So the story of the successful film director and the student who meet and fall in love, is really true!!! It can happen, and does happen at CamContacts, and not just on a Hollywood film set.

Martin had lived the dream. He joined the navy straight from school, went on to work on private yacht charters' and then, after a succession of odd things, he became a musician and finally onto the film business. Martin has always had a hectic lifestyle and as a result had found it hard to find a special partner.

Now let us introduce Kat. She was working hard on her education and loved to dance in her spare time. Her parents are both university teachers so her life had been full of learning rather than leisure. Kat is Russian like Martin's dad.

Despite their Russian blood, it's unlikely that Kat and Martin would ever have met without CamContacts as they lived 1500 miles apart.

They did meet when Martin visited "redlantern" after viewing her profile on the site. Things did not flourish immediately but they had a fun conversation and got along really well.

Things started getting more serious after a few months and then Martin decided to get his own webcam so that Kat could see him too. He was nervous when it was first set - up but Kat just thought it made it easier for them to chat together. And they did chat for hours and hours.

Nine months after their first conversation and Martin was landing at Moscow airport and going to hold Kat in his arms for the first time. Their initial meeting was nervous but one vodka soon helped to warm everyone up and their 10 days together flew by. At the end of it Martin was sad to leave but even more sad when he got home and had to share Kats cam time with others. He knew then that he wanted to be with Kat and went back to see her as quickly as he could.

On the next visit he proposed and, after a million questions from Kat's family, they agreed to the wedding. So the date was set and then there were a few more bumpy moments with visas and paperwork before they finally married.

Martin and Kat now live in England and Kat travels a lot to finish her degree. Her family will be in England this summer where the Russians in both families are bond to have lots of fun together.

Without CamContacts these two great people would never have married. Now they are enjoying a great life together. Martin and Kat are both as busy as ever - but they now have each other and that makes it really worthwhile.
