As of December 2003, CamContacts now provides not only the fastest streaming video, live from the webcam featuring the chathost(s) of your choice, but we're also pioneering the way for live, streaming audio too! This means that not only can you see and chat with your favourite chathost, you can also HEAR them, in real time audio!

All you need is a pair of speakers and a soundcard, which are standard pieces of equipment these days (although we recommend earphones for more privacy :-)). If your chathost has a microphone, all she has to do is press a button on her software and away she goes! Viewers will be able to enable (or disable) sound from their Viewer's Account.

Forget long distance phone calls, now you get chat, video, and sound, at a quality that you won't find anywhere else in the world. It's one giant step for CamContacts, and one hellava-massive leap for interactivity.

Now for the technical details. Firstly, we should point out that enabling sound will reduce your video framerate by approximately 0.2fps, which is less than half a frame per second - meaning it's virtually unnoticeable.

And what about the sound quality? It's GSM technology, which is the same as that used in mobile phones throughout Europe!

What makes all this technology so great?

Interactivity with beautiful chathosts, meeting beautiful people from all over the world, the ability to play out your sexual fantasies, and, most importantly, it can all be cheaper than a long-distance phone call, especially when it's free :-).
