I'm a long time member of the CC community and have made many great friends here over the years. Frankly. I've always been a Slavophile and, in fact, was introduced to CC by a devyshka I met in Moscow in the early 2000's. And for many, many years the overwhelming majority of CC hosts seemed to be Russian. But nowadays this is no longer true. While still Slavic and therefore of great interest to me :), now the overwhelming majority of active hosts are from Ukraine. Out of curiosity, I just checked with the "search" function (hey, home on Friday afternoon avoiding the traffic :P) and, while there were 39 hosts of all categories from Russia, there were 391 from Ukraine! I'd love to hear from hosts and guests about what might have led to this "sea change" .....

i appreciate everyone's response. However, the hosts i'm talking about weren't doing or offering anything more than what is allowed or expected from the category. But they did make it seem that if a "gift" wasn't forthcoming they would not provide what should have been included in their category. I don't want to name names, but this is something, I've already encountered from several hosts.

I think it was the less expected ending i had in mind ... i was still waiting till the last minute to see something to overturn the last scenes .. and when i saw finale.. i checked to be sure that this is the end of GOT.... disappointed is too less said. Was the TV series as disturbing as the books? I had to stop reading after realizing my life was worth more than wasting time reading so many graphic, sickening depictions of violence and child rape. Seriously, Google a photo of George R R Martin and then imagine that disgusting hump of a human being sitting down to write such things - fucking gross. I only hope the TV series was tamer, because to imagine the huge audience of illiterates NPC-types eating that sort of horrid shit up is even more disturbing still.
