "I love you", but does she really mean it?
RE: little fact
a dog's love to it's owner is unconditional, hence"a dog is a man's best friend".a cat however is a different animal.
RE: little fact
mine sleeps on my pillow and wakes me up in middle of night by licking my hair and face while he is doing his washing :)
RE: little fact
Dogs come right away when you call them; cats take a message and get back to you later.
ever wonder?
Why the heart is smooth and rounded - maybe to soften the sharp painful edges when you let love inside it
Great new functionality
I like the new feature wih forward and back in the picture section - thumbs up!! But i was thinking about another little "easy" feature - what about zooming the pictures? - just use the browser to scale the pictures. Offcourse this should be selectable for the viewer since it would give some distortion of the picture... - but a zoom in general would be nice since the pictures are kinda small and my eyes are not what they used to be (lol)
RE: SPIDERMAN
"If?"...meaning you did not actually have this dream? And are you wondering, given the title of your post, "SpiderMAN," what the significance of a dream in which you become "SpiderWOMAN" is? Or something else?
RE: SPIDERMAN
"If" - doesn't mean she didnt have that dream, Melomane, but I guess she used russian grammar.
RE: SPIDERMAN
"if" you are a man and dream you are spiderwoman it can mean only one thing...your want to be a cross dressing super hero soaring around the city in bright colored tights....time to see a shrink
new feature!! thanx CC
when i check archives, and want to see a photo larger, i click on it and a new little window pops up, now it has at the bottom of it
<< Previuos Next>>
so i can click away on that and see ALL archive pics this size without constantly clicking on previous dates
AWESOME

Character
Who would you choose as the most genuine member and genuine host? If difficult to name, like to hear your definitions.

Whoever gets named only gets attacked by fellow hosts and members. Therefore I will not share my opinion

A guy with nick starting with SCREW hahaha
and Gortensia, tho she can be very annoying sometimes :)
No hard feelings girl pls, I don't want to be involved in arguments.

I haven't been here long enough to make those guesstimates.Milena you showed some of your character(good)by saying a person who can be annoying to you.You haven't let personal feelings influence your judgement.Anyone who gets"under the skin"of the trolls that seem to frequent here has a good start to having good character, imo.
Request for Clarification
Ally, What do you mean by "genuine?" Honest? Sincere? Or do you simply mean a "character" --i.e. a well defined presence---without regard to his or her virtues? I ask, because we all know there are in the world in general some real "characters" who are scoundrels, and some "genuine" souls who do not especially stand out.
RE: Request for Clarification
Mel, I was thinking of people with positive virtues - so much cynicism on this site yet certain people seem to shine through it, rise above it. I could mention some but it would inevitably attract unwanted attention from the sneerers and the like.
Honesty, kindness, warmth, humour not based on putting others down, those kind of virtues.

RE: Request for Clarification
I'm with you Ally, and I think you're right to refrain from citing them. Their virtues are in evidence and need no citation. At the risk of sounding religious and santimonious, it's the meaning of the line in the New Testament, "By their fruits ye shall know them."
RE: Character
I don't know any of the hosts well enough these days to answer that question. There was some but they're all gone now.
to be a he or not to be a he, that is the question
Supose a man has a sex change operation and wants to become a cc host. Should he/she be in transgender category or is it ok to be in the other adult section fooling those with poor eyesight?
RE: to be a he or not to be a he, that is the question
If he had a SEX CHANGE OP she should be in girls I guess.
If he only try to hide his cock between his legs and puts push up bras full with socks then in TS. My opinion.

RE: to be a he or not to be a he, that is the question
a person who has a sex change is by definition a transsexual.
RE: to be a he or not to be a he, that is the question
If the guy's aim was to be a woman, and assuming he/she is post-op with female genitalia and all the secondary sexual traits of a female, why 1) Would viewers be disappointed, or even know? and 2) Why would camming in the female category result in "low self-esteem?"---again assuming the desired aim is a good thing.
RE: to be a he or not to be a he, that is the question
Nah,
I agree with Melomane,
and I can't always tell if somebody is really a girl. There is quite popular host, I won't mention names, guys often say she is a tranny and many more defend her, and from her posts I assume she is a great person but to be honest when I went to see her pics out of curiousity I couldn't tell I see a girl.
As long as she doesn't have a pr*ck down there she should be in girls.

RE: Which language do you like?
I love how italian sounds and french is the most annoying sound for me lol
RE: Which language do you like?
I really like to listen to French or Russian, especially when spoken by a woman. Both very sexy to hear.
RE: Which language do you like?
Considering I'm daily speaking the three languages I know.. hard to pick one. I love Romanian because it's the one I know best, that helps me express all I can't in other languages.
I love English because I'm used to it, because there are things that sound better in English..
And I love French not because it's romantic.. hearing "merde" or "putain" coming from a girl's mouth, makes French sound vulgar, but well, it's the same for all the languages. I like French because it's my adoptive language and the books I read in French were pleasant..
Bah, any language can be fun.
Gorty, need help in French ? I'll send you a message and we'll see from there on, though I don't know about my free time :)

RE: Which language do you like?
Yeah, "merde" sounded like that because they don't pronounce the "e" as it is.. it's a bit longer and the last one you don't pronounce. As for the "r" well, it's rolled :)) Still trying to get it right and it sounds weird, it's obvious for most people I'm not french.
In romanian it's the same thing, we're reading the way we write, with some exceptions though "ge", "ghe", "ce", "chi"... and so on.
French is more difficult that English, for it's numerous grammar rules, there's so many of them, and specific cases..
"Merde" is not a word I like, it's "shit" but I dislike it for some reason.
Unlike russian, romanian, french is less harsh I would say, it sounds smooth. Depends now who's speaking it :))

RE: Which language do you like?
Gorty, ending of 'er' in teacher depends on type of English. British English pronunciation of 'teacher' ends with the schwa sound, very weak as in 'a'. Americans And Scots use a heavier sound, 'teachurr'. We Brits keep our tongue flat but the Americans and Scots curl the tips of their tongues upwards.
RE: Which language do you like?
Hungarian of course...especially when a sexy foreigner lady try to speak on my language:)
Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Gorty,
An interesting question. Better than those of the short-lived "That wud be tellin," whose questions reached such edifying heights in the form of, "Can you masturbate with two hands?; Can you Salsa dance? , etc...
English is my mother tongue and I am grateful for that because English is an enormously rich language, Germanic in origin, but infused with a rich Latin vocabulary. (Thank you William the Conqueror, or as the French call him, “Guillaume le Conqueror.”) In fact, I believe English has the greatest number of words of all the Indo-European languages. The unabridged edition of the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) is about 20 volumes. Begun in the 1850’s, it took about 70 years to complete! (An interesting story re: its contributors: The man who made the second greatest number of contributions (i.e. entries/words) was an American from Connecticut who was a resident of an insane asylum in England. Read the whole account in “The Professor and the Madman,” by British author Simon Winchester (sp?). A great read!
I also speak French, a language I like a great deal and one that is --for me at least---pleasant to the ear. (Does anyone remember that Eddie Murphy movie in which he plays some sort of Emperor? I saw a clip from that in which he says, "The French, they talk some smooth shit man!" I was LMFAO!) Among the other Romance languages, I love Italian and I like the sound of Portuguese---it’s much softer than Spanish with its harder, rolled r’s. (Although I heard Argentinean Spanish spoken and it seemed quite unlike the Spanish I’ve heard from the rest of the Spanish speaking world.) I have seen Romanian in print, but only heard it spoken a few times.
Question for Russian speakers: Can you immediately recognize (differentiate) one Slavic tongue from another when you hear it spoken? Can you immediately say, “Ahh, Czech!, or Polish!..or Serbo-Croatian.?” I ask, because I can recognize all of the Romance languages (except Romanian) and most of the Germanic languages (though I cannot always differentiate one Scandinavian tongue from another. I will always mistake Norwegian for Danish or Swedish, etc.) But German and Dutch I can recognize. I prefer the sound of German to Dutch. Dutch is too throaty (like Semitic languages). But as regards Slavic tongues, they all sound nearly alike to me! Lol! But I know this is just a matter of exposure. If I spent time in the Slavic speaking world (and learned a Slavic language), I’m sure I would be able to differentiate one Slavic tongue from another.
Every language has its poetry, but the sound of some languages irritates people, and I think it is not unfair, chauvinistic, or ethno-centric to say some languages are more attractive (not superior) than others. But even this, in the final analysis, breaks down, because when one spends a great deal of time away from the land of one’s mother tongue, there is no language that sounds sweeter than your---as the French put it---“langue maternelle.”
I think it would be quite interesting to study a Non-Indo-European tongue, such as Hungarian or Finnish. And I’m sure studying an idiographic language, like Chinese, in which there is no alphabet, would prove even more ‘eye opening.’ As the French say, “Apprendre une langue est vivre de nouveau.” (“To learn a language is to live anew.”) Less poetically, Goethe said, “Wer fremde Sprachen nicht kennt, weiss nichts von seiner eigenen. (“He that does not know a foreign language, knows nothing of his own.”)
I know hosts here are more than familiar with the American, Brit, Aussi or Kiwi who berates you for having a less than thorough command of English. I would hope that this is the exception rather than the rule for my fellow Anglophones, but I know in the States, foreign language education is a joke. As such, much of the Anglophone world is mono-lingual and has never enjoyed the fruits of knowing a language apart from the native tongue. So, there is a great irony at hand when some guy arrogantly criticizes a host’s less-than-perfect command of English, while he speaks but one language! Such guys would do better to ask the host for help than the other way around!

Dear Patriot,
I am amused that my post would provoke in you a "patriotic" or "nationalistic" response. My sole aim was to answer Gorty's question and to share a few thoughts about languages in general. I was not trying to "assure" people of anything. I said I was grateful for having English as my mother tongue. I did not say I thought it was the "BEST"---as you would put it, simply that it is a rich language.
As regards your CAPITAL boast that Russian is the "best," language I have no response. However, I know Russian is a very rich and nuanced language. I love Russian literature (which I read in translation) and I'm sure it would be gratifying to read Pushkin in the original Russian.
I have visited Russia and I have an abiding respect for Russian culture and the contributions Russians have made in nearly every field of human endeavor. Russians have for hundreds of years---and especially since Peter the Great--- distinguished themselves in the Arts & Sciences.
So, Patriot, take a chill pill and return to lower case letters. I'm not criticizing Russia or promoting some rank American jingoism. I'm not waiving a flag here, just expressing some thoughts about language. :))

RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Alwyas a pleasure to read your posts that make so much more sense than the short typed in all caps ones..
I can recognize most of the languages.. well, thing so.. Didn't have the opportunity to hear Finnish, or other alike, but I think I can make the clear difference between Dutch and German.
For the Russian, Polish.. and the ones alike it's really hard and I wonder if I ever got them right :)) Well, Russian is easy to recognize, it sounds a bit harsh, I think, don't know.
Trying to learn ( well.. sort of, because I stopped) Japanese.. it sounds nice and the topic of a sentence is keeping my ears wide open when watching some anime :))
Charlotte was saying about her own language sounding the sweetest.. Honestly, I don't miss any romanian speakers here.. heard some the past days and they're all having some strange accent and I hate the way it sounds. The thought of me having an accent scares me.. badly.

RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Thank you Psy. The feeling is mutual. Since your native tongue and French are both Romance languages and English principally a Germanic one, I’m not surprised to hear you have essentially the same problem as I do in differentiating one Slavic tongue from another. But I posed the question to Russian speakers on the assumption that they can readily distinguish one Slavic tongue from another just as you can distinguish one Romance language from another. (By comparison, I wonder if speakers of Slavic tongues would have difficulty differentiating Spanish from Italian, just as non-Slavic speakers would have difficulty differentiating Russian from Serbo-Croatian?)
My exposure to Japanese is confined to watching Kurosawa movies! Lol! However, I have frequently been struck by, what sounds to me like a huge discrepancy between the sound or tone of the language and the meaning. For example, a screen actor might utter sounds that sound decidedly angry, but the subtitle reads, “I have always loved you father.” !! lol!
I assume when you speak of hearing Romanians speaking on the streets of Paris, you mean the Romanian itself sounded “strange,” not that Romanians were speaking French with a bad accent, right? I remember how strange it was for me, upon settling in Paris, to hear nothing but French spoken, but after the first year it was English that sounded strange. Still, I agree with our friend Charlotte, one’s native tongue will always be---in the end---the sweetest sounding and the one in which we feel most at home. I think the only exception to this is with people who are truly bilingual---not just fluent. But bilingualism is frankly rather rare and people often misuse the term because they do not understand this. True bilingualism means being perfectly at home in two languages, not preferring one over the other. One can read, write, speak and dream in both. One can just as easily express a subtle thought in one as in the other. One of my professors in college was a Dutch guy who spoke nine languages. (The Dutch are great polyglots. I've never met anyone from Holland who did not speak at least four languages--usually Dutch, German, English and French). Talking one evening over a few beers, he said, "After speaking English all day, I get quite tired and always look forward to speaking my native Dutch with my wife when I go home."
Voila! C'est tout pour l'instant! :)

RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Speaking English for about 5 years, fluently (more or less) and using it daily with my husband and with a friend, it became pretty natural to me to think in English, but there are words I don't know, so Romanian or French, depends to who I'm speaking, comes in handy.
I hope I'll never forget Romanian.. I'd be ashamed of myself..
And you're probably right, it's the fact I hear so much French that makes Romanian sound odd, but as well, I'm not having any kind of accent ( guess it will be easy for romanians to know where I'm from :P) unlike all the other areas of Romania, so it may be another reason for which it sounds weird..

RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Psy, You need not worry about "forgetting" Romanian. If you were 12 years old or younger, you could forget it, but not at your age.!
RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Gorty, my question was between Spanish and Italian (both Romance languages), not Spanish and Finnish. As I'm sure you know, Finnish is not a Romance language, indeed like Hungarian and Estonian, Finnish is not even in the Indo-European language group.
RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Yes, in origin and basic structure, but with a Latin infusion. And that is what makes it rich. It's rather like an uptight Danish girl being seduced by a worldly Italian guy! :) The end result is greater than the sum of the two parts!
RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Gorty, You answer my question in part, because, for example, you say you can easily distinguish Russian from Ukrainian. I cannot. For me all Slavic tongues have a kindred sound. By way of comparison, can you distinguish the difference between Spanish and Italian?
Is your first tongue the Turkic language you allude to? In any case, is it Tartar? If so, do you have occasion to hear Turkish spoken, and if so, do you hear or recognize vocabulary or similar verb constructions?

RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Difference between Spanish and Italian? Can't be nothing easier that that :D Though I speak only russian and english.
RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Gorty, I understood you in the first place. I said "Turkic" language not Turkish. So, what "turkic" tongue is your first language?
RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Bacchant, Thank you for your kind words. As regards my question, you disprove my theory. I assumed speakers of a Slavic tongue could more easily distinguish one Slavic tongue from another, than non-Slavic speakers.
RE: Re: Language Preferences and a Question for Russian Speakers
Cybill, When you say we should listen to the "music" of the languages I quite agree and that is what I meant by saying every language has its poetry. I like listening to languages even if I do not understand.
Don't misunderstand, I recognize the Scandinavian tongues as Germanic languages. I just can't differentiate one from another. As regards the Danish/Turkish connection, I can't see it, because---among other reasons---Turkish is not even in the Indo-European language group.

RE: Which language do you like?
I love the tonal qualities of the Thai language. It is very soothing to listen to people speak Thai. No harsh sounds just smoot and melodic.
RE: Which language do you like?
Out of all the Romance languages, French has always stuck out in my mind as being something special. Not flowery and emotional and feminine-seeming like Spanish, Italian, etc... French just seems so something else.... refined, sophisticated... just so damn cool.
RE: Which language do you like?
I like sign language, It works all over the world, you just point at what you want..
RE: Which language do you like?
Okay, UrTurn, you mean THAT kind of sign language, not the sign language used by the deaf, right?
RE: Which language do you like?
I am by no means an expert but I did have some exposure to sign language and I don't think it's the same in every country. One gesture in USA means something completly different in Korea.
RE: Which language do you like?
You are right. I lived in France and someone familiar with "signing" told me the French system is not the same as the American one.
RE: Which language do you like?
Barney, I've heard Welch spoken because a friend of a colleague did his PhD on the Welch language. He's now unemployed! lol!
RE: Which language do you like?
Joe, To my ear neither Italian nor Spanish strike me as inherently feminine sounding, but I wholeheartedly agree with your opinion that French is "special," not so much because of the aesthetic quality of its sound, but moreso because it has played a "special" role in European history.
After Latin gave way to the unique Romance languages and European principalities evolved in the direction of "nationhood," French became---and remains to some extent---the language of diplomacy and commerce. (Even today I believe most passports identify the holder, not only in his native tongue, but in French as well.) The French are bothered, to some extent, that their language has been usurped by English as the 'lingua franca' for the world. ...Tant pis! (=too bad) :)

RE: Which language do you like?
ET, If you want to study Chinese you better get started. As we get older learning a foreign language grows more and more difficult. Plus, learning a non-Indo-European language that is at the same time ideographic and having no alphabet, is extraordinarily challenging.
RE: Which language do you like? - Czech and Slovak!
It has the Combined sound of french and russian. Also česky (Czech) has the unique sound of ř , all which make it very melodic and takes the best qualities of French and Russian.
RE: Which language do you like?
"it's only words, but words are all i have to take your love away..."
RE: Which language do you like?
Oops should of been heart not love.must be all those years of wearing tight pants.
RE: Which language do you like?
Lol! Barry. I guess you know first hand the medical complications that can result in wearing your pants too tight. Some years ago I heard a comedian say, "Singer Tom Jones underwent surgery today. He had his pants removed!" lol!
RE: lucid dreams?
As far as what I understand lucid dreaming to be, yeah, I have them.
Dealing with nightmares when I was little, I was somehow able to learn to remind myself that I'm only dreaming while in a dream. Ever since, I've been able to nudge a dream one way or the other pretty much at will.
If I concentrate on the time before going to bed, I can also wake up within 5 minutes of the exact time I want to get up without the aid of an alarm clock too.
How crazy is that?

RE: lucid dreams?
I guess that is partly to do with ur body clock being used to waking up at a certain time. Also partly to do with the fact that your brain is powerful enough to 'program' you as you see fit. Waking up before your alarm goes off is possible even at different times. I have done it although not as regularly as you do. It's sounds as though you have a pretty impressive ability. An ability that most people should have but most people cannot use.
RE: lucid dreams?
Gave up smoking July 6 last year, on at least two occasions have dreamt I took a cigarette from full- colour packet, lit it and could taste it. If that ain't lucid, then nothing is!!!
RE: lucid dreams?
its not. my understanding of the meaning of lucid dream is one where you know it is a dream and can affect it to your will ... change it purposefully.
I used to have them, sometimes. I hardly ever dream at all now. Maybe once every month or two, and never lucid ones.

RE: :((
It was late and I was tired.
I'm rarely having lucid dreams.. I'm usually having nightmares, dreams that happen again and again. I remember most of my dreams, but as images that can't always put in words, or they're just missing the impact they had as a dream.
I think I had a lucid nightmare once :)) and was concious that whatever will happen, I'll be ok.. meh, from so many dreams, hard to pick one :)

its not
a lucid one if you just drept it, it is lucid if you know your dreaming and for example take the cigarette from the box and think, hey in here(meening in dreamworld) i dont need a match, and use your fingertip to light is with or without a flame..
Job interview:))
Reaching the end of a job interview, the Human Resources Person asked a young Engineer fresh out of Texas A&M, "And what starting salary were you looking for?" The Engineer said, "In the neighbourhood of $125,000 a year, depending on the benefits package." The interviewer said, "Well, what would you say to a package of 5 weeks vacation, 14 paid holidays, full medical and dental, a company matching retirement fund for 50% of your salary, and a company car leased every 2 years -- say, a red Corvette?" The Engineer sat up straight and said, "Wow! Are you kidding?" And the interviewer replied, "Yeah, but you started it."
