| Spam email - Child pornography ... a message from CamContacts |

Dear all, Recently, someone has decided to spam the world with e-mails advertising the CamContacts website. The text of these e-mails varies from time to time, sometimes it says that CamContacts has underage girls who perform on our site, sometimes it simply looks like an advertising spam e-mails sent by CamContacts itself. The spam emails have a sent *FROM* header of either help@CamContacts.com, or billing@CamContacts.com or accounts@CamContacts.com when in fact these e-mails were NOT sent by CamContacts. It's a common practice for spammers to fake the email address. Normally it is done to hide their real identity and to make it look like it comes from a legitimate source, for example, recently, the whole world was spammed with emails from Microsoft, although emails were not sent by Microsoft, they were sent by spammers who tried to infect as many computers as possible since the emails contained viruses. In our case it is an attempt by spammer to damage our site's reputation and to cause us damage by pretending that CamContacts sends emails advertising child pornography and is involved in such activities, also it is an attempt to attract attention of various anti-spam organisations in order to cause us damage. Those that are familiar with CamContacts will know that this is ridiculous, but for those that are not familiar with CamContacts please be assured that CamContacts never has and never will be involved in any form of Child pornography. We currently have a strict age-verification procedure and will only allow Chathosts of disputable age if they have provided age verification documents to prove they are over 18 years of age. Moreover, in those circumstances where potential fraudulent documents have been provided we check with the local authorities to confirm authenticity. CamContacts NEVER have and NEVER will send any spam e-mails advertising our site; we also do not condone such activities from our webmasters. If any webmaster decides to advertise our website in this way, we would block the webmaster referral account. We are a reputable site, who does its business in an ethical manner. The person, who is sending these spam e-mails, is not a CamContacts webmaster, he is not earning any referral money for sending this spam, he is a criminal and simply doing it in order to damage our website reputation pretending it is CamContacts who is responsible for this spam, and his goal is also to cause us material damage. We know who is sending these emails and it is currently in the hands of the police and various investigation bodies across many countries all working together. The various authorities have enough evidence to prosecute, it just takes a little time. Fortunately the more they attack the more evidence we collect.
